Tree reviews in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina

Albemarle did a great job of removing a very large, very tall oak tree that was only 10 feet off our deck. Due to fences (see pic), adjoining properties, and proximity of the tree to the house and deck, had to crane it over top of house. Had the right equipment to remove it from site and grind down the stump. Considering the complexity of the job more than fair price.

Removed about 13 huge pines from around our house. Albemarle Landscapes personnel are very knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Additionally they have the equipment to tackle any size job. I would strongly recommend Chase Patterson/ Albemarle Landscapes to anyone in need of these services. Definitely a 5 star company!

I was very impressed with their work! When I got home the the yard was clean, my driveway had been swept off and it was just left in the best possible manner that they could have done it. They went above and beyond and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Great job!

Chase and his crew did a wonderful job trimming several trees at our home. Friendly, professional and prompt, the guys did a perfect job. I will definitely call Albemarle Landscapes and Tree services again!

What a ripoff! They came out, looked at our property and said what we wanted done "..should be a full days job..." and then quoted a price of $2400.00. I thought it was very high and told them so but in the end I reluctantly agreed to let them do it. They came out, did a good job and left in less than 3 hours - I asked for some concession as part of the reason I reluctantly agreed was that it was to be a full days work. They declined offer a payment plan. Over $800. per hour is highway robbery in my opinion so I strongly suggest doing your homework (as I did not, get a number of quotes) before you hire these people.
In your response you said you did reduce your quote but you failed to say it was - from $2500 to $2400 - big deal. I did not want a payment plan I wanted a fair price! In the contract I signed there was, as you say no mention of how long the job would take - but ask your employee if he told my wife "... this is pretty much a full day job.." Then you come in and are done in LESS THAN 3 HOURS - or $800 per hour.

Not good, not fair.

Took care of all my storm related tree damages from Matthew and did a great job in a timely manner. Answered all my questions and stayed in contact with me through entire process, both by phone and email. Made very helpful suggestions. Thank you Chase and Lindsey for your service. Chase even brought my dogs home when he saw them on a walkabout in the Village and knew they shouldn't be loose.

Chase and his crew worked closely with our HOA to comply with community landscaping regulations removing and trimming trees on our property. Very pleased with their professional work, on time and a good value. Steve and Sue Green, Corolla,NC

Albermarle Landscape did an awesome job in beautifying both my front yard and back yard! They laid down the most beautiful patio which is my favorite! Both myself and my husband could not have been more pleased with the work and professionalism.
Highly recommended!

I couldn't be more disappointed in this company. We spent $12,000 on sod in 2020 and signed up for yard service. The initial install went well (hence the two star review), but follow up service and communication was non-existent. We watched our new sod deteriorate and turn into mud. My wife called too many times to count to try and brainstorm solutions and ask for help. That is the whole point of hiring a landscaping company right? Ultimately it was decided we needed to trim trees to let in light. We agreed and signed contracts. We were told last fall we would get top priority due to the issues and they were sorry. Here we are in May and after several direct phone calls we are now being told they will get to us in June for the promised tree work. No thank you

Cory and his team did a great job completely overhauling my backyard! They turned a barren wasteland into a cozy oasis. The stonework for the custom firepit is exquisite, and Cory even thought of creative ways to save money. The crew was polite, professional, arrived and left on time. Looking forward to working with them, again!

Albemarle Landscapes & Tree service has taken care of our "yard" for over 6 years. We have retained them for Spring & Fall cleanup as well as monthly trimming, weed control & clean up during the summer season. Additionally, any extra care that the landscaping may need during the year is just a call away! The crew does a great job & is extremely reliable.
The tree service is also top notch. The crew is knowledgeable, with an eye to aesthetics. Meticulous cleanup.
Chase Patterson & wife Lindsey run a well oiled machine that can be counted on to deliver!

Chase and Albemarle did a great job. I highly recommend them for any of your landscaping needs. They installed a new driveway, irrigation, and sod and turned out amazing.

Corey and his crew did an amazing job installing a large paver patio around a new pool. The attention to detail was outstanding. The project was completed on time and on budget. Great customer communication throughout the project. They also are a very good reliable weekly lawn service and do fantastic tree work. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Chase, George and his team are excellent as well as Kristie in the office. Their patience with our vision and quality of work is not matched in todays businesses as well as OBX in general. From debris/tree removal to our new irrigation system, palm trees installed and a general over haul of the entire property we can’t wait to sit back, relax and enjoy the newly created atmosphere.

Great job! Highly recommended!

Chase and his team showed up to work when they arrived at our home! They had the right tools, knowledge and did a phenomenal job of removing large dead trees and overgrown shrubs. Each worker was meticulous, efficient and safe in their work habits. The pricing was fair and competitive. I highly recommend this company!

Albemarle Landscapes and Tree Services did an excellent job of trimming my trees away from my roof as well as other trimming. The crew worked continuously and when finished did a remarkable job of clean up. The yard was cleaner when they completed the job, than when they started. Thanks guys!

Cory and his team did a great job installing our coastal pier posts. The team was meticulous from install through the clean up. Thanks guys, job well done!

Albemarle Landscapes absolutely transformed our property and actually understood our vision perfectly. They were punctual, polite, efficient and thorough. They actually enjoyed their work, which is a rarity these days. Someone not only answers the phone in their office, but is pleasant as well. Kudos to Dane for a job well done! I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed!

What a great group of people! While they are not inexpensive, they do a great job! We had contracted them to remove a Live Oak that was located in a very tight space, between a house and a fence. As well as 4 large Live Oaks that needed major pruning, and their canopies raised.
We have a relatively large yard, with a lot of established landscaping. From beginning to end, they outperformed their duties. When they were finished, our yard was cleaner than before they started, and ALL of our landscaping was left unscathed! I highly recommend this company for tree care, and I will absolutely use them for future needs.

Chase and his team are INCREDIBL! Everyone on the team was friendly, and it was enjoyable watching them work. They were all efficient, safety oriented and very knowledgeable. They removed two pines from one of our flower beds in our yard and ground the stumps. They were extremely conscious of the flowers, bulbs, and my wife's favorite gardenia bush and were very particular not to damage any of them. They did an outstanding job of cleaning up afterwards also. I highly recommend them and the work they do. I will definitely get them back to do more work in the future.

Albemarle did a great job for my family trimming back my neighbors trees that were draping over my property. They were very professional, showed up on time, provided an estimate prior and cleaned up after work was completed. It was very helpful to me as it is less raking and made sure no pests can jump to my roof. Thanks again guys.
