We purchased our home a year ago and put in a new deck. This put it right up against a steep hillside overgrown with weeds, trees and ivy. We had been looking for a contractor and spoke with several. Tommy from Agape Lawn was the only one who discussed all the things that needed to be done from clearing the hillside, to irrigation, to the wall. He provided us a plan that included all of these that met our budget and then we were able to comfortably increase our budget to match our real needs. From the day they arrived I was impressed with their staff and their desire to do the job right, despite find the clay in the hillside to be some of the toughest digging they had encountered. He kept in touch about our concerns, among them sprinklers damaged during the work. What we got was a professional built and attractive wall, a cleared and much more maintainable hillside, a fully repaired and functioning irrigation system, grading and seeding of the work area, and a real sense of pride in the immediate impact on the value of our back yard experience and its value. The crew they used was friendly throughout the process, on time, and were actively working all through the project. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional job that was worth the cost.

We chose Agape after talking to several landscaping companies. Agape was very honest, gave good advice and worked with our needs and budget. The quote was itemized and transparent, giving us options to save on items if we wanted. The crew was amazing, worked diligently and professionally on the job despite the rainy weather. It looks amazing! We highly recommend them.

Will and the rest of the crew did an amazing job on my small backyard. We were looking to make more usable patio space from an area in our lawn where grass was never growing. They came by, provided great design ideas and suggestions and worked very hard to get everything completed in one week!

They even installed some french drains under the patio to help with the water drainage which wasn't even in the original quote!

I would definitely recommend these guys for any future landscaping needs.

In short - wonderful crew, excellent company and the outcome - breathtaking.
Long version - I used agape lawn and landscape service to completely redo our back yard. We did clean up , grading, leveling, drainage, sod and pine straw installation, put line of Virginia arborvitae to cover part of back fence and prepared space under playground. Mike, who we worked during estimates and plans was always on time, knowledgeable and helpful. Jose and the crew that were providing services went above and beyond to make sure from day one to last day we felt confident it will be a success and everything to our liking. They were always punctual, very considered, detail oriented, continuously checking in with us before, during and after day of work. Very responsive to feedback or questions we had. It was overall amazing experience working with the crew. And OMG the outcome!!!!!!! The yard went through such transformation and it’s just stunning. We love it! And everyone who comes is shocked how beautiful it turned out. So if you looking for the right company - Agape should be your choice. We will be definitely using them for our future projects to redo front yard as well.

I do not often write negarive reviews, because I try to see the businesses point of view if things go wrong, but I have to write this review.

We used Agape to install sod in 2022. They did a fantastic job and we were very happy. When we scheduled them to come aerate and seed last fall (2024) and they showed up weeks after we had asked for the service to be completed. We understood that maybe we got on the schedule late or that things ran over, so we let that go. (In the mean time, they do our weed and feed all year and have since the sod was laid - so we are a regular customer.)

This year, we let them know early that we wanted aeration and seeding, but to please put us on the schedule for the very beginning of September. When they had not done the work by mid-September, I called and left a message. I got a return call and was told that they work would be done on September 30th. I let them know that we had asked for it do be done the first week of September and if there was any way to move it earlier, we would appreciate it, but that we would put down that they would come on September 30th. (This was all in an email as well. They sent me an email as a follow up to the phone call and I replied with what I told the scheduler.)

Prior to the 30th, we cleaned the yard up really well, got the leaves and acorns off the lawn and had it ready for them. We have 5 large trees and and by mid-September leaves and acorns have begun falling. The scheduled date came and went with no work done. My husband emailed on October 3rd, when no one had showed up and we had not heard from anyone, and they said that they would be there early the following week and when they had not shown up by 5 pm yesterday (Tuesday), we emailed and cancelled the service.

I understand things not going well one year, but for it to happen 2 years in a row, when we followed up 3 different times, was very dissapointing.

We hired Agape to help re-image our home's landscaping. Specifically, we had them dig and edge 3 tree and 5 plant beds, plant 23 shrubs/flowers, install river rock for drainage purposes and refresh our mulch. Juan and Jose came out to complete the project and worked tirelessly from 9:00a - 7:00p in 80 degree heat. Both Juan and Jose were extremely professional, knowledgeable, customer-focused, friendly and diligent. It was obvious they take great pride in their work as they would often spend time making sure the little items were as perfect as possible. They would even consult me to ensure everything was up to our standard. Bending aluminum edging into a perfect circle around the trees was not easy at all, yet they did whatever was necessary to get it done. Once the project was completed they took the time to clean all areas and essentially leave the outside of our home as it was when they arrived. We are very happy with the final outcome and would recommend Juan and Jose to anyone asking!

Jaime and Jesse, and Armando Did an awesome job cleaning up our over grown yard. I hired Agape to help trim bushes, remove weeds and overgrown shrubs and ivy. The shrubs were getting as tall as our roof and the ivy and weeds were growing into a secret garden situation. 😆 It even rained and that didn’t prevent them from getting the job done. I’m so impressed with their work ethic and attention to detail. The yard is looking great for the holiday season and the perfect blank slate to really dress it up for the holidays.

I have been in NC for eight years now. I’ve been through two other companies prior to Agape for lawn fertilizer maintenance with mixed results. I reached out to Agape and my lawn has never looked better. Great results, competitive pricing and great customer service. Thanks Agape!

Absolutely poor communication + poor service - do not use.

I contacted Agape to do some aeration for reseeding this fall for a small lawn front and back. Their communication was slow to respond and often kept trying to up-sell me on doing a sod installation for thousands of dollars. I typically reseed myself and hire someone to do the aeration. I was going to treat myself this year and have someone reseed for me after aeration. I specifically asked for a scalp mow prior to aeration in my correspondence with them. I was quoted a higher price than most folks off of Nextdoor by a couple hundred dollars but figured I'd give them a try since their reviews were pretty solid. Aeration and scalp mowing is usually around $150-$200 for most smaller yards as the current going rate.

They listed their aeration as "double aeration" (it wasn't). Once they came out their crew did not scalp mow ( which means they are laying seed to compete with what's already on the ground) the only aerated half the spots that I was quoted for. I had to visually scour the yard to see any seed that had been applied. A truly poor execution for the price. I spent the entire weekend going back over their work and putting down seed and fertilizer and covering the seed with pete moss. They also had listed putting down starter fertilizer and straw on bare patches in their quote, but they didn't do either. It appears anything that was put down was by hand and not using a spreader for any of the seeding. I was truly shocked that their level of quality and what it was billed for at twice the going rate, and worse than the people I've used off Nextdoor. an absolutely terrible level of service. I will not being using them again.

I just had my front lawn re-sodded with Fescue from Vandemark Farms. The installation was performed by Ignacio and Christopher. They were extremely well organized and meticulous as they removed the old grass remnants and laid down a new topsoil layer. This was the detailed part of the operation. Laying the sod turned out to be the easier part. They did an excellent clean up, leaving us with a truly good looking new lawn. I am extremely well pleased.

Our yard has been a constant struggle since we moved in ~5 years ago—weeds, patchy grass in areas, etc. We've tried a couple of different companies, but weren't happy with the progress until we found Agape. The transformation has been incredible.

What was once a mix of weeds and bare spots is now the best our yard has ever looked. It wasn’t an overnight fix, but their expertise and dedication has really paid off. Highly recommend!

Excellent service

I needed new sod. I got 3 quotes, and I was impressed with Marcos who instilled confidence & had some ideas about my soil. Flori View did a professional & timely job of installation, and my sod is doing great after 1 month. He is reasonable priced and I recommend him for your landscape projects.

Marcos was communicative, thoughtful, and very committed to making sure that the work we needed done was completed properly and within budget. He and his crew worked hard to fix some significant drainage issues in our yard and built a new retaining wall while also improving the accessibility and usability of our yard. I would absolutely use his crew again for any future projects.

Flori View Landscaping did an OUTSTANDING job with our landscaping project. Communication was very easy and the team was able to knock out the project in one day. Even with the expeditious work, the results were amazing. We are very happy with the mulch, stone edging, and drainage systems added to our yard. They were very flexible with adding additional asks midway through the project. Very impressed.highly recommend and will hire them again for additional projects!

The crew worked non-stop to lay new TifTuf Bermuda turf in 95° heat. Extremely satisfied with the results.
I would highly recommend their services.

They promised to complete out patio for $9,600 by Sept 1, 2025, took a $4,500 check from my wife and refuse to call back or do the job. My attorney will take action soon. DO NOT TRUST THESE THIEVES! What a nightmare...and like I told my wife....NEVER let the contractors get ahead of you on the money. We could have ordered the materials and had them delivered and paid for performance. BUYER BEWARE!!!
