They were very attentive to my needs; offering suggestions when I was at a loss and so engulfed in too many projects that I couldn’t stop.
After the lights were installed the team followed up with me to ensure my satisfaction.
They even returned to my home to re-adjust the height of the fixtures so that I was happy with the total overall experience.

Highly recommend, the job I had was complicated by my accidentally misinforming Jafar of where the outlets were. That led to a delay in discovering the source of the problem (my fault) and despite that Jafar was positive. Did not upbill. Price was consistent with the estimate and I thought was very fair considering the extent of the work he did.

I just had to share my incredible experience working with Jafar. I'm a bit of a tech enthusiast and usually all for tackling DIY projects but installing an Ecoflow battery backup system with a smart panel was a whole different ball game. Most other electricians I approached kind of shrugged it off, but not Jafar.

Right from the start, it was clear he knew his stuff, especially when it came to the nitty-gritty of setting up the Ecoflow system. What blew me away was how he managed to explain the whole process without making me feel like I was drowning in technical jargon. He walked me through everything, answered my countless questions, and never once made me feel like I was slowing him down.

The attention to detail was on point too. Every wire, connection, and circuit was handled with care, and you could tell he took real pride in his work. Safety and perfection seemed to be his motto. They upgraded our electrical panel to accommodate an EV charger and helped us through the process of choosing the right charger for our needs and installed the charger for us. They took care of the permitting and inspection though the city as well.

We desperately needed to replace our standard builder grade fluorescent light fixture in the kitchen with something else. We wanted traditional recessed lights and contacted a few electricians to get the estimates. Jafar/Green Volt was the only electrician who delved deeper, in addition to asking questions about the age of our home/usage, he also examined the adjacent rooms and (with our permission) the upstairs room directly above the kitchen. He advised against the traditional recessed lights and proposed we use canned LED lights, which I was against and my husband was for. I was concerned about the brightness of LEDs and that canned lights would look just as tacky as the fluorescent light. He reassured me and showed us videos of a previous install and explained he would install a dimmer. We ultimately went with Green Volt (price wise Green Volt came in mid-range) and I’m so glad we did!

As with all installs, there were surprises: pipes in ceiling in an unexpected place! Jafar advised that we adjust the design layout to accommodate the pipes and that he’d shift the angles to make sure there were no dead spaces. I appreciated that he triple checked with me before proceeding and explained the situation in plain nontechnical terms.

It’s been a week since installation and we’re very pleased with it! I love the dimmer feature to adjust the lights and it looks spectacular! Great experience all around from consultation to install.

Jafar was prompt and professional, explaining the work he did to install an EV charger and whole house surge protector. He ran the wire through our crawl space to reduce the amount that would be visible from the carport and even installed a new light switch in the carport when the charger installation revealed the old one was faulty. I highly recommend Green Volt Electric and would hire them again.

Great service and communication! Scheduling was no problem and I was kept up-to-date with appointment timing. Jafar is a good problem-solver and *very* patient. The supplied parts - in this case for some LED lights - don't quite work with existing electrical parts? No problem. Jafar will find a way if there is one. We called on Green Volt to install two new 240v plugs at our home. One on a 50 amp circuit with the plug placed on the opposite side of the house from the panel and another(40 amps) into our kitchen for a future range upgrade. Jafar paid us a visit to develop an estimate for the work and kindly suggested that we upgrade our panel with whole house surge protection. Seems like a good idea(for a fair price) and so contracted with him to do all of the above. The work is done and we're already enjoying our upgraded service. At least when it comes to charging our car -- the kitchen range is on backorder with no delivery date in sight. We will definitely call on Green Volt again for any future electric needs.
