Great electrician that does great work. Ryan was really helpful and very good at communicating around the job, what was wrong, how he could fix it, and even indulged me and taught me some things during installation. Very pleased with the service I received.

I had RME set an outlet for me and it was a seamless process! Ryan and Joel were great to work with and I would recommend them to others and will call back myself in the future if ever needed!! We recently had Ryan Merlin Electric out to install some new lines of service for a recirculating pump and also a few other projects.The technician Joel was very capable and professional went right to work did a fantastic job cleaned up behind his work and their rates are very reasonable. One of the things I like about RME is that they don’t consider any job to small unlike other companies who don’t even respond to a request for a quote. We have used them before and referred them to others and will keep them on our list of preferred vendors. I would recommend them to anyone in the Cary area looking for a good electrician.

Only have positive things to say. We had around 7 different electrical jobs needed throughout the house (replace switches, new bathroom fans, GFCI, exterior panel, wired smoke detectors, etc) and Ryan and Joel took care of everything. They were very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and explained everything along the way. Straightforward estimates and invoices and I trust their work completely. Ryan Medlin Electric (RME) did the electrical work for our kitchen renovation about 3 years ago. We were very happy with his work and since that time, he has been our go-to person for all our electrical needs. From large jobs to small repairs, he has always been very responsive and great to deal with.

Ryan was great to work with, extremely professional, timely in everything he did and a pleasure to work with. He even provided great advice on how we could continue the project down the road as we renovate more areas. Knowing that I was going to repair the sheetrock myself, he even took time to show me how he was doing the work in a way that would make it easier for me to finish the repair at the end of the project.

Joel with Ryan Medlin Electric was thoughtful and thorough with helping me deal with an issue I had with my circuit and also installed and set up a motion sensor light on the exterior of my house. He was professional did a great job! Would definitely recommend him and Ryan Medlin Electric to a friend.

Ryan did a great job installing and hanging a dining area light with a 14 foot ceiling. He even took care of all the little details like touching up the ceiling paint where the new light fixture face plate was not as wide as the old light fixture. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the positioning. Ryan kept me posted on his arrival time and his work was very neat and tidy. I am so thrilled to finally find someone who takes pride in their work and is a genuinely nice person. I will definitely contact him again for any future electrical needs and highly recommend him to others. His pricing is very reasonably! Thank Ryan!

Great experience with Ryan, and his apprentice Joel. We had purchased a new LED 4-ft light for our garage, and did not have a suitable ladder to reach the 11 foot high ceiling. I found Ryan through Google, and messaged him through his website. Heard back the following day, and after exchanging some texts and photos, he quoted and scheduled the work. Communicated well. Showed up promptly as scheduled. Within about a half hour had the old light fixture removed and the new fixture wired up and in working order. Polite, professional, and left things clean. Highly recommend.

We love working with Ryan (and his apprentice Joel)! They have helped us with several different projects as we get settled into our new home from making outlets functional again to hanging a new complicated chandelier in the dining room.

Communication was wonderful, and the response time was impeccable. I asked a lot and they rose to the occasion, with a good attitude, on a Friday afternoon.

I needed an outlet set for a new tankless water heater that I was installing for a good customer. The homeowner didn't have an electrician that they had used previously or preferred and I could not pull my permit until one was selected for the project. I spoke with Ryan and ended up having them complete the work, and am glad that I found them.

They came out and looked at everything, quoted the work, and to my surprise completed it that afternoon!

Joel is a younger man but conducts himself in a professional manner; most younger guys wouldn't have had such a positive attitude on a Friday afternoon call that was worked into the schedule.
