Colby Heffner is a great person to work with and goes above and beyond!

Has anyone been able to get in touch with this company? I signed a contract with them 2 years ago and have not had a word from them since NOV 2021. I am seriously wondering if they are a scam. They don’t answer the phone or email but they make sure to take money out of my account each month. Terrible management and customer service.

The Heffner team is knowledgeable and focused on quality. They are talented landscape design, installation and maintenance professionals!

I have gone back and forth on writing this review because I'm not into bashing people and this work took place nearly a year ago, but I feel compelled to do so. We were shocked to the point of nearly contacting the NC landscape architecture board to report this business. They are either incredibly incompetent or trying every possible way to cut corners. We hired them to landscape our front and back yards. At one point we saw on our Ring camera that they were standing pavers loosely on end, one next to another, like Stonehenge. When I questioned them about it, I was told a lot of people choose that (I've never seen it). They also added a bark island, as part of the landscape drawing that their own employee drew up. It was maybe a quarter to a third the size of the drawing. When I brought that up, they "fixed" it but ran the plants and bark into the drainage culvert. A 7-year-old knows that all would get washed away with the first storm. He kept asking for final payment the day he "completed" the job, but left so many things out. For example, the drawing had five crepe myrtle trees along the driveway. He didn't do that until I had to tell him he didn't plant those trees. One of many examples. We are now on our second landscaper, who is fixing Heffner's mess. My guess is their landscape expertise is limited to mowing and weeding.

We have used Heffner Landscaping for the last 4 years and have been very happy with their care of our landscaping needs. Whenever I call Chris K. with any questions he has all the answers for me and on the rare occasion he doesn’t, he reaches out to someone for the answer. The team that comes out on a weekly basis is very attentive, courteous and actually cares about doing a good job. We have been very pleased with the way they keep up our yard. I would wholeheartedly recommend this firm to anyone!

To Whom It May Concern: My husband and I disagree with Like Liker's 1* review. Seemingly, using a pseudonym provides cover for this reviewer to say things we know to be untrue. Wow!! We have been extremely happy with Colby Heffner's business, specifically his timely updates, response time, and overall attention to detail while working on our large hardscape/softscape landscaping project.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Colby Heffner for reaching out to me after a situation with his company a few years back. He took the time to review previous issues, and wrote to me asking how he could right the situation. It speaks volumes that he contacted me to discuss the problem we encountered, and he personally visited with me and my husband. Thanks Colby!

Colby and his team have been excellent to work with. They were very flexible on our job and adapted as we made changes. They were reasonably priced. We would highly recommend them. Thanks Colby and team!

We have been dealing with invasive wisteria in our side yard for about 6 years now, and so far have done a lot ourselves pulling it up. But needed the big tools to come and pull out the actual roots. Colby came out within a day to give us a quote, which was very reasonable and had a good plan for eradicating it. His team brought out a backhoe and dug them all out, sprayed it with pesticide, then filled it back in with dirt and topped it with pinestraw. They worked very hard over 3 days and it looks so good! His team was on time, communication throughout was great, and we couldn't be happier with the whole process!! Would highly recommend Heffner and would use again!

I have seen Heffner Landscaping in our neighborhood (Forest Creek) for years. The crews at Heffner Landscaping have always been so friendly, courteous and respectful of our neighborhood. After seeing some of the yards they maintain and the landscapes they have installed on new construction - WOW! I am so impressed. I finally talked with Colby Heffner about what we'd like to have done and he was warm and professional and incredibly knowledgeable. I cannot wait for the upcoming work we have planned with Heffner Landscaping. I know his crews are going to knock it out of the park!

Colby and his team overhauled my backyard…installed new drainage lines, removed old dead grass/weeds, brought in new top soil and installed new irrigation lines. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy and everything was right. His price was also great!
