We called Snell Tree Experts to get an estimate to remove our 65" tall Water Oak tree. They were reasonable and we hired them to do the work. They were very respectful of our property and did a fantastic job of removing the tree and grinding the stump. I would definitely hire them again.

Needed a large, white oak tree removed that was 6 ft away from our house. Snell Tree Experts was the only tree service in my vicinity that was able to provide a certificate of insurance. The estimate was appropriate and their work & equipment were excellent. Highly recommend.

Professional start to finish. They came out very quickly after calling for a quote. I Decided to do a couple months down the road and they contacted me and set everything up. The crew that came out was right on time walked around to discuss everything and then did not waste any time. Everybody was focused and working not on their phones and taking breaks. When done they walked around again and made sure I was happy with everything. I was amazed there wasn’t even a single twig on the ground from all the work they did which was some major trimming and grinding everything up. The owner even contacted me later that day to make sure I was happy. If you need tree service I don’t think you can go wrong here.

I've worked with Snell for three projects. One removal of a ~100 foot co-dominant tulip poplar, and twice for planting new trees. Each project was handled with absolute professionalism. They return calls/emails promptly, they show up when they say they will, they do the job well and clean up thoroughly afterward. Highly recommend!

Recently Snell Tree Experts returned to my home for a third job in ten years. As with the first two jobs, Tim came to ask my needs, educate me, and help me decide which 85-foot pines needed to come down. Over the years, many of our pines have fallen in a pattern, and I've had three insurance claims. With some kind of tree infestation and critters underground, it is only a question of which storm will cause more and worse damage. I prioritized protecting roofs over removing some obviously damaged trees that won't cause as much harm when they fall. After I accepted the proposal, Tim and his foreman Ethan came again and spent nearly an hour planning how to proceed. We discussed removing and replacing some fencing, felling one or two trees across the neighbor's yard, and taking down an extra leaner at no expense to facilitate easier and safer removal of the trees that were included in the quote. Ultimately, the fence was untouched and unharmed, the neighbor's yard was cleaned up immediately, and the work took two days. The first day was for "simple" felling of several trees, using ropes to guide how they landed. The second day, the crew used the knuckleboom for precision removal of trees in tighter spaces. Like painting, this job was done with lots of prep work and protection of existing assets. They used very heavy mats to drive equipment over my soft yard. I can see marks but no trenching or skid marks. The driveway, road, and affected parts of the yard were cleaned and raked so that only light sawdust remains. I appreciate the crew's professional demeanor, their obviously excellent training, and their willingness to coordinate schedules and moving of trucks so I could leave when necessary. I highly recommend Snell Tree Experts!

Snell Tree Experts showed up for an evaluation of our large magnolia which appeared to have some sort of disease.

The problem was quickly diagnosed, and the work scheduled. They were excellent at following up and completed the work in a timely manner, despite having to work around our fickle weather.

Arborists are hard to find, but Snell Tree Experts have a certified, licensed individual (owner "Bo" Snell) and they're fully licensed and insured.

Highly recommend.

People ask me if they are reasonably priced. One pays for what they get so I never questioned the bill. Tim and Chris earned and deserved every dollar they billed me for.

This is the 3rd project they have done for me. Why would I call a jackleg crew when Snell tree is available.
Heather in the office kept me informed as to when they would be on site.
