Water Damage Restoration reviews in Charlotte, North Carolina

RIGC has gone above and beyond while dealing with a flood at my mother's home in Mooresville. Chris McWhorter has been in constant contact while I'm in NY or NC, and the crew (also Chris) who came in to do the work have been professional, knowledgeable and courteous throughout the entire process. It put me at ease to know that my sr citizen mother and her home were in such good hands. I highly recommend RIGC!!

Project Manager was never on time. They hired poor quality tradesman. When they incurred problems they tried to charge me addiotional money. It has been 6 weeks on a two week project and the project isn't finished. Please don't use them!!

Not often is anyone in a good mood when they walk into a flooded office. Rainbow was out by 8 am for water extraction. They got our insurance carrier and took it from there. Made it very easy for me as an owner. Thank you all :)

This company not good for business very badly. Project Manager can communicate at all. His is Johnny. Hire than to fix my basement and kitchen for 11,000 and still there is no kitchen for my family to use. I am having very very experience with the company. I çall the office and still, nothing is done. If you are there looking for a company to do work please do use this company. They will take your money and you will not hear from then. If zero Star was an option they will receive zero star.. Very bad company!!!!!

Rainbow International came in and did mold remediation after the previous company failed to do so. They were extremely helpful, precise and quick. They took care of the job in a few days when previous company failed to do so in 3 months. HIGHLY recommend

Everyone I dealt with at Rainbow International of Greater Charlotte was courteous, professional, helpful, on time with all appointments, and followed through on every aspect of the repair work that was needed after water damage in my home. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my family and friends.

The guys at rainbow were very professional they showed up on time, they did a great job repairing our home and helping us through the transition. Jake Elgin was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this company.

BEWARE!!! This company has no customer service. Filed claim with insurance company and they choose this company to do the work. Initially very friendly but after three months they have yet to finish the work. No organization on the project. Constantly having to call/text them trying to find out when they will complete work and keep getting the run around. Excuse after excuse. Work was shotty at best. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

This is a review after seeing the result of their work.Rainbow was referred via her insurance company for a service related accident. Moved in with my mom after she got sick and I noticed some issues with her flooring.
-
Their whole team is great to work with. They kept me updated on with what was going on the whole way through with my project and finished on time. Good contractors are hard to fine now a days and they are one of them. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT USE THEM!!! Please read all these reviews before signing the contract. No one is lying on them bcuz the complaints are all the same. This is the worst company ever. I wish I had read these reviews before using them but my insurance company referred them so I thought they would be ok. Boy was I wrong. They took 8 months to complete a small kitchen bcuz of poor communication. When they first came I thought they would be good but soon found out they talk a good game but performance was REALLY REALLY BAD. They said they were going to start on one day and no one showed up & didn’t call to let me know. I asked for one color to be painted on my walls & they almost put the wrong color. Thank Goodness I showed up before they got started. When you ask the project manager questions he would just tell you anything and 90% of the time it was wrong. I had to constantly call to see when they would complete the project, he would give a date and that date would come & go. They put in cabinets & floors I didn’t approve so they had to redo the cabinets I kept the floors just to get it over with. The contractors broke my TV. It was the worst experience. I called the owner thinking the communication would get better but it never did. I wanted to fire them several times but didn’t want to go thru the hassle of going to court bcuz I had signed the damn contract 🤦🏽♀️ I could go on & on about the bad experience but you get the gist. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE TERRIBLE

I am very pleased with the work that Rainbow did to fix our vinyl plank floors. They were very professional and responded right away with our concerns and took care of the job as soon as possible. We recommend them for all of your restoration needs!

Jordan was extremely professional. He took the time to educate about the process of cleaning and was patient listening to our questions. I would use Rainbow again and specifically refer Jordan for any friends or family.

It has been a little over a year since I moved back into my house after a devastating fire. Jake and the guys at Rainbow showed up like superheroes before the firetrucks left and held our hands all the way through. They handled everything! They salvaged what could be salvaged, cleaned and restored it. They stored everything until we could move back in and they recommended a great construction company and interfaced with them as well. My house is beautiful and very well constructed, my most prized possessions were beautifully restored - even some very charred furniture. They were great, polite, helpful beyond the necessary, and I can not recommend them highly enough. They will be friends for life.

All the guys here has done an amazing job! Jordan , McCain, Scott and Jenny just to name a few has really went above and beyond to help me get my house move in ready! Will always use them in the future if i need anything!

Jake Elgin and his crew did an amazing job restoring my house. The whole crew were not only capable, they were very kind and supportive during the whole process (needing your home restored is a traumatic experience). If anything wasn't correct and up to my standards, they corrected the problem without question.
One of the best features was Rainbow's ability to deal seamlessly with my insurance company. Rainbow efficiently handled it all so I could spend my time and energy continuing my normal life. -
When we had called to set up an appointment they were very quick to respond and had several men come out to my house to evaluate and give me a quote. Once the work started my husband had to stay constantly be in contact with a supervisor to get the job completed. Our crawl space was filled in with sheetrock that wasn't supposed to be filled in. Once the job was completed the supervisors never contacted us to make sure the work was done to satisfaction. A final walk through was not done. I was not happy with the quality of work and poor communication. My husband had to constantly text and call to get updates. Our ceiling had several water damage spots that were cut out and the holes were left for over one week and my husband had to complain and threaten to go elsewhere before they came back out to complete the job. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I informed my insurance company this. Not recommending this company to anyone. For them to be so eager to get our work they sure did drop the ball once the job got started. I took pictures of the filled in crawl space and poor job of fixing a ceiling. Not happy with Rainbow International of Charlotte.

The Project Manager Shannon knows how to get repairs done in a timely manner and one correctly. She cares about the customer and their concerns and puts herself in their shoes to make the experience professional but also personable. If she is your project manager I will say you are lucky. Very professional and on top of things always.

That Rainbow came and repaired my home and the PM Scott was so great. He made everything go smoothly and made me feel comfortable that everything was getting done the way I wanted. Work was completed in a timely manner.

We had damaged hardwoods that needed to be replaced. Jeremy was our initial contact and he was a great help throughout the process, especially with handling some issues we had with their contractors. The project manager under him was okay but the communication was a challenge. We were told multiple times that work would begin on certain dates and then it did not. We finally reached out very frustrated after several occurrences of failing to follow through on their word. It turned out there was a legitimate explanation for a lot of the delays but none of that was communicated and we were left frustrated and trying to figure out what was going on. Beyond that the contractors were bad. Some of the issue did stem from the delays that weren't explained to us but once they actually got on the job they did mediocre work, damaged other parts of our home without telling us and also did not follow through with commitments. Our job was one of those perfect storms where everything seemed to go wrong but a lot of it could have been prevented. Unfortunately I would not recommend using this company. Poor communication seems to be a consistent issue based on a lot of other reviews that we should have listened to. We went with Rainbow over another company recommended by a friend who works in construction and we will not make that mistake again.

Bought a house from a seller who used this crappy company to do a fire renovation. Had a structural engineer come in before we closed so was able to get them to fix all the stuff they hadn’t fixed, but it’s been 4yrs now and the wood they used was to rebuild the chimney and roof is untreated so guess what, it’s starting to rot. Nails are coming out of the planks & the paint is peeling off of my house... the worst job of any kind I’ve ever seen. RUN FROM THEM, if you want their so called work to last longer than 4yrs. Unbelievable that this company is still in business
