Larry Ducksworth is the absolute best and most professional handyman I have ever used. I have known Larry for two years now and he has helped us with countless projects. He is professional, super friendly, clean and great at what he does. From putting together drawers, to hanging TV’s, to moving furniture and countless other projects, he is always happy to help; I cannot say enough good things about Larry, and we trust him with every project in our home. Larry is cost effective, works very hard, and always leaves our space better than he found it. If you are looking for a handyman, he is best one out there!

I did not know who could possibly hang my beautiful 200 lb Restoration Hardware mirror…until found Larry & Handylux. They did a fabulous job with the mirror and several other pieces in my home. I highly recommend this company to the discerning homeowner that needs a job done professionally!

I hired Handydux to help me put a makeup vanity together for my daughter.
I've put many pieces of furniture together and never had this much trouble, the instructions were terrible! So I called about 5 local handyman companies and decided to go with Handydux and I'm so glad I did!. Larry showed up on time, got started right away and was very professional and friendly throughout the assembly. The hourly price is very fair compared to the other companies and I even had to make an adjustment to the appointment time and they were able to work with me with no issues. I am extremely grateful for the help and even more so for the results! The vanity looks amazing and was done in the expected time frame! I highly recommend Larry and his team aand will definitely be hiring them for future projects!

Awesome job. Precise with measurements and always professional. He has all the tools you will need. I am a repeat customer times 3 or 4 times now. I first hired him in 2021. It's 2025 and the fact that I still look him up when I need something mounted speaks to the quality of the work!

I’m seriously so grateful I found Handydux! I bought these cabinets from Habitat and I’ll be honest — once we got them home, I was worried they wouldn’t even be mountable. They felt a little makeshift, the backs weren’t super confidence-inspiring, and I kept thinking, “There’s no way these are going to sit level and actually be secure on the wall.”

Larry showed up and immediately put me at ease. He took his time looking everything over, explained what he was going to do, and came prepared with the right hardware to mount them properly. He didn’t try to “make it work” with whatever was on hand — he mounted them the right way. By the time he finished, the cabinets were perfectly level, rock solid, and honestly look better than I imagined they could!

Booking was also super easy, communication was smooth, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. If you’re in the Raleigh–Durham area and you need cabinet installation, wall mounting, or custom mounting done with real attention to detail, I can’t recommend Handydux enough. I’ll absolutely be booking again!

I had booked online to have a piece of artwork installed in my entryway. Booking was fast and easy. Larry, the installer, arrived on time. He carefully measured, and then installed the artwork taking into account the position of other art/objects in the room. The picture is secure and perfectly level. I am very pleased, and highly recommend Larry and Handydux.

I can’t say enough about this company and Larry. As an elderly woman it’s hard to find the right help, but Handydux was a true blessing. I had Larry mount 33 pictures, install my TV (he even hid all the wires and provided the mount), put up floating shelves, and install my medicine cabinet. I also opted for the vision coordination because I didn’t know where to put my pieces, and Larry guided me with such patience and a great eye—now my walls tell a story and my home feels elegant and comfortable. He arrived on time, protected my space, cleaned up thoroughly, and treated me with kindness and respect. True professionalism, quality work, and someone you can trust. I highly recommend Handydux and Larry to anyone who wants the job done right.
