I had Longhorn take down a VERY large oak tree in my back yard. As a former arborist I considered taking it down myself but due to the limited area to work I didn't want to accidentally drop it on a neighbors house. Longhorn not only gave me a more than fair price but did an excellent job with no damage with the exception of the end of my downspout (not a big deal in the grand scheme of the project). Would definitely recommend them.

Brett and his guys did an awesome job taking a tree down for us last year and just had to remove a tree on the HOA property beside us and the tree was very difficult as the tree had decayed beyond the typical removal procedures. I attached a picture of the decay. Great working with these guys! Minimal damage to surrounding area as they had to bring the tree down in one piece.

Brett and his helper did a great job taking down a large limb that had partially fallen on my internet line and they also cut out lots of other dead limbs in my tree. They had reasonable prices for their work and they are great people to work with. Very quick in their response too. I will definitely use Brett again and look forward to working with him.

Let's talk about Longhorn Tree Service. Now this is a service for normal people who are just trying to get things done.

Brett, the owner, was quick to come out and asked me what my goals were. He then advised me based on those goals. Showing me which trees had been struck by lightening, which were blocking the sun, and pointing out poison ivy. After that he sent us a quote and let me tell you I was surprised by how affordable they were.

The experience with Longhorn has been great. The team cutting the trees are so kind and kept me up to date on what they are doing. They also just stopped to chat and seem to really enjoy what the do. We have had no issues with anything and you can see that quality and service is their top priority. I cannot recommend them enough. You will find a wonderful, small company that only wants to do right by you and their team.

Brett (owner) responded to my call yesterday, couple hours later came by for an assessment and had my quote ready an hour after leaving my place. The quoted price was fair so I signed off on the work right away. His crew was here today and got the job done quickly and efficiently, exactly like I asked. They took down a dead cherry tree, grinded the stump, trimmed two other trees in my front yard. The guys were friendly, professional, and left their work area as clean as it was before they got there. Highly recommend this company for any tree work you may have!!!

I am very happy with the work that the Longhorn Tree Service crew completed recently. They were able to arrive early (which was great for my schedule), and completed the work in a timely and thorough manner. I had one small tree removed, and several other trees trimmed, and some big dead branches removed from a large oak. All of the trees look great, and the crew did a great job cleaning up. They did not leave any debris in the yard, which made me very happy. I thought the price was very fair, and I will definitely use Brett and his team again.

Sometimes it’s not just about tree removal…sometimes it’s cat removal! Our family cat was missing for days. We finally heard her meowing and discovered she decided to climb a 50 ft pine tree and didn’t come down. Fire Depts and Animal Control said they couldn’t help. I called Brett at Longhorn because they were close to us. He was so nice and although his crew was done for the day, he and his wife came out with a bucket truck and got out girl out of the tree. So thankful there are still good, kind people in this world. Longhorn Tree Service will be our number one service for trees now (hopefully not for cats!)

Longhorn did a great job in my yard. They removed 4 large trees, ground the stumps, and trimmed some other trees. One tree was very difficult access in my backyard next to a wood fence. Not a single branch or tree landed on the fence. They have high quality equipment and good techniques for removing limbs and not damaging the house or fence. They did a great job with the clean up. Price was good for the amount of work they did. I recommend using Longhorn, especially for large and difficult access trees.

Brett and his team were very efficient, professional, skilled,
friendly, and helpful. We got 6 trees removed and then stumps grinded.
You would never imagine that there were ever huge trees there before.
We were impressed with the thorough clean up after they completed the
job.
Another point that was important to us is that they use a "Spider"
instead of a crane. We were worried that a crane might break the
driveway (part was new and part was very old). They had more equipment
to haul away the big trunks, etc.
The access to the backyard was complicated, but THEY prepared it in a
way that they got everywhere easily.
They also did a very thorough job grinding all the stumps.
In conclusion, We don't have enough words to praise them. THE BEST!!!

These guys are awesome! We came home from the beach last Sunday, and much to our surprise a huge limb had fallen out of a tree in our front yard and damaged 3 of our cars, literally crushing and totaling one of them. The next morning I called Longhorn, and Brett, the owner answered personally. I told him the situation and where I was and he said he would come over and take a look. He was here within 20 minutes, gave me a very, very fair quote, and his crew was here later that day and had the limb cleared away and hauled off in less than an hour! The crew was very friendly, professional, and thorough. I highly recommend them!

Incredible work at very fair prices. I found these guys on a Facebook Marketplace ad so I was skeptical as I was pulling quotes from everywhere.

Israel replied immediately, scheduled a site visit within 24 hours and arrived early. Israel gave a quote and scheduled a date to start, with an estimated date of competition within 5 minutes of assessing the job. I was skeptical, to say the least, as the price was on the lower end of the quotes I had gathered.

The job was finished ahead of time. I had some scope creep where I requested additional work and Israel never blinked, just said,"Yes, but this is the price for the additional work," and got it done immediately.

He arrived with a fleet of tools and a crew I was absolutely not expecting. He had 6 men on the crew and two guys running dump trucks and clearly is equipped like one of the biggest players in the local market.

I have never seen a crew work so hard and so diligently with as much care for the space. They picked up after themselves every day and left our property free of any debris of their own. These guys worked tirelessly and went above and beyond all expectations. Their work ethic is exemplary. They even graded out the spots where the stumps had been, which was not discussed as part of the scope of work.

I would absolutely leverage their services again. It's refreshing to see work of this caliber is still happening. I'm disappointed by the majority of contractors these days so this anomaly prompted me to take the time to write a well deserved, glowing review.
