Sean has done a ton of tree work for us, we are a construction company but he does all the tree work we need. Sean is more than professional and can handle anything possible regarding big trees! Thanks Sean!

Sean and his crew did an excellent job on removing a very large maple tree that was close to our house. The speed at which the tree was dismantled was amazing, and the precision of its removal was most impressive. We have a very narrow driveway lined with mature holly trees and a limited turn around space at the end, near the house. The turn around area is lined with flowers I have planted over the years, some of which are starting to encroach on the driveway. I thought for sure some of the flowers would be trampled by the crew's sizable crane, the stabilizing feet of which were by necessity positioned inches from the plants. Almost hard to believe but not a single stem was bent or broken by the crew, nor were any of the ornamental plants planted around the base of the tree itself harmed! This is a clear indication to me that the Sean's crew really care about the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their customers!

Sean and his team were absolutely great to work with. Easy to schedule, great communication, they did a great job taking down ELEVEN trees that needed to come down in our back yard, and they cleaned everything thing up. They prioritize safety and were affordable. Definitely would recommend them and use them again.

The HOA hired the tree crew to do some work around the neighborhood - excellent service! Very communicative beforehand, and when needing to reschedule work due to weather. Thorough assessment, trimming, removal, and clean up. Really helped to tidy up the neighborhood!

We were so pleased with the work that Sean and his team did! They took out several trees, cleaned up, and left things looking like they were never there for a very reasonable price. It was also fun watching Sean scale the tall trees!

I had a few older old trees needing removal but was worried about younger growth nearby what with heavy equipment and all - Sean and his team are experts. My lot is safe and my younger trees were protected - I recommend this team for any tree service you might need!

Sean and his team did an AMAZING job for me in removing a very large oak tree from my backyard. They had to crane it over my house and process it in my front yard. They even cut up some wood for me to keep and they cleaned up all of the debris. They were fast, on time, easy to communicate with, gave me an affordable price, and deserve the highest rating!!
It is truly a shame that my neighbor Susan Elvin left a two star review because that has more to do with her relationship with me than with the tree service. They are fussy neighbors that complain about everything and everyone. Please do not let this in any way reflect on the high quality of service that Sean and his team provide. To note these neighbors have been after me since the day I moved in to have this tree removed as they were concerned it would fall on their house. I truly don't understand why they would complain about a few small branches that fell on their side of the fence.

Sean is very punctual, professional, and a delightful person to do business with. I must say he really goes above and beyond to make sure everything you requested is fulfilled. He told me from the start his goal was to make our yard appear as if they were never here other than trees gone . He and his crew did just that. I will be recommending him to friends and family. You can’t go wrong with MacNeela’s tree service .

Sean and team removed 2 large trees and one small. One large one was hanging over our house near our neighbors driveway. I have not experienced such a professional service on any home repairs etc in about 30 years. I'll rate the job as perfection - from each tree cut and haul away to the street for grinding to yard clean up including blowing the leaves off the grass. I would not hesitate to use their service for any tree removal. We have already recommended them to our neighbor!

Sean is fantastic. He was doing some work for a neighbor and I had an extreme significant amount of debris on my property. I walked over, asked him for a quote and he gave me an extremely fair quote to remove all of it.

He came over a couple days later, knocked it out before lunch, and was able to do it all without messing up any of my grass 🏆.

10/10 would work with again.

Sean MacNeala and his crew are amazing! In July 2024, Sean removed 3 large trees from our property for a reasonable price. He showed up to do the work just as he said, even with equipment failures. He got the job done and kept our property safe. MacNealas came highly recommended to us, and we have since recommended him to others.

We had a large tree job done at our house and couldn’t be more impressed with Sean and his crew! They were extremely prompt and some of the hardest workers we’ve ever hired. The amount they accomplished in such a short time was incredible, and they left everything cleaned up beautifully afterward. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work. Highly recommend to anyone needing tree work done. We would absolutely use them again!

I did not personally use this tree service but my neighbor did. They left a lot of branches, some of which you could see cut marks from the saw, and sticks in our yard. It took two of us close to an hour to clean it up. There were also sticks and sawdust all over our deck and in our bushes which took more time to clean up. No attempt was given to get anything out of our yard. I would have given one star but they did manage to not damage our fence when taking down the tree.

I am not contradicting all the positive reviews, however, BEWARE if you just looking for tree trimming. MacNeela's came to the commercial property where I work. They were supposed to do tree trimming, but rather than trimming the branches back that had grown to close to the building, they took the branches with the entire limbs of the trees. (I can see how this was much more convenient as they could just drag away the limbs and put them into their big machines.) Many of the trees look awful now and, most importantly, this approach to tree trimming is detrimental to the tree's health. Since they cut the limbs right at the trunk, there is no chance that any will grow back. These limbs with remaining branches were needed to support the tree and there was absolutely no reason to amputate them (other than convenience). I was shocked and pained to see what happened to our trees.

If you are sure that you have a tree that needs to be removed, Mac Neela's may be a good choice. I can confirm that they worked fast and cleaned up. However, I give them only a 1-star review because I cannot with good conscience recommend a tree service that shows no understanding about maintenance of tree health and to my eye has little sense for aesthetics.
