Spoke with Jan about an issue with a brand new electric dryer from LG that I received just a few days ago recently stopped heating to dry my clothes. He saved me time and money by explaining the situation to me so that I can try a few things to test the power and reach out to the dryer warranty company to handle the situation. His advice was greatly appreciated!

Did not tell us when he was stopping by our warehouse despite multiple texts, shows up unannounced, and then charges us for a 15 minute service call, without disclosing that there is an estimate fee prior to arrival.

Very unprofessional, claimed that we "agreed to a service call fee" by calling him, even though he never disclosed anything about a fee, and did not actually perform any service after we called. No contract was signed, no work was done, he just looked at our electrical panel.

For anyone who doesn't know: lots of companies do free estimates, evidently he is not one of them. Also, if there is a "service call fee" companies disclose their fees for service upfront, Jan chose not to do that. He instead tried to take advantage of our company because we were an "industrial" client (as he put it).

Jan is a very knowledgeable and hard-working man. Professional, resourceful, and experienced, as well. He is licensed in 3 states, and does both residential and industrial work. At the office facility where I work, he has undertaken many projects including wiring new outlets, repairing old ones, installing, repairing, and/or replacing inside and outside lighting, monthly water heater inspections (electric and gas), and even repair of a couple of our doors. With many years of experience, there's not much he can't do.

Jan is an amazing man. Friendly, knowledgeable, hard-working... He gave us a very reasonable price for our project and did a very good and professional job. Strongly recommended.

Nice little shop, swung by to pick up a capacitor for my AC unit. The fellow was very friendly and helpful in finding what I needed.

Best electrical supplier in town! These guys have always gone out of there way to get me the materials I need to run my business. They have a large stock of material and if they don’t have it they have always tried to get it same day.

The employees are kind and knowledgeable of their products. I came with a broken Klein tool that I purchased from them and they had no problem exchanging it. Through conversation about our trade, I ended up purchasing quite a few more tools and was pleased with the customer service. To top it off CES provided hot dogs and chips as a complimentary lunch. This new Harrisburg branch is much more convenient, and my business with them will continue!
