Great to work with it and over several different options to add to the standard aeration like special root fertilizer treatment, lime, treatment for weeds prior to aeration, and more. They work with your schedule and are arrive when they say they will. Will work with them again.

We are very happy with our switch to Carolina Turf. The manager Chris is super responsive and always helps take care of everything we need. We have a great relationship with Eric who takes care of our weekly maintenance and always does a great job. And the cutting crew led by Phil did a fantastic job. Plus they do a thorough job when it's time for aerating and seeding too.

We spent weeks talking with various companies and I will say that Carolina Turf won us over immediately. Chris provided the most thorough and honest assessment of our situation. He took the time to walk our property and understand our vision and made excellent recommendations. Once we had decided to move forward Chris worked with us to refine the project to work with our budget and our space. We went from a completely empty dirt yard to a stunning transformation in about 3 weeks. Chris, David, and the entire team were incredible. Can’t wait to work with them again.

Carolina Turf did a really great job with my lawn and overseeding with new grass. They communicated really well throughout the entire process and when it came to getting the job done, they did everything quickly and well. They also cleaned up after themselves which is not always the case with landscaping companies. There was even a moment where i needed to move some bags of soil off my lawn and the techs were good sports about helping. I was emailed thorough instructions on how to take care of my lawn, which is great for a newbie like me. The entire crew did a great job throughout the project. I'm looking forward to my new fescue lawn!

Had a great experience with Carolina Sod! Chris came out and quoted me and gave ideas on how to make it look the best and David was my project manager who made it happen. Everything was smooth even with a few necessary delays due to weather. Highly recommend!

William and Phil were great. Will explained everything that was being done today and what to look out for in the future. They could not have been more professional.

Edit: Owner reached out attempting to provide context and asked me “would you be able to edit/delete your review”, I said I would not edit or delete my review because I felt my review was honest. The owner then responded with “Deleting would be best option but it’s your call.”

Please read my experience before you consider signing up with Carolina Turf. I used Carolina Turf for one year but I switched lawn services because the service I had been receiving from Carolina Turf was inconsistent and expensive. When I called the front office (April 2025) and canceled my service everything went smoothly (or so I thought). I had a bad feeling so I canceled the card I had on file with them. Sure enough, one month later a technician from Carolina Turf reached out and I had to inform them that I had already canceled my service, odd, but miscommunications happen. After that, I checked my card and I noticed they had continued attempting to charge my card without my knowledge. Between April 2025 through September 2025, they have attempted to charge my card 47 separate times. Today (9/18/25, more than 5 months after I requested the service to be canceled) I received a text message asking me to update the card on file. Had I not canceled my card they would have charged me for 5 months’ worth of service that I never received, I’d suggest using another company that has better customer service and better communication with their billing department.

The aeration and over-seeding have been doing great 👍🏻… we had almost bare ground in many areas. I put down topsoil and they did a good job of spreading the seed!

Carolina Turf keeps my yard looking great year around. They’re responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Whenever we see the green truck we know we’re in good hands.

I highly recommend this company due to BEST PRICES and EXCELLENT WORK! First, I had an emergency water line burst under my shrubbery! David answered text, called me after hours and I explained desperate situation no water, disabled, and shrubs had to be removed for the plumber to repair the line. They beat the plumbers price, saving me over 1000 plus dollars and repaired my water line the same day! Honest, professional, kind, sincere, and caring company…. Beautiful work on shrubs, holly trees, bush removal, mulch, river rock, and my yard that was “excessive overgrowth” due to my financial struggles and neglect. David, Edilson, Juan, Bohdan from Ukraine were so meticulously detailed on every aspect, polite, professional, funny, friendly and they made sure I was completely satisfied. we even laughed & joked around together as I learned how to say “beautiful” in Russian! Out of 5 quotes, David’s prices beat other landscaping quotes by 1300.00. I can’t wait to do business with this company again and again….I highly recommend them and I am so grateful and thankful for an honest business that’s AFFORDABLE and sincerely CARE about me like family! WOW I am overflowing with love and gratitude for finding this “gem”….it’s so rare to find a business like THIS these days! They went above and beyond my expectations! BEST HONEST Company I have encountered, I just wanted to share and recommend you to let them quote your next job! Thank GOD I got my water restored same day and my yard is beautiful again now! The crew working went over and beyond in workmanship, politeness, yard and driveway clean up, and kept me updated on their progress, took extra time to explain line and parts necessary and time I would have water back on. Yes, David reassured me this crew had over 20 yrs experience with water lines, pool lines, sprinkler lines, etc! An HONEST company is a real “gem” and rarely found these days! So pleased!! We had our backyard sodded by Carolina turf. Both crews sent to do work were professional and took pride in their work. I felt like they were working as if it was their own yard. We are very happy with our finished project and would use them again.

These folks are amazing. We have a unique property with lots of beds, a private driveway, and an acre of lawn. Lots of shrubs and landscaping to maintain! We also have a pool project in our backyard that is half completed.

Before these guys took over it looked like our luxury home and property were abandoned or lost to the wilderness lol. We've had them do a large cleanup and weekly service and it looks well manicured now. We look forward to using them in the future for our backyard hardscape project around the pool and irrigation.

It’s really hard to express in words just how marvelous of a job that Chris, Roman, and team have done in beautifully transforming our landscape and making us ever so proud and joyful of our home! We have spent thousands on thousands working with other companies, and their work product did not even come close to the professional quality of Carolina Turf did in just two days’ time! We’re already lining up more work and projects, because their team is now our team!

David and his crew did an amazing job transforming our backyard into a functional space for our family. They removed our swing set and added a turf field with lighting so the kids can practice sports day or night. They also fixed our drainage issues by re-doing the pipes and river rock and adding sod. The job was completed in just a couple of weeks! David was very responsive to my calls and texts and the crew never missed a day.

Edit: Just want to add to this 5-star review after doing a backyard project with Carolina Turf. We worked with Chris on designing and estimating the project. He was very responsive and knowledgeable. He came over several times to take a look and there was back and forth on a rendering until we locked down the design. Then we kicked off the project with David's team. Communication was still great and we were able to check in with David on how things were going, plus still reach out to Chris if needed.

Ultimately, we re-did our wall/patio (we had a bad experience with a different company a few years ago). We are very pleased with the end result with our new retaining wall, patio, grading, sod, and mulch/plants. We even had a change order to include essentially mulching the very back where we have these big trees.

The timeline and estimate were as expected. It took a few weeks during August and September to do the project, even when there was a few days of heavy rain. The final invoice was pretty much what the estimate was. The office was even very responsive when I needed to void one of the charges to switch credit cards on file. And the team was super helpful in setting up sprinklers for us to make sure the new sod was getting water right away both during the middle of the project and at the end. Plus they left the sprinklers so that we could continue to use them, which made things easier for us. As the workers stated, they worked on the project as if it was their own home. Very pleased overall.

Previous review from last year: Very responsive, which I feel is very important. Took their time to explain all my questions during the quote process and helped recommend the lawn services I need. Been a good experience so far.

This is the most hardworking, respectful, loyal crew that we ever had the pleasure to worked with.
