Tree reviews in Middlesex, North Carolina

We are very pleased with all the tree work Jake and his team did for us this past week. Very professional, knowledgeable and respectful of our property. Answered every question and concern we had and did it at a reasonable price.

Rice's Outdoor Services is top notch. They were very helpful with helping us decide what should come down and came out twice to give us different estimates. This is my third time using them and I am amazed at how swiftly they came in and took down 16 trees and some overgrown bushes in a matter of hours. I couldn't be more pleased by their professionalism and quality.

I panicked when my large tree split and a big unmovable limb fell in the yard! I contacted Rice's Outdoor Services and Jake put me at ease and made me feel a lot better. In no time they had made fast work of clearing the limb and disposing of it and it was as if it had never happened! I couldn't believe how quickly they worked and how efficient it was! I would recommend them to anyone!

My mom has used them on multiple occasions. It took them no time to come out when she called them. They were really quick and did an excellent job. Super nice people. I highly recommend!

This company is a class act. We got bids on removing six tall trees which were close to our home and they were in line with the others. We hired them and they ran like a well oiled machine. The workers are a team that have worked together a long time. They remove one tree at a time and completely clean up any mess before moving on to the next tree. Courteous and professional people with safety equipment and up to date machinery. I would recommend them to anyone or any business. Thomas P Dewey

Very professional. Dropped a leaning tree that was damaged at the base. Highly recommend. He is very knowledgeable about his craft.

I called Mr. Rice after a tree fell in my yard. Later that day he arrived, survey the damage and delivered a quote. I accepted the quote. Mr. Rice and his team came to do the work THE NEXT DAY! They showed up, and very efficiently completed the tasks at hand. Everything was done and COMPLETELY cleaned in a remarkably quick timeframe. I will not hesitate to use Rice's Outdoor Services for future work and will recommend them to anyone in need. Top notch!!

Jake and the crew were here in May and did a fantastic job, so we asked for their help again last week with tree removal and trimming. Again they were terrific. Fast, efficient, timely and clean up is amazing! This company goes above and beyond.

GREAT service. Needed trees trimmed, some 30 feet above my porch and another 15 inches wide. Rice's came out and gave me a very modest quote (half of what others quoted). They went above and beyond my expectations. Fantastic work! THANKS!

I called Mr Rice to receive a quote on tree and stump removal from the front yard. Mr Rice responded promptly, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Mr Rice gave me a more than reasonable quote as well as a timeline for the work to be done. Day of service, Mr Rice and crew arrived on time and performed the job requiring no guidance which shows his expertise knowledge. The work was done in a timely manner, no damage or debris present; grading was immaculate and no clean up required as they took care of everything. I highly recommend Mr Rice and his team, I will be using him in the future.

We are very pleased with Rice’s Outdoor Services. Jake and Jessica were very responsive and helpful with our questions. The whole crew did a great job and left us with a nice clean area after the trees were removed. We look forward to working with you all again when we need more tree work!

Rice's Outdoor Services came out to my home for a free estimate, and were prompt to schedule the work we needed done. We had two dead trees and several other trees too close to our home, some of them even leaning over our house. They worked quickly, professionally, and carefully to remove all of the trees we asked them to. Our home is safer for the coming hurricane season, and they even left our yard looking nicer than when they arrived. I highly recommend their services.

very satisfied with work performed by Rice's Outdoor Services
They gave me a schedule and met it. all of the crew were courteous and did their job well. wonderful job performance
would use their services again in a heartbeat

I was referred to Rice's Outdoor Services to have some tree limbs removed that were hanging over my house. I was having a difficult time finding someone to do the work on short notice until I contacted Rice's. They were quick to respond to my call. I received an estimate and had the work completed in just a few short days. The entire crew did an amazing job and really took care of my 100+ year old oaks. I can't say enough about their amazing customer service, they really went above and beyond. I look forward to using their service again for all of my outdoor needs. Quality work, dependable, affordable.

Rice's Outdoor services is by far the best company I have ever contracted to preform any sort of work on my property or home.

Jake is always on time to the job. I feel my time is important, and appreciate it when someone always shows up when they say they will.

The Rice's team does excellent work. I have had them out three times over the last two and a half years. First to limb a huge tree and take it down far enough that I knew it would not pose any more threat to falling on my deck of house.

There were also some smaller trees and limb work I needed done. Everything was done in a completely professional manner and when they were done other than the fact that all the work had been done, there was no indication that anyone had been on our property. Any tire tracks or places where the crane had to be braced and had created deep grooves in the drive were completely filled in and looked as good or better then before they came.
The pricing was extremely reasonable for the amount of work done.

I will use no other outdoor service company in the future.

I recently had tree work done by Jake Rice and his team! They did an excellent job and I was so pleased! He explained everything to me in detail and answered all my questions! They cleaned the yard completely before leaving! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree work! I will continue to use only them!

We are very satisfied with the service we received from Rice's Outdoor Services. We had a large tree fall in our yard and we had no idea who to call! We found Rice's Outdoor Services and they did a wonderful job from beginning to end. Jake and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. Definitely will recommend them to family and friends!

I met with Mr Rice for a "walk around" to inspect and advise me of any trees that were in need of being removed or cut-back. I also requested he "clean up" the natural area in front of our home as well as trim bushes in the rear of home and clear out shrubs and small trees in the rear of our home.
They gave us a date and the crew arrived on time and quickly began working and were very efficient. Safety was "top notch"!! The crew came back the next morning and completed the job.
Every detail on our estimate was completed to perfection and I cannot express what a wonderful job they did.

I definitely would recommend Rice Ourdoor to anyone looking for a professional job done at a reasonable price.

Jake Rice and his entire crew were great! Their time management and professionalism were the best. Jake Rice's Outdoor Services will always have my business. I will always recommend him. Thank you very much!

I had a huge pine tree cut down by Rice's Outdoor Service. They know what they are doing and very knowledgeable. They cleaned up all the limbs, tree trunk and debris including raking and blowing off surfaces with blower. Left the yard clean. AND worked in a LOT of heavy rain.

Last week, I contracted with Rice's Outdoor services to remove limbs and trees on my property that were either dead or had the potential to damage my house should the fall.

When I called their business, they came to my house, surveyed the issues, and put together a quote. The price they arrived at was fair and competitive and we booked the time for removal. On the scheduled day, Rice’s showed up on time and got to work immediately. Their on-site team was top-notch competent and made short work of the problematic trees. They hauled away the cut-up wood and on-site shredded what they could. They then tidied up my property and cleaned up any minor mess their tree removal created. I was highly impressed with their professionalism and customer service. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again should the need arise.
