Comfort First Heating and Cooling

Not repaired yet which is part of the problem. I was paired with this company after initiating a claim with American Home Shield. The next day a service guy (I believe his name was Gary) arrived and after a time found a significant leak from a hole in one of the copper pipes. I should state that Gary was very professional and informative. Though he had the materials to fix the issue; he stated that he would have to virtually disassemble the unit to access the repair area and he would not do the repair because rain was moving into the area to which I understood. He informed me that his office would contact me the next morning to set up service appointment for the repair. I waited until 2 pm (with indoor temps in my house already down to 65 degrees at which point I called Comfort First office for a status. After several dropped calls, I was informed that I would be contacted in three to seven business days to schedule the repair. Infuriated, I sent an email to their corporate customer service highlighting my frustration at what I was told. I did receive a call in response and was informed that "the parts" would be on service truck (5) days from today and scheduled the appointment for Wed. 03/08. I find this so frustrating in that as stated the original person who came to diagnose the issue yesterday said the only reason he was not doing the repair right away was that it was a 2-hour job and rain was moving in. So, I am still at a loss because if he had the items needed to do the job WHY do I now need to wait for "parts" to arrive five days from now. The interior of my house is currently 65 degrees and overnight temps for next two nights are forecast to be in low 40's.

I started with Comfort First few years back through my warranty company AHS and they were always professional & knowledgeable always got my system running same day. So it was for us a no brainer to contact them for a new HVAC system. Ryan came out promptly on the day of our appointment. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Was totally ready for all our questions and was thorough when discussing our options.

He said our new system would be installed in 2 days as we were going from a 28 year old system and had to do a little extra work like ductwork, new supply register and a new return, etc. Ryan and Mike did their thing and explained it to us as they worked. Kept us in the loop the entire way. They really and truly know their stuff. We highly recommend them! As far as the system works great so far!!
