I highly recommend Brett and the Longhorn Tree guys! Brett came out on a Saturday morning to cut down a large dead oak tree in our front yard. It actually provided about 2 hours of entertainment for my kids while they watched him work (and me too). I'll definitely use him again for the next time we need something cut down. Today, Brett and his team of hard working fellers did an amazing professional job cutting down a big sweetgum in our yard. The "surgeon" knew what he was doing and the team worked very hard to safely get that tree down and chipped in amazingly good time. I Totally would recomend this company to anyone who needs tree service.

A recent storm accompanied by high winds snapped one of our large trees about 1/3 of the way from the top, leaving heavy debris on the ground and the bottom 2/3 of the trunk still standing. Because of the close proximity to our house and fence, it made removal of the remaining damaged trunk quite tricky. It had to be cut and dropped in a precise manner - similar to what I would describe as threading a needle. I called Brett and he responded quickly to help. He wasted no time analyzing what needed to be done and how to do it, and completed the work in short order. If you are ever in need of an outstanding tree removal service, call Brett. Received a quick response and a competitive price quote. They were out there the day after I received HOA approval for tree removal. They left virtually no evidence that they had been there. Considering the size of the tree and the amount of debris that had to be removed, that is quite remarkable. Longhorn Tree Service did an excellent job and I was very pleased with their work. Brett is very knowledgeable and was helpful in offering advice regarding which trees to remove. He offered a competitive price and talked to me about the health of my trees and what my goals were for the yard/landscaping without ever trying to sell me on taking down a healthy tree. The team was pleasant and did a great job removing 6 trees, including a huge hickory that was very close to my house. I never had any worries about my house or extraneous damage because they were so skilled and careful. They actually removed part of the back fence to make it easier to haul the trunks away, but put it back together so you would never know. I would definitely use them again, and recommended them to my family and neighbors.

Storm blew through yesterday afternoon, large tree limb broke and fell on my house, I started making calls late in the afternoon to several tree service businesses. Within an hour, Brett was at my house assessing the job, gave me a great rate, the team came out early this morning, super efficient, friendly, and got the job done. Nothing but praise for the work this crew did for us on a tree close to my and my neighbors house. They had the equipment and the attention to detail that took a lot of the worry out of the job for us. They had a chipper hooked to the back of the hoisting Crane that obliterated big tree logs like it was nothing. One of the workers even cut a few logs up to size for a neighbor to use for firewood. The company was referred to me by a friend, offered a competitive price, and did an extremely good job to get the tree down without causing any damage to nearby property. I’d highly recommend longhorn for any tree job.
