City Electric Supply High Point NC

City Electric did a great job taking over the old Pointer Electric. Good selection for inventory.

Let me start off by saying that this establishment is as fine as they come.
The sheer amount of time and dedication that each employee puts in to customer care is absolutely astonishing! We have recently moved to High Point from up North. I have heard such good thingS about City Electric Supply from my years in Connecticut. So much to my surprise i was overjoyed to find one right in my back yard. I visited the store early last Wednesday morning. As soon as i walked in the door, i was met by warm smiles and pure hospitality. I made the trip to City Electric for some information and advice on a newly renovated space at my home. I believe the gentlemen that helped me first was named Tracy, and let me tell you something...... just an absolute joy to be around, he is just a wealth of knowledge on electrical supplies. We talked for quite some time, discussing plans for my next project. The materials needed, the cost (which was top notch), and the warranty on a few select items. Told me he was from up North also. So that in itself sparked a whole other conversation. It was a joy speaking with him about "home" discussed food, wine, our favorite restaurants to visit when we go back home. It was great to reminisce about thing you take for granted. He soon had to get back to work helping some other patrons. So i bid him adieu, we shook hands and he went on his way.
The next gentleman to assist me was i believe Mike. Also full of comprehension, pertaining to electrical supplies. Mike was possibly the nicest human i have ever met. Just a soft spoken highly intelligent refined man. A complete joy to be around. Not to mention we both enjoy a nice ice cold Dr Pepper. Which we both shared as we spoke.
We had some difficulty finding a certain outside light fixture i need for my project. For that they called in the "big guns". Paul who i quickly found out was a master at his craft. Which is locating material and getting it into the customers hands. An all around delight to work with. He found what i was looking for and let me know it should arrive within a week. I was ecstatic because this has been a light i had been looking for, for quite some time. But much to my surprise Paul came to the rescue. Thanks again Paul. Much appreciated!
After my delightful visit at the store a few younger nobleman Cody, John and Tim helped me load all my material into my vehicle. Which to that i was very grateful. Tried to offer them a tip for their kind gestures but they kindly and respectfully refused, they left me with a few final words..."we're just here to help". They thanked me and told me they hope to see me again.
I will undoubtedly be back to this store. These guys are amazing. They take the time to listen and actually care about the customers needs. Which is an anomaly is todays world.

A random call for materials led to a wonderful experience. I’m visiting, not from around here. Big box stores didn’t have what was needed. City Electric supply provided all of my needs at a price that was better than where I live. The store was easy to find and well stocked with components and tools. Thanks all.
