Steven Craddock and his team were fantastic to work with. The knowledge and expertise that they brought to the work they performed on our home was simply amazing. One of the pieces we really appreciate was his consultative approach to the work that was performed, rather than just completing the work they took the time to educate us on the best way forward not only for this work but any future work that needed to be performed later.

Steven was extremely easy to communicate with and was prompt with a response to both texts and phone calls. If you are looking for any type of Electrical work in OBX I think his team should be your first call. We will absolutely be using his team in the future for any additional projects.

We needed quite a bit of replacements of old fixtures and a couple of new installs. I called Craddock Electric on a weekday evening thinking I was just going to leave a message and maybe hear back, and he returned my call within 5 minutes! Then he showed up to take a look at everything in 30 minutes! He gave us great advice on what to do and not to do. On the day he was scheduled to arrive, he and his team arrived promptly and did the most wonderful job. He did an install that I thought would have been impossible, and he did it with ease! We were so pleased with the outcome and also with the professionalism of the whole team. We would highly recommend and will be using him again in the future!

Had a great experience with Steven and his team they ran electrical for our new hot tub. Great communication! Even better service! Pricing is in line with contractors in the Richmond area for same work. Cannot recommend enough! Showed up on time and work was done when they said. Had some great pointers for renters as well. 10/10

I called Steve early one morning and he was there that day to help fix it and see what was going on! He took the time to actually show us the issue and explain exactly what was wrong. He is patient, knowledgeable, and extremely kind and if I ever have any other issues he will be the first and only person I would call. He is prompt in his communication and has passion for what he does. Thank you Steve for being awesome at what you do!!

Highly recommended! Mr. Craddock came out and installed a RV hook up for us within two days of contacting. Great work and very knowledgeable.

They were able to start my job on short notice and finish it quickly. Very friendly and their work was done professionally and did some extra work to ensure it was done correctly and looked good. They even discussed options with me and recommended a course of action that saved me money at the expense of them making more money.

Steve and his crew came to my house to fix electrical problem. I got lucky and they were able to get over to my house within 2 hours of me calling. When he arrived he was very professional along with the two others that were there to help him. They did a thorough job of making sure everything was inspected and even took some time to look at some other areas of the house to make sure I wouldn't have any future problems. I would highly recommend Steve and his team to do your next electrical job.

Cannot thank Steven and his family at Craddock Electric enough! From the initial inquiry to installation, Steven was a pleasure to work with. He worked with my budget to get exactly what I needed, so that I could run a welder out of my garage. Left installation with everything done to perfection and cleaned up like they were never there. We had some electrical problems at our Church . We reached out to the company, after searching online, years of experience and reviews, led me to them. I received a call back in a timely manner. Upon arrival very courteous and friendly. They worked to locate the issue and was able to make repairs. I then received a call to follow up on the completed work. They provide very professional service.

Another electrician that had come out the day before told me he would need to cut holes in my ceiling to access the electrical source or whatever.

(Mind you - in the same amount of time the previous electrician had spent in my house just trying to figure out the problem)

What truly made this experience unforgettable was how kind and attentive Mr. Craddock was to my 11-year-old son, who LOVES anything electrical.

He let my son be his “assistant” while he worked, explained what he was doing, showed him everything inside his trailer, and shared real lessons with him.

He wasn’t just fixing an outlet. He was mentoring a future electrician for the day 🥹

My son talked about this experience for days and days. That alone meant the world to me.
