Just over six months ago Richard and his crew were working in a neighbors yard. They dropped a huge pine tree across the fence and hedge around my property doing extensive damage. Rather than coming to get me in the house, they decide to try to clean it up quietly before I noticed it I guess. Richard promised, that he would take care of it all. After six months of repeated phone calls and zero responsiveness from this guy, I can honestly say I would not recommend that anyone ever do business with him. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this guy.

Yard was tore up by these people. They hid piles of trash in various parts of the yard so they wouldn't have to walk down to my burn pile as we had agreed upon. They left sticks and twigs everywhere that I had to clean up so I could mow the grass. They do not take pride in their work and are not worth a single dime of money I paid them.

This isn’t Darrells tree service address. They used to live here. We’ve had numerous angry customers beating our door down looking for the Mr.Steed. I can’t speak on his help but he is a crook known in tyro area and Lexington as a crook. Do not use him.

Stay away. They'll show up at your door, do some work, and then ask if you'll give a partial payment with a promise to be back the next day. I didn't lose too much, but did pay more than I ever should have. And then never heard from them again. They won't answer the phone, won't respond to voicemails or texts. If you see these guys, run, don't walk, in the other direction. The anonymous good reviews you might see? Had to have been written by themselves.

The tree guy didn’t finish the job as agreed upon. I’d like you to finish the work and remove the larger lower limbs on the other oak. We can talk tomorrow at 9:30. Would like it done by wed . Talk mon. Thanks

From a customer I priced some work for these guys never finished and got paid for the work. Now the homeowner wants me to finish the shady work.. don’t hire the guys

Did good work taking down 3 white pines in back yard. Had 2 crews and had all down and cleaned up in 4 hours. Good job. But proposal specified grinding stumps out by a certain date. Since he seemed like a "standup guy" I paid in full with his promise to come back and grind the stumps. He didn't come and has not responded to voice mails I left him. .............Later: got him and he came today and did a good job in the wet freezing cold! I would recommend him.

Uphold their contract. They told my husband they were going to the store and would be back. They never come back. They suckered us. We called their office and several occasions and wa told they would take care of it. Yeah right! Can't trust them. Going to write up review for Better Business Bureau. They have messed with the wrong lady. You have to let these people know that this is not the way to treat people. Darrell Steed You might have to give us more money than the money we gave you.

We had an appointment at 9am for an estimate on getting some trees taken down. At 9:33 I called both Darrells and his wife's phone and left messages on both, asking if they were coming or not. At 11:30, after no response, I called both numbers again. Darrell finally called my husband back at 6pm. NO! we won't be using your services and we certainly will not recommend someone that doesn't call or show up at all. That is very poor business on your part. Thanks for wasting our time.

These folks came by knocking on the door and we had some trees we needed out not close to the house. They gave us us quote that fit our budget and they did the work. We saw some negative reviews online, but for us they did a terrific job, including clean up. We didn't want to pay for hauling logs out of a corner in the woods, but they did all the clean up with the branches, hauled to the street for pickup by the town They were polite and very fast. We asked them to come by again in the fall. We did pay them in cash, but it was agreed that no $ until the job was done. We would hire again

I hired Darrell's Tree to remove 2 trees from my front yard. He was on time and very respectful of my property. Only 3 hours later they had completed the job and did excellent job of cleaning up. Would hire them again.

I had Darrell's Tree Service remove several large oaks around my home and overhanging the roof. Plus I wanted a willow oak topped out but Darrell advised me that it's not healthy for the tree. So he suggested doing a weight reduction and trim, thin, and deadwooding the tree to safeguard the home. He said "I'm here and can do it but I don't recommend it. I am here to satisfy the customer though." I am very satisfied and will continue to recommend them to others. Thanks to Darrell and his crew for a great job!

Highly recommend! They did an awesome job. Very courteous and quick! There was no complaining or anything among the crew. They got here, did the job efficiently and thoroughly! Great job guys! Keep up the good work!
