Don't use this company. He charged 3 times more for a well pump than other stores did. The price is not resonable.

WAS OUT OF WATER OVER THE WEEKEND. CALLED CLARCENCE M STANLEY WELL AND PUMP. THEY CAME OUT DIAGNOSED MY PROBLEM AND HAD THE MATERIAL WITH HIM TO REPLACE AND REPAIR MY WATER PUMP SYSTEM. PRICING WAS VERY REASONABLE QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP WAS EXCELLANT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM AND WILL CALL BACK FOR FUTURE WELL OR PUMP NEEDS!

Called to request installing a hand pump to a well and the woman answering the phone asked why don't I just buy a generator. It's not an unreasonable request and responding as if I had a third eye is unprofessional in the extreme. Try no we can't help with that and leave the jokes to comedians next time.

I love that when I called, the owner of the business (Clarence) answered the phone and was friendly and super-helpful. He gave me same day service and his rates were extremely reasonable. This will be my go-to company for any type of plumbing work in the future.

i just wanted to take a second to thank mark for the good work he did, i gave him a call to help me with my pump (that i know nothing about) and he came to my house not even 30 minutes later fixed my pump that same day for a great price. i am thankful their good honest people out there.

I called him on a weekend answered his phone first time I called and came out the same day, I told him my well pump was out and had no water, they fixed my system I had. The price was reasonable the quality of the service was very professional I would recommend this company for any one if you have the same problem or any problems I would give them a call.

Had a pipe break at my well pump. Called them and they came out. Usually, with most companies, if they give you an estimate, they'll knock some of the fee for coming out off because you are using them to do the repair. Not these people. $125 fee to come out. Fixed the pipe in half an hour. A half hour's worth of labor was $175. ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS FOR A HALF HOURS WORTH OF WORK! Let that sink in. And no, it wasn't a weekend nor was it determined an "emergency". Also, the price didn't include the two plastic elbows and approximately one foot of pipe used to repair what was broken. The total bill was over $450 dollars. Don't be the next victim.

In reference to the negative review above, the situation was as follows: We pride ourselves in treating our customers with the best possible level of service available. We have been in business over 60 years. In this instance, the customer wanted a smaller pump than would be sufficient to supply the house. I was explaining this to the homeowner as his spouse was "shopping" on her phone and found a cheaper one (which would clearly not supply the entire home and irrigation system). Our company will not install what we know we can not stand behind, nor will we sell something that we know is the wrong thing. We appreciate the opportunity to earn your business!

Came early on Saturday morning to replace our water heater. Very professional, very knowledgeable, fair pricing and clearly an expert in his profession. Removed old water heater and cleaned up all materials. Left my garage cleaner than it was before he got there. Highly recommend!!

Honestly would take all day to write how pleased I am with Stanley & Son. My water pump & pressure tank both went out on a Sunday morning, called Stanley & Son that day they immediately got back to me. I was in no hurry to so decided to wait till Monday, they got to me at 9am on the dot. They were punctual, professional, they not only took the time to explain what was compromised in my current system but also how I could prevent such inconveniences in the future. I found it refreshing that they’re are still local businesses out here that take great pride in their work, with Stanley & Son does and it shows. I would absolutely recommend these professionals and I will only be calling them for all my future needs. As a first time home owner I appreciated them taking time to educate me, Thanks you!

There are so many wonderful & excellent reviews about this company and family. And I would like to add my wonderful experience to the bunch. Every excellent review that is written about this wonderful company is accurate, reliable and all True. This father and son team are a force to be reckoned with. They went above and beyond in fixing my well (New stainless steel pump, wiring, pipes etc.) and getting it back up and working 10x better than before. And all there wonderful work is guaranteed for 5yrs. I recommend this company over any other well & plumbing company in the triad. Fun fact: people are two to three times more likely to write a negative review than a positive one. With that in mind, it meant a lot to me when I saw T.W. Stanley had only positive reviews and zero negative reviews. And now I understand why.

This past Saturday night our water stopped working. I called T.W. Stanley and was told that Teal Stanley would call me back in a few minutes. Within 5 minutes I received a call and spoke with him about my issue. He said he could come by that night to take a look but we agreed it would be better to come by first thing in the morning. Sunday morning Teal, his son, and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would. They diagnosed the issue and wrote me an estimate on the spot. My well pump, tank, and switch all needed to be replaced. We agreed on a cost and they began immediately. They had all of the tools, parts, and knowledge with them and didn’t need leave to get anything. They arrived at 8:30am on Sunday morning and they were done by 12:30pm. The entire time they were professional, respectful, and patient with me and my questions. Before they left, Teal gave me his cell number and told me to call if there were any issues.

The next day, Monday evening, our water went out again. I called his cell just after 5:30pm. First, he answered immediately, secondly, him and his son arrived at my house before 6:00pm to troubleshoot the system. They discovered that the new pressure switch was faulty and replaced it right there and then, obviously at no cost. When turning the water back on, a pipe down the line had sprung a leak, something they had nothing to do with, and they repaired it immediately, again, at no cost to me.

If you were to ask me if I’d recommend them I would say “Absolutely!”

Yesterday morning our water stopped running altogether. We’re on a well in rural Chatham County, after doing some preliminary troubleshooting I realized I needed to call an expert. I initially spoke to Mrs. Stanley (it’s a family owned company, no relation to me) and her husband called me soon thereafter. He and his son showed up after finishing another job and diagnosed and fixed the problem in a matter of hours. Very professional and honest in their work, if I have any issues in the future I will definitely be calling again!
