I recently had a mold issue in my laundry room due to a leaky pipe. After the mold was remediated and plumbing fixed, I contacted Gonzalez Home Repair for an estimate to install a few pieces of tile where some had been taken out as part of the remediation work, to potentially install the drywall & paint the one affected wall, and to potentially paint the entire room. Admittedly, this was not a big job. I had a few issues with other contractors returning my calls or giving me timely estimates, but that was not the case with Gonzalez Home Repair. Freddie, the owner, came out to give me an estimate the same day I called. He was gave me several estimates, as I wasn't sure if I wanted to do the drywall myself and as I wasn't sure if I wanted the whole room painted or not. Freddie was very easy going and provided me with an estimate on the spot, with separate estimates (at my request) for tile, drywall, and painting. I found the estimates to be more than fair, and again, unlike other contractors, Freddie was able to have someone start on the work very quickly. They did a fantastic job and were a pleasure to have in my home. They even gave me some tips on how to do touch up drywall work myself in the future in case the need arose. I'll be honest: I would have been happy with a lower level of quality as this is a laundry room and our shelving would have hid any blemishes in the drywall or painting. Freddie's team, however, was top notch and put in their best effort to produce the best outcome.

I am very happy with the work done by Gonzalez Home Repair and I will absolutely be contacting them in the future for other needs around the house.

I recently had a great experience with Gonzales Home Repair, LLC. Freddie and his crews were prompt, courteous at all times, very respectful of my property, and very thorough. They did a very large project for me with multiple assets (AC, insulation, flooring, framing, dry wall, painting, etc) and they did an excellent job. Freddie is always easy to contact and prompt to answer questions. He really does back his work - we did have a minor problem and we was very quick to rectify it. I would (and have) hire this company for any repairs I have in the future.

We had the Gonzalez Home Repairs team fix the exterior molding, trim, and hardy plank siding around our garage doors. It had been damaged by water seeping in and was badly cracked and looked terrible. I knew it was going to be a difficult job. I couldn't be happier with the work that Freddie's team did. They were friendly and professional and worked steadily and consistently to get the job done right. Kept everything clean and squared away during the days they were here. They have earned my highest enthusiastic recommendation!

Freddy and his team did great work. we needed some wood rot repairs made and also decided to make upgrades to our lighting in the breakfast area, living room, board and batten in the dinning room and shiplap fireplace. The end products are great and Freddy is very responsive. We recommend them to our friends and family and will use them again for future needs.

Freddie and his team are top notch! They arrived promptly and the quality of work is outstanding. They fixed a leak in my attic and replaced a window for me as well as some broken trim pieces other companies couldn't replace. They also fixed all of the wood that was water damaged underneath and repaired the damage to my ceiling. We hired Gonzalez Home Repair to replace the tile floor in our laundry room after an incident with water damage in early March 2025. Freddie and his team were great. He has great attention to detail and they were efficient and reasonably priced. I ended up loving the new floor better than the original.
One detail that I appreciated was, when we were choosing grout for the file, someone actually came to my house with a small piece of tile and several grout color samples so I could see them and pick just the right color. I thought that was a great touch that really left me sure that I was making the right choice. I felt confident at each step of the process with Freddie and his team.

Gonzales Home Repair did an excellent job with drywall repair and painting in my home. Their crew was professional, the work quality exceeded my expectations, and they completed everything quickly at a fair price. Freddie and his team were amazing to work with, even through the issues we had with our insurance not wanting to pay for this or that, Freddie never doubted for a second that his team could make our home whole again after a septic overflow in August damaged half of our downstairs. An earlier mitigation team ripped out more than they needed to, but Freddie's team did an amazing job making it look just as it did before the damage, even our "Shadowboxing" as I called it, with just a couple pictures I had from when we moved into our new home. The craftsmanship of his entire team does not go unnoticed!

Ernesto and Magdalena were also amazing to work with. They were considerate and respectful of our home while they were working. Even taking off their shoes when they needed to come upstairs to ask me questions. When I felt like maybe we were asking too much, they never once made it seem like we had overwhelmed them! Their care & dedication to making everything exactly how it was prior was absolutely appreciated. In the end, our floors are a perfect match, the walls look like there was never any damage, my wife got her new bathroom sink installed and we feel 100% at home again.

Freddie Gonzalez did a huge project on our home. His crew took down exterior and interior walls, worked on the roof, put new floors in, marble and On Site wood floors. They put large windows in and so many other things. They were kind considerate knew what they were doing covered the floors blocked off rooms with plastic. I just can’t say enough about this fabulous group of workers. Freddy kept in touch. He showed up when he needed to show up. It was a great experience. Thank you Freddie and thank you to your crew. Over the summer of 2024, we hired Gonzalez Home Repair to renovate our 1979 ranch-style home. Their team tackled our project list with efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail. We received a detailed quote so we knew what we were getting into from the start. When unexpected things arose, like a water issue found after removing the carpet, we were contacted and given a price for the additional work explaining why it had to be done before it was started.

They removed the original carpet, padding, and carpet tack from the whole house. Then, they installed luxury vinyl planks, quarter-round and painted baseboards and chair rails.

Gonzalez Home Repair addressed other issues including:
- Fixed and repainted back deck steps, railings, and deck floor
- Repaired flashing on the exterior chimney
- Waterproofed crawlspace entry
- Repainted living room ceiling
- Removed original bi-fold closet doors and replaced them with solid wood bypass doors
- Enhanced subflooring in the kitchen, and installed flooring transitions between rooms

The team also helped us move furniture and treated our house and possessions with care. Everyone showed up on time every day. If we had any questions all we had to do was call them and someone would promptly return our call. We never felt like we had to chase anyone down.

Freddie and his team were awesome. We hired them to: fix hole in ceiling and paint ceiling and family room. Install new light fixture, fix a wiring problem with another track light, mount a tv bracket and tv and install a new kitchen faucet. Freddie was always quick to respond. Gonzalez Home Repairs did an excellent job on my bathroom repair/renovation. We had mold in one spot in our subfloor, which had to be cut out, and subfloor reinstalled in that area. We also had tile installed after the repair was done.

From the detailed itemized estimate, to the professionalism and care given during the entire process, we are completely satisfied!
