Contractor reviews in Cary, North Carolina

Triangle Reconstruction installed a French drain to divert the heavy rains from flooding our yard. The initial response was responsive to our needs, the expert explained what was possible, variations of the job and a quote was submitted quickly. When the workers arrived they quickly installed the drain. We waited for another storm to view if the drain was working well before we posted our recommendation and can honestly say, it is marvelous! We are very happy with the quality, support, understanding, responsiveness and professionalism of Triangle Reconstruction and highly recommend this company!
Thank you, Triangle, for helping us divert water from our home foundation! -
I highly recommend Rob and his company. We ended up doing a complete encapsulation of our crawl space along with french drains, and a dehumidifier. They started the job as scheduled and completed in the timeline they provided. No payment was expected until the job was complete and I was satisfied. As others have mentioned in their reviews, they do quality work at a fair price, and stand behind their work 100%. Rob even provided me with his personal cell and told me to call anytime should I run into any issues in the future.

We have had a great experience with Triangle Reconstruction. They addressed our crawl space with a vapor barrier and mold mitigation, and they were fair and honest about the price and the services that were needed. I didn't feel as though they were trying to oversell their services. They were responsive even on the weekend, and did not expect payment until we we're fully satisfied. They stand behind their work and maintain customer service even after the work is completed.

Rob came out to do an inspection of my crawlspace because I thought that we had a moisture problem. After a thorough inspection he told me that the crawlspace looked pretty dry and no remediation was necessary at this point. I really appreciated his honesty, he could have easily sold me thousands of dollars worth of labor and equipment, but he did not. I highly recommend Triangle Reconstruction and I will definitely call them first if I need any work in the future.

I had several folks come out and take a look at our crawl space and we received a lot of feedback about how if we didn’t clean out our crawl space immediately we would have major health problems and the house would fall apart. Triangle Reconstruction came out and confirmed what I already knew from my own personal inspection and that of the home inspector before we purchased the house, we had some issues but nothing too crazy. There was no gloom and doom or high pressure tactics to get us to use Triangle Reconstruction. Robert showed me pictures of the problem areas and explained what they could do to fix the issues. Robert provided a good, better, best plan and clearly went through what they could provide and what we could expect. The clean out, encapsulation, and dehumidifier install was done in about two days and I’m very happy with the results. I will continue to recommend Triangle Reconstruction.

We were in the process of purchasing our first home and had Triangle Reconstruction come out for estimates on structural repairs and crawlspace work. They are dependable and do quality work. Their online quoting and approval process was really easy to use. When it came time to schedule work, they got us in quickly. Since we've moved in we've had them come out to install a french drain in the crawlspace, and it was almost like they hadn't even been there. It's nice to find contractors who are professional, responsive, and respect our home. I would definitely hire them again!

Definitely get an estimate from them. The owner, Robert, viewed our foundation situation and was prompt in giving us a detailed estimate. Robert is a calm, soft-spoken straight shooter who has a low-key business manner - such a different experience after getting estimates from other contractors, who spent a lot of time trying to dazzle us with their alleged expertise while giving us incomplete, sketchy estimates. His crew is efficient, punctual, and hard working. Our project encountered some unforeseen problems - no one could have predicted them - and Robert always was prompt in addressing them, patiently explaining and answering questions about what needed to be done. I would not hesitate to call Triangle Reconstruction again if the need arises. When it was over, we felt very confident in the work the company did. It's so reassuring to deal with a man who keeps his word.

Triangle Reconstruction was very responsive, professional, and did a great job. Rob showed up on time to do the estimate, provided a clear explanation of the problem (had mold and moisture in the crawlspace), answered all of my questions honestly, and agreed to work with my requests rather than forcing me to do things I didn't want to do as opposed to other companies (eg. agreed to clean mold and apply vapor barrier to see if a dehumidifier was really needed). The estimate was much more affordable than other estimates, and they did great work. Our doorbell broke coincidentally while they were working in the crawlspace, and Rob even sent out an electrician to make sure it wasn't anything the crew did to cause the problem. Would definitely recommend them.

I was looking for someone to do encapsulation work in my crawl space. This company was one of three companies I reached out to for pricing. What I liked about this company was I was not sold the most expensive work just because.... He gave me three options to work with. Explained in detail what each option was and what it did and did not do for my crawl space. My work was more on the preventative side since I have a new house. He even gave tips on how to keep water away from my house as time goes on, as the ground will change over time due to water run-off. When they came to start the process they were on time, and finished fairly quickly. I went under the house with them and they explained what they did in detail. Happy customer here!!!

We have lived in our home for 12 years and decided to have the home inspected (just to make sure that we weren’t missing anything that was wrong). After we received the inspector’s report regarding the problems in our crawlspace, we contacted Triangle Reconstruction. They came out promptly and spent a considerable amount of time assessing the situation and getting to the ROOT cause of the problems. As a matter of fact, they discovered each and every issue that the inspector found without having had any details of the report.
They provided an itemized quote and gave us their opinion as to which items were absolutely necessary, which were “nice to have” and which we could do on our own.
We were notified as to when each and every phase of the job would start and end. Triangle Reconstruction brought in different teams of experts to complete the work. This made the job progress quickly and efficiently. After each team finished, a supervisor would come to inspect their work.
I highly recommend Triangle Reconstruction. This company runs like a finely tuned orchestra. They are professionals in every sense of the word and their work is impeccable! -
Rob and his team did a great job cleaning up and installing a vapor
barrier and dehumidifier in my crawlspace. Rob inspected my crawlspace
and developed a very good plan to allow me to get control of the
moisture problem. Price was reasonable. Work was done in a quick and
professional manner. I would highly recommend Triangle Reconstruction . -
I thought I had a good experience with this company. Less than a year later, the problem was back. They said what they did wouldn't fix the problem I was having, but it was the same problem of water coming into the house. The only thing they would do is use what I paid previously toward their new solution. When I just asked for my money back I received no response. It was had getting a response when I called back about the problem the first time. They seem nice but you will be unhappy if you need to call back with a problem

Triangle Reconstruction came out and did the encapsulated crawlspace on our home. They were outstanding! Everyone from Brian, who came out to do the original inspection and kept up with me throughout the job, to each worker that came to my home. Robert, owner, was involved and always checked on the job and making sure we were satisfied. I had a plumber and AC tech come to my home and mentioned the great job that was done and they would climb under my home anyway. I recommend Triangle Reconstruction to anyone looking for their type of services.

Great customer experience- I had a crawlspace maintainence and drainage project that was well done and efficient from start to finish. Friendly project manager (Brian), a hardworking crew that started earlier than planned and worked off hours, and fine work all around, even with a couple changes mid project. Would definitely use them again!

We had our crawl space sealed in 2020, they did an excellent job.
We have had annual service since then and we are very pleased with the service and warranty.
I recommend you use them! -
I had a fantastic experience with Triangle Reconstruction from start to finish. I had a partially rotted rim joist under the backdoor of my house that needed repairing. I called the owner, Rob, and he came out and gave me a quote for the repair within just a couple of days, on the weekend. He was very friendly and I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. The same day, he sent the quote, which was quite reasonable. Due to personal scheduling reasons on my end, he accommodated to send his crew to fix it the next week. In under half a day, they fixed the joist, which was not an easy job and even repaired an extra segment of the board at no extra cost. I was very satisfied with how everything turned out and would gladly go with Triangle Reconstruction for future foundation work.

Reliable and trustworthy. My crawlspace has had moisture issues since 2010. I've had to replace my subfloors and vapor barrier three times and it just was not cutting it. I got 2 other quotes before Triangle Reconstruction. They all agreed my foundation need to be encapsulated, but the first two companies didn't offer much of an explanation. Then I called Triangle Reconstruction. Taylor came out and inspected my crawlspace. He gave me a written estimate, showed me pictures of my crawlspace, explained what was happening, why it was happening, and presented me with a permanent solution to keep my crawlspace dry. He let me know what to expect and gave me an accurate timeframe in which the work would be completed. He made me feel like they would get the job done the right way. Everything went as planned. There were no surprises or unexpected costs. The guys were courteous and got the job done on time.

Zero stars. Worst work and customer service which I now have to pay rip out and have redone. They did work on my crawl space and didn’t do it properly and not according to code and take no ownership of their bad work. The owner came out and spent 5 minutes looking in the crawl space and said that there are no issues which is untrue and I have videos and pictures from several companies to prove otherwise. He also stated that since I didn’t purchase an extended warranty for the work that they did he can’t do anything about it. Who buys extended warranty for a crawl space. Do not use them unless you have money to waste.

I had interviewed 3 different firms to help with some emerging issues at my elderly mother's home. After speaking to Rob, I knew I had found the right one! From quoting good, better, best options; to carefully answering all of my questions and concerns, Rob created a plan to deal with ongoing moisture issues by installing a french drain system, then encapsulating the crawlspace with a dehumidifier. My 93 year old mother exclaimed "I have never in all my life seen a company clean up so well after themselves". LOL. But seriously, on the final inspection of the crawlspace, I was impressed with the meticulousness of the work, the EXCELLENT customer service and the willingness to go at the pace my family needed to go. This is a 5 star company and experience, hands down!

Be careful dealing with Triangle Reconstruction. Rob, the owner comes off as humble, honest and sincere, but if something goes wrong watch out !
I hired Triangle Reconstruction back in the winter to repair the foundation at my house. This was a very large project of which I had paid him about a third. On January 11 they caused a fire at my house burning down my kitchen. Rob was very apologetic at first, but when I told him I wanted
another company to finish the project he said I owed him a lot of money for the work they did and he claimed that they had completed %80 of the job. Fortunately, I had a reputable structural engineer come out to inspect my foundation before they started working on my house and then I had him come back after the fire. The engineer stated only 1/3 of the work had been completed - if that much ! Rob also threatened to file a stop work order if I did not let him bring ‘his engineer’ out to look at it.
I understand accidents happen and against the advice of many people I was actually willing to give him the opportunity to finish the job and try to help rectify the situation. However Rob’s estimate to finish was nowhere close to being equitable and provided no consideration for the hardship he has caused in my life. His estimate even included money owed for work they did in the kitchen which was burnt in the fire that they caused ! He clearly doesn’t understand the gravity of this and what my family and I have gone through and what we’re still going through. We have been out of our house for almost 5 months now and probably won’t be able to move back in for another month or two. My family has suffered tremendously due to this company’s negligence. -
One of the best contractors I have ever hired. Brian K the site inspector is exceptional. Very pleased with the high quality work, the honest communication, and the prudent follow-through. This company can do much more than just “crawlspace stuff” too. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to bigger local crawlspace companies, who have inflated pricing and over-engineered solutions. Brian K will tell you exactly what you “really need” instead. 10/10
