Reached out to them twice for an estimate and never got a call back.

I had used Gateway in the past and was pleased. However the experience this time was horrible. The kid that came out to give an estimate was late and apparently didn't know how to use Goggle Maps. When he did finally get there he opened the truck door and the smell of marijuana poured out of the truck. Then the estimate was $1300.00 more than a local competitor . Needless to say we went with the other company. I wish I could give them ZERO stars.

Well, I stopped by and talked to a lady who said someone would call and come by to measure for estimate.....but it has been a week and I have not heard a word from them. So I'll just have to look elsewhere I guess. Disappointing

I’m working with Kevin right now and he is wonderful to work with. Very nice and prompt! I got a quote back in December and now we are getting ready to schedule.

I was looking to get an estimate for a fence on my new build house. I was scheduled to have an estimate with Joey last Friday. He called me a few hours before to reschedule to Monday. We scheduled to meet on Monday, and he never showed for the estimate. I called/txted a few times and no reply. No heads up he wasn’t going to come. I would not recommend this fence company to anyone in the Charlotte area.

This is a horrible fence company. No return emails, no responses. Does not seem to care about their customers. Complete joke!

Seemed like nice guys but took a lot of effort to get them to come out. It took even more effort to get a quote after they did look at what I wanted them to do. After requesting a quote several times, they gave me an outlandish quote ($1550) to replace two wooden fence posts and two wooden diamond rails. I went and bought the materials from Home Depot for <$60. They also quoted a brand new aluminum fence for $9400. Not sure who is doing their estimation but they are way off. It was a complete waste of time.

Gateway installed a split rail fence in my backyard and did a fantastic job. Lamar took care of everything and had his team knock through the work in one day. Price was great and we're very happy with the quality of materials and installation.

As a builder, I've had the pleasure of dealing with Lamar's Fencing on several occasions over the years. Markum and his team are one of the most reliable and hardest working vendors I deal with during construction. On every occasion, the quality, service, price, and communication have always been great. Highly recommend.

Lamar and his crew Installed approximately 400 feet of wood fence , 1/2 privacy and half 4-rail with wire for me almost 4 years ago, all of the posts are still straight, the gates still work perfectly, and I have not replaced even one board yet. They do quality work for a reasonable price and they are fantastically nice and courteous.I highly recommend them.

Kevin was fantastic to work with, the install team was hard working and professional. I had a vinyl fence installed and looks marvelous!! I would recommend this company to anyone needing fence work! Thanks so much Gateway team...

Gateway Fencing did a fantastic job on my fence. It was a two day job to complete my fence. The owner was there on day one to check on the progress and workmanship of the install. Once the entire fence was completed, he walked the entire fence with me and we discussed some of the sections. My yard was very difficult in that there are many unlevel areas and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I had an issue with a current fence in a different area I thought I was going to have to replace. The owner took a look at it and told me it would be a simple fix saving me the money I thought in would have to spend on a replacement.

I can't say enough good things about Gateway Fencing!!! I would describe Gateway Fencing as . . . high quality, reasonably priced, very quick, honest and professional, and very accommodating.

They did an excellent job on our fence! We have a very steep hill in our yard, as well as rocky ground, utility lines, a creek, and a lot of overgrown trees . . . so it was a difficult job. The fence looks perfect! They scheduled me in quickly and worked tirelessly to get the fence in. Every member of the team (from the person answering the phone to all the men working on the fence) was professional and kind. The price was very reasonable. They also accommodated our last minute request to put an extra gate in.

Gateway Fencing was not the first company I called to ask about getting a fence . . but all the companies I called at first were booked for months. In the end, I'm SO glad none of the other places I called were available! Thank you, Gateway Fencing!

This company has gone ABOVE and BEYOND ! My first day I had a rocky situation but Kevin and his team really stepped up and took care of everything, even more than they had to. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. They remember what customer service is all about. Thanks Gateway Fencing!!!

The initial meeting was great. Kevin came out and helped figure out what fencing would look best. He never provided an emailed quote after and he stopped responding all together. NOT PEOFESSIONAL and NOT RESPONSIVE. Terrible customer service.

I am very happy with the work done on my fence. I have a 10 foot fence that was severely damaged from a tropical storm earlier this year. Kevin was able to get his crew out as soon as I was ready. They completed the job in one day and the quality of the work is outstanding.

It's unfortunate I compose this message without knowing how they operate if they are hired. When we first contacted this company in Dec. 2021, the surveyor went to our home and took measurements. He advised that the estimate will be emailed within 24 - 48 hours. We did not receive the estimate within that timeframe. I communicated with the surveyor, and it was emailed. We decided not to purchase the fence due to the cost. A few changes transpired and we decided to communicate with this company again to have the surveyor take measurements. I replied to the email and did not receive a response. My wife went to their office in-person and spoke with a woman who stated that the surveyor could possibly be at our home that day or he would contact me. They never followed up and I emailed again. They responded with an apology, and I replied to inquire when they can send someone out. They never replied and I called their office and left a voice message. Still, no response or call back. I gave this company numerous opportunities and it's evident that they are too busy, or simply pick and choose jobs that's financially beneficial. I do not recommend this company due to the lack of communication. I will be looking elsewhere to find another company that will be responsive and have respect for their prospective customer.
