Tree reviews in Clayton, North Carolina

Buddy was so communicative, efficient, and got the job done less than 24 hours after we called him!
Definitely recommend.

First class experience! I would call Buddy again.

Prompt, polite, friendly and efficient...Buddy did an awesome job!

Buddy is the most professional and honest guy I’ve ever worked with. Rock solid, you will not find anyone better.

Absolutely Fantastic!! Buddy is extremely professional & a very kind person. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend his services to anyone. Thanks for your excellent work 😊

Buddy did a great job. He grinded a bunch of stumps for us and then leveled it all out as best he could and blew off our driveway for us. He was very nice and did a great job.

Buddy is one of the nicest people that you will ever meet.He scheduled to come out and was able to come earlier. Buddy does excellent work and charges a fair price. Definitely would recommend BSG Stump Grinding.

Local guy, Buddy is awesome to work with. Was flexible for scheduling, and just an overall nice person. Price was 100% reasonable for my work and my neighbor's work. Definitely will look to call Buddy again in the future.

Buddy did an excellent job, not only removing the stump, but his machine was able to go deep enough to enable a drainage project I have going on. Above and beyond what I expected....and very reasonable.

Great experience! Buddy provided excellent care to our yard when grinding 3 large stumps. He took time to make sure the area was cleaned afterwards and that the remnants were neatly piled in a way that is making it easy to use in other areas of my yard. In addition to the actual stumps, he identified roots that protruded out from the main stump area and graded those down to help with future grass growth. He was so pleasant to talk with as well. Very reasonable rate. Definitely call him if you need any stumps gone.

Buddy always does a great job. One of the few remaining great and dependable contractors out there. I have used him several times over the years and he always goes above and beyond expectations. Would highly recommend if you need any stumps gone. Reasonable pricing, quick service, and an all around great guy.

I had BSG grind 2 stumps for me. What an awesome guy!!!! He is all about the customer and customer service. He did a quick and fantastic job at more than a fair price. I told him he should charge more. I can’t recommend him enough. If I ever have a need for tree services again, BSG will be my first call.

Hands down....the BEST service I ever received. Not only was the pricing incredibly good but Buddy was a fine gentleman to work with. Him and I hit it off right out of the gate and we ended up enjoying each others company enough to chat for over an hour over our passion of military history.
Buddy's pricing went further than I thought as I had a few stumps grinded before that didnt turn out too well. He was referred to by that company to contact and he would make it right. To put it in perspective, to rent the home depot manual stump grinder for a day was half of what he charged me for a large amount of stumps. His equipment, is top notch and makes easy work without breaking the operators back. He spent 4 hours here and knocked out all that I had.

Not only did he fix the job that the others missed, but he voluntarily identified bulges of branches in areas I mow to trim down to stop risk of mower strikes.
After getting halfway done, he had me go out and make sure everything was done right. Whatever he missed he hit it back and helped give me some tips on how to break it down to move it around easier.

I have to say, I've had plenty of contractos over at the house and Buddy is by FAR the best I've ever dealt with. I've already made the recommendations around the neighborhood and on our Cisco mailer (17,000 employees in RTP) for stump grinding service.

Anytime I need services on stumps done I'll be giving him a call.

Buddy, it was a pleasure and I hope I can drive more business your way. You're an outstanding gentleman and if you're ever in the area stop by. Seriously.

Update 3/20/25- Hired Buddy again to help remove a lot of the trees we had in the area and yet again he over delivered. Can not recommend him enough.

Buddy did an awesome job with our property. I've been in the landscape industry for nearly 20 yrs...it's so hard to find a stump grinding company that actually grinds all the way down into the dirt along with not missing something... BSG went above and beyond and didn't miss a thing! Knocked out over 30 stumps on our property. Great communication, Good pricing, knowledgeable, insured, & he loves what he does! Will definitely be referring him to our clients.

Scott work was great! He came out and looked at our tree stumps and he was able to finish the job the same day.

Scott was awesome, our tree got partially torn down in a hurricane and he came quickly and cleaned the whole thing up. I am very happy with what he did and what he charged. I highly recommend his services!

I own a tree service/ stump grinding service of my own. I had a stump grinder break down and called Scott to assist me with keeping my customers jobs moving. He did multiple jobs for me until I was able to get my machine repaired. He did an excellent job and was prompt, professional and courteous. Will be using him again in the future!!
