Landscaping reviews in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina

Excellent! Beyond expectations or hopes. Amazing work

Extremely professional, hardworking, and knowledgeable of the work at hand. Would recommend Yard Rescue to anyone looking to turn their property into something to be proud of.

Yard Rescue has been doing my landscaping for several years. Always do a good job and are easy to communicate with.

Yard rescue trimmed a very large live Oak that had gotten into the power line to the house.
Not only did they rearrange their schedule to get it done before renters were coming, but they also did an outstanding job.
I will use them every time I need something done

Yard Rescue did an amazing job bringing my yard back to life! Not only were they very professional, but they had amazing communication. I highly recommend Yard Rescue.

James and his team did awesome work on my over grown lawn for a great price!! 10/10 would recommend!!

Have used James for managing the lawn in my Airbnb. He’s very honest, responsive and professional. He takes excellent care of our home and ensures the curb appeal is amazing. Thank you James!

James is great! We finally decided to get some extra help in our yard, which came in especially handy this rental season. Recommend him to my clients for their yard needs.

James with Yard Rescue has been instrumental in keeping my yard and access to my Airbnb neat and tidy. He has helped with clearing some wild areas and even helped with stepping stones on my walkways. He is honest, hardworking and a great communicator.

Our mower had broken and we had let the grass grass grow out of control. A neighbor recommended James at Yard Rescue and I contracted James to mow our yard the next time he did our neighbors.

James was on time and professional. I recommend James at Yard Rescue for your lawn needs.

Needed pruning and cleanup on my trees, bushes and other vegetation on my property. Yard Rescue was recommended by others. I contacted Yard Rescue and James DeGroff responded and made several recommendations based on my yard needs. The work was completed in a timely manner at a reasonable price. I would definitely use Yard Rescue again and recommend them for someone else’s yard needs.

This crew takes such great care of our lawns!!! Living out of town can be stressful but knowing you have a reliable lawn care team that makes my properties shine helps tremendously! I can’t recommend them enough!!

We use Yard Rescue for our property in Kill Devil Hills. James has been very professional and reliable. He does a great job with our lawn. We would recommend him to anyone looking for great lawn care.

Fantastic company to work with. Just bought a house and they were one of the only companies to even call us back. Got sod down just in time before winter for our dogs, freshened the flower beds, and rock landscaping.
Can't wait to have them come back out in the spring.

James goes above and beyond to work with our tricky schedule, not to mention he does beautiful work. We couldn’t be happier with the results

Just started using Yard Rescue for lawn maintenance. They are cost effective, efficient &
do a great job. I couldn’t be happier with their service. I highly recommend them for all your
lawn care & landscape needs.

Installed new sod in the fall of 2023. We’ve asked Yard Rescue to manage it ever since. While the zoysia is still getting fully established, it’s looking great in less than 9 months and our tenants (with small children) are loving it. We’ve followed all of James’s recommendations and it has paid off nicely.

Working with Yard Rescue has been a great experience. James keeps are yard looking beautiful. I’m so happy we found him. He is trustworthy and very professional. Highly recommend!

After reaching out to Yard Rescue, James got in touch promptly. He came out and discussed our desires and told us his plan to bring our yard up to the level we desired. We terminated a contract with our existing service and James took over. The work he performed was quite exemplary. But there are many facets to running a business and as a small business owner myself I take all aspects to heart. James performed 3 services at our Nags Head home, one was a large mulch job. After his third visit to our home we received a text message where he informed us he was cutting us as his clients. He had no referral for us to reach out to and no notice of his intent to no longer perform services for us. I responded to his text where we were “fired” in hopes of having a conversation with him but I never received a response. My truth in this review is we were impressed by the work he did and were not offended with his pricing but we caution you if you’re in the market for someone actually committed when they commit to your job/project.

James from Yard Rescue has been servicing our lawn for about 18 months. The difference has been phenomenal, it went from patchy grass with weeds to a lush green lawn. James is professional and responsive to any inquiries. I would highly recommend using Yard Rescue for your lawn care needs.

I highly recommend Yard Rescue. We have used a number of landscaping companies over the years, and none have been as conscientious or helpful. I had a big job that was done quickly and professionally. We will definitely use them to maintain the lovely work they did!
