I have never actually used their services before. The reason I am taking time out of my day is because I was stuck behind one of their white pickup trucks today and the driver was either drunk, or really bad at texting while driving. I watched as they swerved from one side of the road to the other. Tires crossed over the double yellow on the left and swerved back when they saw traffic coming and touched the grass on the other side a few times. This was around 7:35 today 4/13/21 on Smithfield road heading into Wendell in case any managers are interested.

These guys are super nice, pleasant to be around and get the job done. Paul and his guys came out to run a 220 line for me and ended up doing more than I asked them to and it didn’t end up costing much more. I love finding local honest companies. Will definitely be using them again. Highly recommended

Paul came and installed 3 new outlets in our home. The job was done in a timely manner and the quality of work is excellent! Would highly recommend and will call him again if I need more work done.

This company is terrific. They are affordable, honest, responsive and utterly reliable. They installed the charger for my EV at a very reasonable price. They showed up when they said they would and completed the job quickly and neatly. They are my go to for any and all electrical work. I feel lucky to have found them.

The electrical meter box on the side of our house developed a "short" causing power issues. The lights would dim, circuit breakers would click off, etc. Obviously we were concerned. We called Pro-Tects, from the Duke energy website. Barron was able to come out the same day to diagnose the problem. He also gave us immediate safety suggestions and made us a priority for repair.

Barron determined the meter box needed replaced. The fix required an electrical permit and coordination with Duke Power to turn off power to the house followed by an electrical inspection. Pro-Tects & Sean (who performed the actual meter replacement) managed the process quickly, efficiently, and professionally. Once the process started, they had literally everything handled within hours. Frankly, we don't know how anyone could pull off all the co-ordination necessary! But they did!
And the icing on the cake was their very reasonable pricing!

I chose to go with Pro-Tects through the Duke Energy website. The experience was nothing but positive. Joe came out to provide an estimate to install several exterior outlets, an outlet undercabinet for a dishwasher and an outlet for the kitchen peninsula.....running 2 new circuits to the breaker. The estimate was very reasonable given the scope of the work. A competing company wanted to charge me $89 just to look at the job.

Joe from Pro-Tects was very efficient and professional. I haven't had much luck with contractors in the Johnston/Wayne County area over the past decade.......with Pro-Tects, I couldn't recommend them more.
