ACS Accent Comfort Services

I am so happy with the service I received from Accent Comfort Services. I called to get some help with a DIY project gone wrong on a sink. They were able to send someone out that day and took care of the problem immediately and professionally. Trey was the professional who came and he was very kind and did great work. Accent is my go-to for all things HVAC, plumbing, etc!

My hot water tank began leaking water so I called Accent. They came that day to assess the situation and provided a same-day quote. They quickly installed my new hot water tank so I did not have to take one cold shower! :)

Our home warranty company set up the appointment for us because of a leak in a clean out pipe. The cap for the pipe was on an interior wall of our garage. The technician arrived on time and was polite. He called me at work to say he needed to cut a significant hole in the wall but first he needed to go get a part for the repair. I said that's fine, just do the work. As the technician was leaving he told my son he needed to get the warranty company to approve the work.

A day later I called the office to find out why the technician never returned to our house. They told me the claim was denied and their rep said he told me that. It was the first time I'd heard the claim was denied. So I asked the customer service rep to schedule the work anyway. She claimed she couldn't get back with us for several days.

Long story short, they wanted nearly $900 to tear out a wall and replace the pipes. (By the way, they wouldn't be replacing the portion of wall they removed.) I called All American Plumbing and got the problem fixed the next day for less than $200 and ZERO damage to my wall.

Clearly this company lives off getting home warranty claims denied, then charging home owners enormously inflated prices.

Avoid at all costs.
