Great service! Needed some help replacing parts on a water heater. Ryan was very knowledgeable, talked me through options, and gave me great background info on my system!

Be wary of Ryan the technician. He’s never on time to your house. The owner of the company also beats his female employees. Avoid this company at all costs. Something really weird and disturbing is going on behind the scenes. Would not trust these people inside my house or anywhere near my property.

Edit: This man went to court for beating his employee and is a domestic abuser. This person should not be in business whatsoever and is rude to everyone but plays the whole veteran victim card.

We used to call them when we lived in Chapel Hill and I wish I could teleport them to Charlotte! 😭 Absolutely reliable, only ever met Ryan and talked to Tim on the phone. never ever BS'd us at all, didn't waste our time, gave helpful information first about if a job was easy enough for us to do ourselves and then *asking* if we still wanted him to do it, just totally respectful of their clients.

Called them for second opinion on a potential safety hazard involving our water heater because we haven't found a place we can trust yet in Charlotte, and they took the time to examine some photographs and asked penetrating questions to make sure they werent missing anything, just to help my partner and I make sure we weren't about to get unnecessary work done. Lifesavers, and I mean this in the literal sense because a gas water heater with problems can *kill you*

We have used Dr. Drain for a number of jobs over the years, and they do excellent work. They get out to your home fast, their technicians are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. In addition, the pricing is quite reasonable. I would most highly recommend this plumbing contractor.

Excellent plumbing services! We've had two projects completed by Dr. Drain: plumbing installed for 4 sinks, and a water line installed to our fridge. We were very pleased with how communicative, prompt, friendly, fun and helpful Jordan is. He works hard to make sure his work is done right. The water line took longer than planned due to an unseen metal beam in our wall, but he honored the quote he gave us without an added charge for the extra time. He even called us to make sure things were working well the next day. Great service and reasonable pricing!

I have used Dr. Drain twice now, and I doubt I'll ever use anyone else moving forward! The office staff is very friendly, and the young woman who worked with me helped to to get us on the schedule quickly. Services were performed by Ryan both times, and he is extremely knowledgable in addition to being incredibly nice. Best of all, they are reasonable in their pricing. I would absolutely recommend them!

Dr. Drain does such a good job every time we’ve called them. Recently we had a mysterious spot of water damage in our wall. Ryan came out, did some investigation and found the issue — a small finishing nail in our crown moulding had just slightly poked a hole in a hot water pipe and eventually led to this damage. Ryan showed us everything, fixed the pipe, wrote up a great report for our insurance, and left everything nice and clean. Thank you Ryan!

I've used Dr. Drain for all our plumbing projects and needs. April is always helpful in scheduling the visits and following up to ensure we were satisfied with the work. Ryan does an excellent job every time he comes to complete a project. He expertly replaced our toilet and the shower fixtures upstairs. More recently, he fixed the downstairs toilet that was leaking water and was in dire need of repair, and now it works without a hitch. Ryan also takes the time to explain everything he's doing and encourages questions/check-ins throughout the project to keep the customer informed and makes suggestions for ways to take care of the house's plumbing. We've been very pleased with Dr. Drain and would highly recommend them!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Dr. Drain Plumbing, and the exceptional service they provided when I needed help diagnosing a leaking shower. I originally found them through a referral from Angie’s list and after reading through the large numbers of highly praising online reviews on Angie’s list, BBB, google, and yelp. I can attest that the high praise of all their online 5-star reviews is very well earned. From start to finish, my experience with Dr. Drain Plumbing was nothing short of phenomenal, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of plumbing services.

First and foremost, Dr. Drain’s turnaround time was remarkable. After contacting them, they were able to get a service technician out to my house within just one day. This quick response time was incredibly impressive especially considering this was not an immediate emergency and many other service businesses in the triangle are often booked a minimum of a week or more out.

What I appreciated most about Dr. Drain Plumbing, however, was their honest and patient approach to their business. Initially, I was prepared to have them cut open drywall to inspect pipes as a precaution, but the technician, Ryan, talked me out of it because he believed it wasn't necessary. This level of honesty and integrity was refreshing and ultimately saved me a lot of money. What's more, the service call ended up being free of charge, which was an unexpected bonus. A lot of businesses won’t hesitate at the chance for an easy upsell or to charge for unnecessary work, Dr. Drain is definitely not one of those businesses.

Speaking of Ryan, he was a pleasure to work with. He, along with everyone else I spoke to at Dr. Drain, were extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. Ryan answered all my questions and took the time to explain what he believed was the underlying cause of the leak (an issue with the drain pan) and what my next steps should be in terms of getting the contractor who originally installed it back out to my house to fix it. While he was here, I also got into an extended conversation with him about the costs, work involved, and pros and cons of replacing our gas tank water heater with a gas tankless heater (and the pros/cons of gas vs electric tankless heaters). Since we first moved in, switching to a tankless heater has been on our list of changes we’d like done, and after talking with Ryan about it, I’m now strongly considering having them come back and do that for us sometime very soon.

Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Drain enough. Their short turnaround time, honest approach to their business, and friendly, helpful team made what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and positive experience. If you're in need of plumbing services, do yourself a favor and give Dr. Drain Plumbing a call. They truly deserve all five stars!

We had a plumbing emergency and Ryan came same day and immediately came up with a game plan. He was back the next day to take care of all of our plumbing woes, not just the emergency. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. He was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and did great work. In an age of extremely busy trades people who don’t get back to you, and then deliver disappointing service, this company is a shining light. 10/10 recommend!

I just moved here from Florida and needed a plumber. I had absolutely nobody to ask advice locally from for a good one. I chose Dr.Drain after reading so many fake reviews for other plumbing companies. You know the ones, all the 5 star ones posted the same day or mere days apart. Dr.Drain’s all seemed legit.
I made the right choice. The owner was very friendly, and he had Ryan at my house in a little over an hour…and it wasn’t even an emergency. Ryan was also friendly and professional. Fixed my issue and also quoted me a price for a new toilet.
I will continue to use Dr.Drain for all my plumbing needs.
