This team is amazing! We needed a full roof replacement in late 2024. Gray and the team walked us through everything, completed the job quickly, and the quality of work is beyond what we expected. The price was very reasonable and the process was stress free. It has been six months and I am still so grateful to Mighty Dog Roofing of South Raleigh.

We worked with Mighty Dog for our roof replacement project and discussed options with Gray (the owner) and Rich (the project manager). Gray's expertise was instrumental in navigating the insurance process, resulting in approval for a complete roof replacement, which exceeded our initial expectations of just half replacement. Gray provided a comprehensive quote and product samples, demonstrating MDR's commitment to quality materials. Their use of top-rated products, as recognized by Consumer Reports, was a key factor in our decision to select MDR over competitors offering alternative brands. The price point was reasonable and within industry standards.

The installation of the Estate Grey architectural shingles, overseen by Rich, was executed efficiently. The team arrived promptly and completed the roof installation within a single day, despite the heat and some strong downpours throughout the day. They employed protective measures, such as debris catchers, to minimize clean-up requirements. The gutter installation was completed the following day, with the overall craftsmanship meeting high standards.

While the roofing team's clean-up was thorough, we noted that the gutter installation team could have been more diligent in this regard. We decided to replace our OG 4" gutters with 6" white gutters with a gutter guard. Follow-up inspection with a magnetic tool revealed a significant number of stray nails, particularly from the gutter installation. As a good rule of thumb, we recommend that homeowners buy a magnet tool (Amazon) and conduct their own post-install inspection to ensure all nails/debris are removed.

MDR demonstrated excellent responsiveness in addressing post-install adjustments, consistently accommodating our requests. I highly recommend Erik, the insurance specialist from Guardian Roofing, for any roofing repairs. In May 2023, my home experienced hail damage affecting both the roof and siding. Erick noted the damage and promptly offered a free estimate. Initially skeptical about unsolicited services, my reservations were quickly dispelled as Eric consistently demonstrated transparency, honesty, and sincerity throughout the entire process.

After a comprehensive assessment of the damage, Erik took the time to thoroughly explain the extent of the damage, patiently addressing all my questions and concerns.

From the initial estimate to filing the insurance claim and even inspecting the final repairs, Erik provided invaluable assistance and guidance. I can't say enough good things about Guardian. They stuck with us during our long three month battle with our insurance company until we were approved for a new roof. They NEVER gave up! Zan, Justin, and River were a pleasure to work with... no pressure the entire process. Installation from demo to cleanup was flawless and the new roof looks awesome! Better yet, we have peace-of-mind with Certainteed's quality roofing system installed. It comes as no surprise that after our second hail storm in our relatively new sub-division and mostly by word-of-mouth, our neighbors overwhelming trusted Guardian to install their new roof... approximately 10 out of the 15 roofs installed in the last 4 months. Update: 11/30/24
Had our dryer vent cleaned and cleaning company said that vent cover on our roof has a screen that is clogged with lint when he ran the camera up there. I called Zan at Guardian Roofing and he sent a team out two days later after Thanksgiving to remove the "critter screen" which we do not need where we live. This was a part of the roof that was replaced when Guardian installed the new roof. We are so impressed by how Guardian followed up so quickly with this concern even after having our roof replaced almost a year ago. Also, the screen is necessary for some homes but we didn't need it. If you leave the screen in, you will need to have the lint removed periodically. I will continue to recommend Guardian to everyone that we know.

The Guardian Roofing team is responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We reached out to Guardian Roofing with a concern about a potential roof leak. I was pleasantly surprised that someone was able to come out the same day to inspect the roof. Bryan Diamond performed a thorough inspection and cleared debris from our roof where rainwater had been pooling. We will be keeping Guardian Roofing in mind for any future roofing needs.

The last roof was done by a jackleg! Didn’t address my roof leak at all . They didn’t install new flashing and disappeared after doing the work.

Erik was our contact with Guardian to replace our roof after storm damage. He was great. He checked on us and the job several times to make sure everything was satisfactory. When there was a small problem after they finished, it was taken care of promptly. Also when the job came up higher than expected,Erik made sure we only paid our deductible. A+ When it comes to customer service. They explained the entire process about how to deal with the insurance claims and supplemental repairs that may have not been covered in the initial report. They communicated with my insurance to get supplemental repairs completed. Very patient with me as it took a while to get the second portion of funds to pay for the remaining balance. We were on the schedule to have our roof replaced and due to adverse weather conditions, it was delayed. Eric Jonsguard my representative drove to my home when I was working and tarped my roof in one my problem areas that was leaking from the previous hailstorm at no extra cost. This is not the type of company that charges you the entire amount of whatever the insurance is willing to pay in case you're thinking that. When they roofed by home it was a very easy process, they completed it in two days no left-over debris or nails. Excellent job on the install as I went on top of my roof the day after they completed the job. Excellent job by all team members!

I contacted Guardian Roofing for a quote to replace my older modular commercial building. The pitch was very slight, requiring a membrane roof such as TPO or EPDM. Bryan gave me a quote and went above and beyond by meeting with my insurance agent to point out the roof damage from hail. River was also a part of that process and both of them were professional and knowledgeable and they were instrumental in getting my insurance to cover some of the cost. Once the quotes came in, Guardian was not the lowest but they were in the middle of the quotes. Even though I ultimately chose the company with a lower price, I wanted to give this review due to Guardian's amazing customer service, honesty and willingness to go above and beyond for their customers. It's really nice to have a good local company with trustworthy employees. They are definitely on my short list to call for my next roofing job!

Overall great experience working with Guardian roofing. They showed up on time, completed the worked as described and were thorough in clean up. I worked directly with Henry. He described the entire process, worked with my insurance company, helped with tile selection and helped set expectations in working with my HOA.

I met Bryan Diamond first and he did a thorough inspection of my barn roof. The estimate was right about what I expected. Owner Zan Wright scheduled the date for repairing the roof and crew leader Benson Mangum with a crew of 4-5 guys did an excellent job repairing and re-roofing my barn. My experience with Guardian Roofing was awesome and I will recommend them confidently. All were courteous, friendly, professional and respectful.
