Kitchen Remodeler reviews in Raleigh, North Carolina

Custom service here is a joke. My boyfriend and I walked in to purchase some cabinet hardware and not one person approached us for assistance. There was even an employee working at her desk maybe ten feet from where we were standing. We just ordered the hardware we wanted online. Tip to this store: work on your customer service.

We had a great experience working with Christy Rosario at Kitchen and Bath Galleries Glenwood. She listened to all our needs and we couldn't be happier with the finished product, highly recommended.

We went into the showroom today. Only one person working in the huge store, with one couple who was making a purchase. The sales person never said hello, sorry I can’t help you right now, NOTHING!! We will not be returning.

I was initially nervous to use this company based on some of the reviews. But, my countertop was installed extremely quickly and the installers were kind, courteous, and timely. The end result looks absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended!

Worked with Shaq and was so impressed on his knowledge of different appliances and companies. They were so professional and always willing to help whenever we called and came by. Great value and great place to buy appliances.

The most horrible customer service ever. The designer didn't want to help me and lied about trying to call me and contacting me via email. She stalled doing the work saying she was so busy that I’d have to wait weeks and months for her time. She didn’t want to lend out samples and said they had to be back in 1 day. I talked to the store about this behavior and nothing changed so management is obviously condoning this behavior from their staff. Must be the owner’s wife, who else could cause a business owner to allow staff to run-off and lose business in this manner.

My wife and I were having a difficult time determining a kitchen design for our renovation, and decided to go into Kitchen and Bath Galleries on a whim. Visiting the showroom offered some great ideas, but the real breakthrough came when Rima began talking with us about our goals. She asked all of the right questions and helped us define our scattered wish list. After a site visit, Rima offered several practical designs that gave us the confidence that we picked the right supplier. The delivery and installation crew were on time and professional . We are very pleased with the results and would recommend Kitchen and Bath Galleries to anyone.

We're buying a new home and wanted to look at kitchen appliances. The gentleman that reluctantly left his desk to greet us was actually confrontational towards me... answering my questions by correcting me or or challenging the veracity of my inquiries. It made no sense. Clearly he was in a bad mood. We went somewhere else and had far better luck finding someone helpful and knowledgeable. And polite. We'll buy from them.

Christy Rosario at Kitchen and Bath Galleries is a top-notch designer who is amazing to work with! I cannot recommend her highly enough. Our project is a large home addition that includes a complete kitchen remodel and two bathroom remodels. My husband and I have no idea what we are doing, and do not have good design sense--Christy has been extremely patient and has helped guide our decisions, spending tons of time with us to make sure we are comfortable (always going above and beyond in terms of her time). She has also kept us on track with deadlines. We are so happy and confident with what we've chosen. Christy is incredibly knowledgeable about scale, finishes, colors, materials, etc., and makes the design process fun and manageable. She has been very conscious about our budget while ensuring we are getting the best value and options for what we can afford. We really love Christy and would use her again in a heartbeat!

Visited the location off of Glenwood this past weekend and it was a terrible experience. The whole place has a very depressing and somber vibe (just look at the website and you'll see what I mean)... That said, the worst part was the "customer service" or lack there of... We walked around and stayed in the area looking at the granite options for about 20 minutes and had zero employees greet us, check on us or ask if we had any questions. Once we decided no one was interested in helping us, we decided to leave.
As we were walking out we passed not one but TWO very miserable looking employees who clearly didn't want to be there and weren't helping other customers... just sitting at their desks texting and couldn't be bothered to say a word to us. Clearly they don't need any customers. It's actually pretty comical because as you read through other reviews you will find this has happened to so many other people so I wouldn't just chalk it up to "a bad day".
We ended up going to a local competitor who provided us with a completely opposite (and amazing) experience as we finally put the finishing touches on our new home. -
We went to buy new equipment in the Kitchen & Bath Gallerie
showroom, 8411 Glenwood Ave #107, Raleigh, because we hoped that a
large company
had professional installers and there would be no headache with it .
I am not very concerned if I was not welcomed (although in US it is a
rarity); professionalism is more important for me . When we had questions
we approached the only one seller who was sitting at the table and asked
recommendations . We liked one of the hoods and one of the cooktops
and bought them . He also recommended the installer .
We called the installer, agreed on the day of installation and asked for the
price - 200$.
When he began to remove the hood, it was not very neat .
After installing the new hood, I discovered that one side of the hood does not fit
snugly against the wall . Since the slightest gap can cause vibration and
strong noise --- I didn't like it, but he did not react (my husband assumed
that it was an uneven wall, although the whole kitchen adjoins the wall
perfectly, but where the hood is suddenly uneven)
And the scratched kitchen cabinet near the hood didn't make me happy
either! Surprise! He did not have an important tool as a level!
When he installed the cooktop, he was not going to put a seal under the
cooktop .
He did not consider it necessary! ! We had to insist . He did it
poorly and now one side of the cooktop periodically bounces up!
After , he also raised the price by 100 !!
Wonderful new equipment spoiled by installation . Not happy -
Kitchen and Bath, and Bill Ginsler, did a first rate job recommending replacement appliances for our kitchen upgrade. We have custom cabinets with existing appliances and so had to make sure the new ones would fit. Kitchen and Bath recommended both a cabinet maker and an installer who inspected and determined the new appliances could fit, with several modifications. The appliances were ordered, came in promptly and were delivered as promised.
Jeremy Pickering at Southeast Installs and Leon Walton, Raleigh Cabinet Works both did excellent work and problem solving on a very tricky installation, performed the work on the schedules promised, and returned texts, phone calls and emails punctually every time they were contacted.
Leon Walton did a beautiful job revising and refitting the existing custom-made cabinets, salvaging the original walnut pieces to preserve the original grain and finish, without adding any new walnut. He also took out a drawer, and the old oven cabinet floor, and dropped the new oven cabinet box several inches to lower the oven set. He then made a new pan drawer to fit above the oven, using the original drawer front and adjusted all the other drawers and doors to where the gaps and clearances were indistinguishable from the surrounding cabinets. I’ll say this was VERY tricky with very little margin for error. I believe he did not even have 3/8ths of an inch extra on the entire 60 inch cabinet face to work with. Real craftsmanship.
Jeremy Pickering, installer, managed to work out wiring challenges from the old oven sets to get the Wolf ovens mounted just right. With the new range top and vent he was able to make everything fit just right without the need to have a stone cutter provide relief by cutting. Again, a very difficult and custom installation. Everything looks like it was made to go in place where it is now.
Every bit of this project and the work surrounding it started with Kitchen and Bath Galleries and their recommendations. Needless to say we'll be back for any other upgrades. -
We are in the process of stripping our kitchen and redoing everything
Walked in Kitchen and Bath on Glenwood Ave. on a Saturday afternoon. We spent 25-30 minutes in the store browsing appliances , countertops etc. The entire time we were in the store no one approached us or asked if they could assist us in anyway . As we walked by both people sales people on our way out the door no one asked us if we had any questions or needed any information. I will never grace those doors again! I am also a designer and have sent people in there to get help and ideas and I will never do that again either -
I thought that I was the only person to have a terrible experience just trying to get someone to assist me. I waited for about 30 minutes trying to get a sales person to assist me. I was finally able to get someone who promptly handed me business cards and told me I could contact the installers, cabinet maker and plumber etc. myself; Iwas planning on a master bath remodel. I told the salesperson I wanted to work with a designer to assist me. She just walked away. I left the business cards she gave me on her desk. It was an insulting experience. I don’t know how this place is still in business

Ida was a pleasure to work. We’re very pleased with our new half bath vanity.

We had a really great experience working with Kim Kruskamp and Cathy Lankford at the Kitchen and Bath Galleries location in Raleigh. Our kitchen was the original one from 1988 and it needed a significant revamp and upgrade. Kim and Cathy helped us design a new kitchen that was not only much more functional but also beautiful in style. We truly appreciated their eye for detail, suggestions to match our tastes and surrounding décor, and ability to give us options that suited our preferences. Their involvement and project management skills were essential to keeping the project on track and in scope. The final result was a gorgeous kitchen that transforms our entire downstairs and that will be a center point in our house in years to come. Thank you to Kim and Cathy for making this a wonderful journey resulting in a kitchen that we love to use! We would highly recommend them to others planning to remodel their house in the future.

I wanted to recognize Bill Ginsler for his amazing customer service. I'm sure I'm not alone in this, but I have gone back and forth on some appliance decisions over the past couple of months. He has been so incredibly patient, responsive, and helpful. I am excited for our complete remodel, and Bill has made the first steps incredibly smooth and painless.

Our newly remodeled kitchen is perfect! Kim listened closely to my wishes and needs and created a plan that is perfect for us. The contractor and all the subs were excellent and cleaned up after themselves. Subsequently, we have signed a contract for a bathroom remodel.

The design and finished product deserves more stars, but the customer service brings down overall rating. It was just one problem after another on our project. There is a huge disconnect between the various departments and they are NOT as full service as they lead you to believe. I understand construction brings various challenges, but their project management was the worst. We also spent thousands on new appliances and they don't even install them! It was left up to us to hire additional contractors for installation.
I would not recommend them to friends, if you do decide to go with them, buyer beware. -
We went to K&B to pick out and order all of our appliances for our full kitchen remodel. Shaq helped us and made it such a wonderful experience. He was very helpful through the entire process. His response time to all my emails was very fast. So extremely grateful, thank you Shaq!

I have been very impressed with Kitchen and Bath Galleries! They did excellent work, were prompt, helpful, polite, and delivered everything in a timely and professional fashion. I could not imagine my kitchen remodel project without the help of Jennifer, a designer there. She went the extra mile for us and we couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend them and her!
