This is our second time using Phil N Great. The first time the a/c coil in the attic was replaced. This time, the upstairs outdoor unit was completely dead. We called and they came the next day promptly. Different team but just as courteous and knowledgeable as the first team. Both teams said that they were I interested in resolving our issue and not price gouging their customers. We have found this to be absolutely true the first time and which is why we called them again. In under 10 minutes they diagnosed that the condenser fan wire had been cut and one of them remarked that he had never seen that before. They repaired the wire, gave us a reasonable repair cost and we were back in business. My wife had relocate to the sofa downstairs and was extremely happy to go back upstairs. Many times you see 5 star reviews and ask yourself if you can trust them. In this case, you can. We read the great reviews the first time, which lead us to Phil N Great and we were extremely pleased. After a second repair, we have confirmed that the hype is real and now we are 5-star reviewers. Thank you Phil N Great for your outstanding professionalism in an industry that is viewed by some as untrustworthy. You have restored the hope of many customers and continue to. Wishing you much success and we now forever customers.

After getting two estimates from big box companies, we reached out to Nextdoor for other suggestions. Having seen Phil N Great HVAC mentioned several times, we gave them a call. They were quick with a call back, and an appointment was set for a diagnostic assessment. The technician (Tyler) listened to our concerns, offered suggestions which felt right, and a follow up appointment was set. From the office communication - to Tyler being on time and available for any questions, we highly recommend this local company.

We called first thing in the morning and an appointment was set for that afternoon. Our technician Tyler arrived on time and diagnosed the problem with our heat pump quickly and once the part arrived, the repair was made immediately. We were satisfied with our service and we felt the fee charged was reasonable. Thank you!

Great experience with Phil N Great! Catlin, our technician, helped diagnose a difficult problem with an overheating compressor. One other contractor had put in too much freon and then recommended replacing the entire system. Catlin extracted the excess freon and suggested replacing the TXV. Great and timely service even in the busy, record-hot summer, and he even showed me what he was doing and explained what he was seeing throughout the diagnostics, which was interesting for me at least (being an electrical engineer :) Saved me a ton of money and will hopefully get a few more years out of our system. I highly recommend Phil N Great!

The technical team is highly skilled, friendly, and great at diagnosing complicated issues. We have experienced quick responses and great communication from the front office. UPDATE: Still doing great and timely work. I had them install a new Goodman unit a bit ago and my electric bill went way down. I just had a failure due to clogged air vents (from other work done on the house) causing a water buildup in HVAC which shut the system off. Gave me very useful information about preventing this as the other work goes on.

Quickly assessed the issue. It was actually a plumbing issue and Caitlin gave me all the pertinent information regarding the leak. Very polite and helpful.

Technician Bill arrived on time, was courteous, diagnosed and resolved my issue in about 15 minutes, and did not try to upsell me on equipment that I don't need. Very satisfied.

Great experience from Phil n Great. Catlin came out to analyze my current setup and determined what was honestly best for my attic loft area that was not getting enough air. I had my head set on just biting the cost and getting a mini split installed, but they recommended that a multi-zoning option would cover the space with ease. They were able to save me on costs and the current air flow has improved and the loft is comfortable to live in!

The best service ever! Used Phil & Great before for a big install, and must say when I needed my gas line turned off recently to work on the counter & stove? The gas company couldn’t put me on their schedule. Phil & Great quickly responded! Not only that, they came out to assist and said, No Charge! The human side of help in an emergency situation. Calling an HVAC company almost always means something has gone wrong in your home, which is undoubtedly stress-inducing; but my experience with Catlin and his team (most recently Tyler) has always been exceptional. Very easy to coordinate with, very professional, and best of all; incredibly transparent and helpful for a non-mechanically inclined customer like me. There has never been so much as a whiff of the sleazy up-selling tactics I have experienced with other providers. Just great consultation and straight shooting. I would highly recommend them!

Very pleased with my winter service today on my unit. Tyler was very pleasant and explained to me what he would be doing. He changed my filters for me and gave me a recommendation to change filters every month using the less expensive filters versus the more expensive ones that can be used three months. I received a call prior to his arrival by the office as they stated when I scheduled. Very professional and was in and out of my home within a reasonable amount of time. Note: As I cam,e in to write a review for my summer maintenance I realized I never hit the post button to send my review in. I’m sending it a few months late but better late than never

Bill from the Phil N. Great team was phenomenal. Not only was he able to arrive same day, but he was friendly, diagnosed the problem after checking numerous potential concern areas, and provided solution options. We laughed at what previous vendors tried charging me historically and left me better educated of our new homes system, and with a game plan moving forward. All in all, great service. Without a doubt, we will be keeping their info on my fridge for future maintenance/service.

Called Phil N. Great to come fix my heat when it went out based on NextDoor reviews. I was not disappointed. The tech quickly fixed the issue and the cost was very reasonable. I know my system is a little older, but he didn’t tell me I needed to replace it like other companies I’ve dealt with. He suggested their maintenance program to help extend the life of the equipment. The cost for their maintenance program is also very reasonable. Would definitely recommend!!

HVAC was not working. They scheduled the next day at my convenience and was able to quickly diagnose the issue. It ended up being a minor issue of blockage that was quickly cleaned / remedied. I also received feedback on current status of the unit and recommendations on how to prevent it in the future. They did not try to upsell me and offered a very reasonable price to go with quick, friendly and thorough service answering all my questions.

We just had a new more powerful HVAC system installed. It was making a strange noise then it shut down so I called to have it checked out. A service person was sent out within a few days and it appears the problem was related to a loose cap on the top of the unit. It is now working well. I appreciate that they responded to my concern quickly. The new system is doing a great job.
