Gaston Tree just cut down 4 trees for us. 2 in the woods close to our fence and 2 close to our home. Saying they are hardworking experts is an understatement! The precision was amazing! On top of being experts and really good clean up, the cost was lower than 3 other places we called. The owner is really great to work with and showed up when he said he would! We have nothing negative to say and really wish all businesses operated like this.

Even though they originally said they’d be by the following week, they ended up coming the very next day — a pleasant surprise! We had a very large tree on our property line which had recently died. Gaston Tree was in the neighborhood doing a neighbors trees and I walked over and talked with Jeff. I mentioned we were concerned for the kids next door with a dead tree that could fall in their direction at any time. He gave us a very reasonable quote and took care of it that day after an already long day for them. A very professional team! I highly recommend them.

I was needing six very large trees removed that were too close to our house. After getting several estimates I chose Gaston Tree. The owner Jeff was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable of the work. He was also the least expensive of all my estimates. I had a couple 80 plus ft trees that were to close to my house, always worried me during storms especially during wind. They were way too big for me to try and handle. I called Jeff with Gaston tree to get a quote to remove them. He immediately came within the next hour, gave me multiple options and we discussed a plan. He came and completed the job the same week all In one day. Did a very good job, did everything I asked and cleaned up when he was finished. He provided me with a free quote for the project and shared his advice, which gave me options and ultimately resulted in a reasonable quote compared to other companies. I hired them to remove several Leyland trees, grind the stumps, and handle all the debris removal, and they exceeded my expectations every step of the way.

They handled the tree removal safely and efficiently, and the stump grinding was completed with precision. Jeff and his crew are amazing! Excellent communication and went above and beyond what we asked for. We had a very tall dead pine tree that was surrounded by a fence and a pool in the vicinity. He was able to come in and drop it with ease into our back field. No harm to the fence or any property. While he was here we saw a second tree not looking good. This one was much larger. He was unable to get his equipment in the fence but came up with a plan and dropped that tree, between two fences, with ease and again no damage to anything. We didn’t require any clean up as we were just going to leave it for our goats but Jeff and his crew cut up the giant trunk and stacked them to make a playground for the goats to climb on. They picked up all the debris that scattered when the tree hit the ground. We can’t say enough good things about these guys and we will definitely be calling Jeff again for more work in the future!

These guys were great! Super fast and got to my tree as soon as possible! It didn’t take them long at all and they had the whole tree down! They even cleaned up there mess and hauled off the tree! Will definitely call them again if I need them!

Shives tree service was amazing. I had a particularly dangerously large and dead tree that they quickly and safely removed for an excellent price. I also had one other removed the following day the job was done so well!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We had a tree cut down in our backyard that was dying. It was a pine tree that was extremely tall. We are thankful they were able to come out and take care of it before it caused damage. Thank you DJ for being kind and knowledgable!
