Seth and Michael from Agape aerated and seeded our lawn. The did a fantastic job. Our backyard had very little grass and died every summer. Now we have a full lawn. The rest of the yard is great. Thanks guys!

Agape does our weekly service, but also did a retaining wall and additional landscaping/planting yesterday. Rolando, Sebastian & Cutberto did an amazing job on both areas. They arrived when scheduled, worked all day (even using wheelbarrows instead of heavy equipment due to the rain to not mess up the lawn) and it looks incredible. I always contact Agape when I need work done in the yard and they consistently do a great job at reasonable prices. An excellent company to do business with!

Rolando & Cutberto did an excellent job installing cedar mulch carefully over our back yard. As you can see, our dog also approved of the job they did.

We have Agape for full lawn and yard maintenance including mowing,trimming, fertilizer, weed control, fungus control. They are doing a great job. Recently, they resodded bare areas in back yard with Zoysia grass. Rolando and Cutberto did an excellent job of preparing the areas and laying the sod to the same level as the original grass, especially on the side hill.

We had a fantastic experience with Chris and Lou Ann from Agape Lawn Company. We did a backyard landscaping project that took around 6-7 weeks, that included a path down the side of our house, patio, terraced planting beds, firepit, and catchment/drainage work. Their crew of Aquileo, Pablo, and Erika were here 5-6 days a week and were wonderful. They straightened and cleaned up at the end of every workday and I'm sure my neighbors really appreciated it as well. As far as the work itself, they were very meticulous and addressed many little things before I could even bring them up. The whole thing felt like a very premium level of service and I struggle to come up with any complaints at all.

We hired Agape Lawn Company to build a patio and fire pit in our backyard. Bill promptly came out and provided an excellent design. Afterwards, we worked with Heather to survey our landscape and obtain an estimate for the work. When the time came to build the patio, Luis and Samuel did an extraordinary job, working in the hot summer to build the entire patio and firepit within the estimated 10-day timeframe. They even went above and beyond and offered to weed our mulch beds and brought mulch for our entire backyard. We were extremely pleased with their work and can't thank them enough.

Finding good lawn care in Durham had become a nightmare. I was just DONE! I’d heard about Agape’s reputation but I didn’t want a year round contract or pay their price. However, I decided to give them a call. I was really happy to hear that the things I had been paying for were included in their services at no extra cost. They have a FLAT rate, not per week.. another savings. It made the cost acceptable. To have someone care for your lawn like YOU would if you could and be very happy, it’s worth letting go of the stress and paying the lil more. Rolando and Cutberto came to my house to lay down mulch. They repaired my garden bed lights, planted a couple of shrubs and it looks so good. All I could do was thank them. It’s a bad feeling to PAY someone for a service and not be able to SEE a difference. I am so looking forward to THIS relationship.

Now, it’s about a peace of mind. When I added up the cost of aeration, pruning, weed control, year round yard care

We had Agape Lawn Company come to our house to do aerating, seeding, and top dressing (spreading soil and compost into the existing lawn). The seeding and aerating were performed as advertised. However, I was extremely disappointed with the top dressing. Rather than spreading and raking the soil/compost evenly throughout our lawn they just dumped the soil/compost in clumps in random places. I was concerned that the clumps of dirt would kill out the healthy grass underneath it. I ended up going out and spending a couple of hours raking and spreading the dirt into my lawn. In doing that I realized that they didn't even put enough dirt/compost down to cover all of my lawn. I communicated with Alex Wenzel who was actually onsite with the crew and he said that this was their standard practice and he vouched for the work performed.

The total cost for the top dressing alone (not including the aeration and seeding) was $1392, plus the $544 for aeration/seeding. I reviewed my footage from my doorbell camera and they were here for less than 1 hour. Again, the aeration and seeding was performed as advertised, but for a total bill of almost $2000 and about 1 hours of work, I felt like I did not get the service I had hoped for. I know its my fault for not clarifying, but for $1392 I was picturing a truckload of soil/compost and half a days work carefully spreading it throughout my lawn.

I would definitely not recommend Agape Lawn Company for future work.

I have so many good things to say about Agape Lawn. First off,, we had a huge back yard renovation done.. Michael always responded quickly, they showed up when they said they would and we received fast and reasonable quotes. Jose and Tilo were professional and clean. They were constantly communicating with us to make sure we were happy. I absolutely recommend them and we will be using them again in the future for more projects.

We hired Agape to install sod in most of our backyard and to aerate and seed the rest of our yard. The crew was prompt, worked hard, and were neat. The sod looks great and we can't wait to see all the seed sprout. Thank you Rolando, Mauricio, & Marcos for all of your hard work.

From the first consultation with Mike Hoy to finished project completed by Marcos and Armando, I could not be more pleased. I felt the price was on point. They started and finished on time. I cannot wait to enjoy my new beautiful backyard this summer. It is my Zen. And am looking forward to having the Agape crew design and complete the front yard this fall.

I had privacy bushes installed in multiple places in my yard and an old bed redone. The plants Agape brought to install were large, beautiful, and very healthy and the two men, Armando and Marco, were wonderful to work with. They were both very kind and careful with each item on the list of things to be done. The final result is great! I'll be wanting to call Agape again in the future, I'm sure.

My overall experience w/ Agape was disappointing, primarily due to customer service issues w/in management. I hired them for a complete front yard rehab & encountered several challenges w/ the company's communication & execution.

During the initial estimate, the PM assured me of his oversight, however, my interaction was limited to the installers & I never actually saw the PM during install. Despite expressing my concerns beforehand regarding the timing of the mulch install, it was applied just before the leaves started to fall. Consequently, I spent the winter dealing w/ leaves & chunks of mulch blown into the rock garden & dirt which I had to physically remove by hand.

Another problem was the inadequate drainage in my yard, which was previously discussed during the estimate. I sought advice & was told that the presence of grass would alleviate the issue, but unfortunately, the rain caused erosion & exposed the rock-filled area with patches of sparse grass. After contacting the PM, he acknowledged his mistake regarding the timing of the mulch & pledged to address the issue in January.

The resolution process proved to be challenging. W/out any notice, a new team of workers unexpectedly arrived at my house one morning at 730am, causing an unpleasant awakening by my dog. They brought a single wheelbarrow of mulch for all three islands in my front yard. In my subsequent email to the PM expressing frustration about the still unresolved issues, he ignored my inquiry a/b the mulch & solely focused on scheduling a visit for the drainage, even though the owner of the company was included in the email.

Feeling unheard, I reached out to the main office & was connected to the GM who responded several days later. After an additional 5 more days of waiting, I finally received an email attempting to schedule a meeting, 8 days after my initial call to the office. At this point, I was completely over it & sent a detailed email summarizing my attempts to resolve the issues & expressing my intention to seek help from another company to complete their unfinished work. Unfortunately, the GM merely apologized for the delayed reply with no sense of further acknowledgment. It is worth noting that the owner was again connected in this email thread.

My goals were only to achieve an aesthetically pleasing yard while addressing the drainage issues. Regrettably, Agape failed to provide satisfactory service on various levels. Additionally, their pricing was significantly higher compared to other local competitors. Despite paying $7K, my front yard now has patchy fescue + weeds, sparse mulch, rocky soil & no effective resolution for the drainage. Although they had previously agreed to reseed the yard in the spring to fill in the patchy areas, it appears I will need to hire another company to complete this.

Furthermore, there was a discrepancy in the pricing for the annual grass maintenance package. Although I was verbally quoted $500 during the initial estimate, the actual written quote was $77 per app for 7 applications, totaling $539,+ an additional $454 for aerating. So, the total cost of annual main. was rather $993.

Overall, my experience with Agape Landscaping was stressful & left me feeling consistently frustrated. Additionally, a more professional & timely response from anyone in upper management would have made a significant difference.

I had hoped to establish a long-term partnership w/ a solid landscaping company for annual upkeep, as well as a future backyard rehab. However, based on my experience, I feel the need to explore alternative options that can provide better customer service & pricing for my ongoing landscaping needs, as well as complete the unfinished work by Agape & resolve the drainage issues.

While my interaction w/ the PM was overall positive, it was overshadowed by the company's failure to address the issues, provide satisfactory solutions & communicate effectively. I believe it is essential to feel heard & valued as a customer, especially when investing a substantial amount of money into a landscaping proje

We hired Agape early this year to manage our entire property and I am extremely pleased with their service overall, and our property has never looked better. I recently asked them to do some landscaping outside of our contract and within a day had a detailed proposal, and the work was completed within a week and done to our complete satisfaction. Rolando and Mauricio did the installation and we were particularly pleased with the quality and efficiency with which the project was completed. We find the excellent responsiveness and professionalism of Agape's managers is unusual in this industry and are happy to give Agape our highest recommendation and a 5 Star rating.

They were responsive and knowledgeable. Efrain and Cutberto did a wonderful job cleaning up our overgrown shrubs and trees. I took their recommendations for pulling out and replacing several items and the results were fabulous!

Agape did a wonderful final winter pruning. Cutberto & I discussed any "problem" bushes, best amount to prune - he was so helpful! His team with Efrain & Jose did such a great job doing exactly what we had agreed on, thank you!

Agape Lawn Service did a wonderful job clearing the edge of our tree ring so that we can plant hundreds of flower bulbs that will bloom in the Spring. The work crew (Julio, Efrain, & Cutberto) was on time, efficient, and very professional. This is the third year that Agape assisted us, and I highly recommend this service for lawn care and jobs such as this one.

Agape did a great backyard landscaping job for us this year. Removed 3 trees and planted over 90 bushes/shrubs. Did it all in 2 days, mess cleaned up. Everything looks great. Thank you Rolando & Mauricio & Julio for the great work.
