I had lost power to half of my house. The electrician came promptly and assessed the problem and explained what he found. He then made the call to Duke Power since it was a problem related to power coming in on their line. The price was exactly what he quoted. I would definitely use this company again.

I had a small construction project that required an electrical permit. Alan Miller came onsite and provided an estimate within hours of my call to him. He did the work (above what I asked) and obtained the permit at a very reasonable rate.

I contacted Alan to have a 220v outlet installed in my garage. He was very responsive, creative and promptly and professionally installed the outlet.The first electrician I reached out to tried to sell me on a sub panel for $2500. Alan came up with a creative solution that costs 1/5th that. I highly recommend Alan for residential electric work! We will definitely be calling him again!

Alan took the time to speak me on a Sunday evening and tried to help me troubleshoot my issue over the phone. When it was clear that the issue was not going to be resolved, he came out the next morning right on time. He fixed the issue quickly and charged me a very fair price for his service. I'll be using Darby again in the future.

Mr. Darby has completed two projects for us, including a significant rewiring for our 1950s kitchen. We highly recommend him! He is very responsive, easy to communicate and work with, and provides a fair estimate and sticks to it. Definitely give him a call for your next project.

They installed a ceiling fan on a very tall cathedral ceiling, changed light bulbs on the same ceiling and in a stairwell, and tightened up several outlets. They were professional, respectful of my home, and a pleasure to work with.
