My neighbors had Richard install a large paver patio and do tons of drainage work. They were very pleased so I asked Richard for a quote to install a 600 sqft. paver patio in my backyard. He installed it in 3 days and it is awesome! One thing to note, Richard STAYS ON EACH JOB UNTIL IT IS DONE. His pleasant demeanor, honesty, 29-year tenure in Charlotte doing landscaping, and his commitment to completing the work made choosing Richard Laney Landscaping a no-brainer. We love our new outdoor space and can’t wait to use it this summer!!!

Fantastic experience with Laney Landscaping. Put in a couple of paved paths and a small seating area for us with a few plants and mulching. Crew were fantastic from start to finish. Scheduling and communication with the back office was always prompt and courteous and Richard himself is a great guy to work with. Honestly couldn't be happier with the company and quality of work. Highly highly recommend to anyone considering landscaping / hardscaping

Richard and his crew did an excellent job on our paver walkway and patio! Richard suggested installing a drainage area with river rocks and it looks great and does the job! Highly recommend this company. Richard and Amelia were a pleasure to work with. I’d give them both a ten!

Richard and his team did a great job with our lawn. They took care of several drainage issues that were present when we recently purchased our home. They were very timely and had to work around weather but kept the project on track! They even fixed a landscape wire that another contractor had not properly installed. In addition, they mulched beds, planted shrubs/trees and added landscape lights on our mature trees. We are pleased with the workmanship.

My wife and I had an idea for expanding our paver patio. Richard took our idea, improved it, and brought it to life. Richard and his crew were great, did the work as promised AND when promised. Richard and his team provided the experience we had always hoped to have with a contractor.

We found Richard Laney Landscaping on what now feels like a stroke of luck in one of those monthly home improvement circulars that typically goes straight from the mailbox to the garbage. Within three days of our first contact, we had met with Richard and had a quote, a plan and a start date. Even with the tight deadline we had given him, he and his team went well out of their way to make sure our project was completed in time for a large backyard gathering we had been planning. Throughout the whole process, his crew was courteous, considerate and professional, and his office manager was prompt and highly responsive. With his 3 decades of experience, Richard applied his own expertise throughout the project by recommending improvements that dramatically enhanced our backyard’s outcome without substantially increasing the cost. We now have a backyard we enjoy and admire every day.

With landscaping projects like ours, results do speak for themselves, and Richard saw to it that ours exceeded expectations while coming in under budget, but I have to say that the whole experience of working with Richard Laney Landscaping was pleasant and gratifying. I can’t recommend Richard highly enough and will likely be a client of his again for my next landscaping project.

Richard came with a load of ideas from the start. He and his crew were prompt and did excellent work. And they are very neat, from the use of their heavier equipment to the cleanup afterward. Our project was relatively small but the company provided its full attention to it. I would definitely recommend them for any project you have in mind.

I was a Mason for 30 years. I started digging a footing across the back of my property for a stone garden wall. I realized I'm am too old with a bad back to do this type of work anymore. I had Richard come out and look at what I was wanting to do. I hired him to do the wall. His crew did an excellent job and went above and beyond to give me exactly what I wanted. They are very nice people and I am very pleased.

Fantastic experience! We were a little worried as we have had bad experiences in the past with landscapers, but throughout the initial meeting and multiple planning meetings, Richard and Amelia proved to be communicative, responsive, and knowledgeable. We were very impressed throughout the entire process. We did a large landscaping project that included multiple areas of hardscaping, retaining wall, stone steps down a steep hill, stone firepit, irrigation, and lighting. Richard communicated with us throughout the entire process, allowing us to make modifications as necessary to achieve our desired outcome. He was professional and reliable. We'd use him again in the future - no doubt!

Recent job for stone work and sod placement. We are very happy. Affordable and fast. They also pay attention to detail since I had some decorations buried in some brush they removed. Communication was also easy about what I wanted and what to expect. They don’t call for you to mark your priority so make sure to do that beforehand. Payment was also easy I did both cash and Venmo.

I had a leak in my water box out at the street level. Jonathan and Malachi called and said they were coming by and they arrived quickly just started working. I wasn't even sure if they would call me back as many do not. They understood my issue and got to work immediately. Never charged me to come out either. They diagnosed the issue and came back a few days later and found that my water issue is on the side of the County even though we were consuming the water. Jonathan called Stanly Cty water who then came out and fixed the leak. All I owe to Flow is their labor to diagnose the issue. Nothing extra and no games or BS. Flow Co is quick, professional and work very hard and want to do right by the customer. I am glad they came and I would call them again in a heartbeat for anything plumbing related. I strongly recommend these guys. They know what they are doing.
