I waited to review Natural Zen Cleaning (NZC) until after their second cleaning to make sure the exceptional service I received the first time wasn't a one off. So I will review the two visit separately:

Visit 1 - Harmony
This option provides a thorough cleaning and I mean thorough. My home was the cleanest it's ever been at one time from top to bottom literally including inside windows, baseboards, window sills and more. This option also includes aromatherapy which left my home smelling amazing for approximately 3 - 4 days. They sent a team of 3 very friendly ladies that gave attention to every detail.

Visit 2 - Purity
This is one step down from the Harmony option. It also provides a thorough cleaning...just shy of Harmony and also includes the aromatherapy. There's a team of two that come out with this option...and yes, they were as friendly and thorough as the first team.

The office staff that you speak with to book your appointment is friendly and patient to answer all questions. I called several times to ask questions because I was hesitant due to previous disappointing experiences with other companies and April and Leo were very nice and understanding. My only regret is that I didn't use them sooner. I loved their professionalism and customer service and I now have a standing appointment every two weeks which keeps my home showroom beautiful.

Prior to your appointment they will send an email as a reminder with a list of what you can do to make sure your appointment doesn't go over the allotted time...make sure you follow that to avoid possible additional costs

I have used Natural Zen Cleaning two times for my rental property and have been incredibly happy with the results. Their team is responsive, professional, and reliable. My last experience with a cleaning service was terrible, so it has been a blessing finding this new team! I currently use their services bi-monthly and love the results. The home is always left spotless and I can rest assured that the guests staying at my home will be comfortable and safe.

We have been using Natural Zen Cleaners for over three years. We've moved in that time and they have cleaned both of our houses. We use the "clarity" level treatment with them and have been very pleased with this level of service.

They are excellent at communicating about service times and changes in schedule. Since my husband and I work from home, we are often there they come clean and they do a great job of working around us. That also means we get a glimpse into their cleaning ethic. We have a 2500 sq ft house, with three floors (finished attic used as office space). They show up with 2-3 people and they are HUSTLING the whole time, for about 1.5 hours. Moving runner rugs, cleaning the blinds, stairs, scrubbing toilets etc. The house smells great and feels like it's put back in order after they're there.

They've been coming every 2 weeks for the past two years, and even though we've looked at our budget a few times, having the cleaners come is a non-negotiable expense for us. It is so worth it to have reliable people! Would recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of receiving the Harmony cleaning package. This was my first cleaning by Natural Zen. Overall, they did a great job. I did not find any dust anywhere like I have found with prior cleaning companies. I also love the many payment options that they offer. My only complaint is that I was expecting my home to smell like aromatherapy when I returned.....especially since that was stated on the website with the Harmony package and in some people's reviews. However, it was just the normal smell that is left when my home is cleaned. I also appreciate that the staff were nice to my chihuahua. I will continue to utilize their services. Hopefully my home will smell like aromatherapy after their next visit.

Nothing stress free about this experience which I bought from Living Social as a package. It turned out to be very stressful from the scheduling issues, communication issues, and the worst customer service I have ever had from a cleaning service. They rescheduled last minute on business day prior then showed up over an hour early before the new time they had chosen. They had an issue at my home but had poor communication on their end which led to them leaving without finishing. I came home early to check and found unclean floors and a half used bottle of my own dish detergent covered in white residue. They promise a satisfaction guarantee policy to come back within 24 hours to address issues which they do not honor perhaps due to being a Living Social customer. Owner flat out told me too booked to send someone back out and offered a discount on a future clean that he could not even tell me when he could book due to how busy they were. Owner did not provide prompt response and when he did take call on the business number, it was with a crying child which ended when he hung up on me after I told him I was not satisfied. What they promote is not what they provide and they appear to be understaffed which contributed to my lousy and un-Zen like customer service experience.

Friendly and professional! Always get the cleaning done within the estimated time frame without compromising on quality, and communication is always great prior to and during each job!

Really recommend Natural Zen. They are professional, courteous, communicative and do a great job cleaning. Have been using them over a year and a half now. Appreciate they use people and pet friendly products.

We paid $272 for a cleaning that took 2.5 hours. We were told that the cleaning would need 40 more minutes to be done. Based off of the condition of the house after 2.5 hours, they wouldn’t have even cleaned it to expectation with 40 extra minutes. I thought a lot about leaving a review but I feel like our money was wasted and I will never use this company or suggest them to anyone. I watched one of the cleaners “mop” the same spot under my table with a swiffer mop, a mop pad, and a spray bottle, for about 20 minutes. They told me to tell them rooms to focus on because they didn’t have time to do the whole house…. Well I don’t know what they cleaned in 2 hours besides vacuuming and wiping down counters and the stove and microwave. They brought 3 people with them. My mother and father owned a cleaning company in Durham for over 10 years and they used to regularly clean my home in less than an hour. This is ridiculous. They also moved items in my house and did not return them where they found them, the couch was in a completely different spot, and the SHRINE AND URN we have for our cat was completely messed up with pictures fallen and everything. The pictures attached don’t even scratch the surface but are all from areas they were told to focus on. Do not use this company, I don’t even know why I’m giving the second star but they will waste your time and money. We got the purity cleaning- one level down from the most expensive cleaning. I have attached a picture of the carpet under the ottoman in a room they vacuumed, a picture of the stove they didn’t lift to clean- only wiped down the top, and a picture of the bottom of the soap dish in our bedroom shower- I purposefully left this the past couple weeks prior in order to see how the cleaning went. They were told to “focus” on every room these pictures are from after I was contacted and told they needed more time. Truly unacceptable.

I have had my home cleaned by other cleaning services and private individuals. Natural Zen Cleaning has the most well trained, professional and conscientious staff I have encountered. The team worked together to deep clean my home. When they were finished, I was struck by how everything seemed to shine and sparkle. I'm not sure what products they use but my home was not left smelling like cleaning supplies. I can't recommend them highly enough. Their Harmony service is well worth the money.

This is the third time I’ve used them for a deep cleaning and their work is absolutely incredible. My House looks amazing and lot of things, such as countertops look brand new. The hardwoods are incredible. I don’t know how they do what they do but overall it was a perfect 10+.
