Electrical reviews in Rockingham, North Carolina

Great crew, great management, amazing work.

Very nice people and they do great work

Had an issue with an older home with prior addition which made it difficult to track down the problem, but they took care of it. Very professional. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Pretty Darn Good !!
The tech knew his stuff !!
He listened, addressed the electrical issues and repaired what could be repaired.
I've used JT Yates several times and will continue to !! They have my recommendation !!

Mr. John Yates was very smart to tell me what the problem was and finding it in the line was the real problem. Anywhere in the wire could be a trouble once they found it and worked hard doing it, Chris fixed it and got everything right. If I need anymore electrical work done it will be Yates and ask for Chris!

I want to thank the two guys that came by our home and fixed the problem right away. Thank you J.T. Yates electric service for help us with our problems. I highly recommend them.

Had my panel/meter base replaced. Despite a couple of hiccups the job was still completed on time and I had power back on within 6 hours. The craftsmanship was also good. Also the best price.

I had a terrible experience with Yates Electric. They came out to give a quote, started the job, and then never completed the work. I kept being told they would come back, but no one ever showed up. Weeks later, someone finally called to apologize and said the rest of the work would get done — but again, no one came.

After waiting almost two more weeks, someone randomly showed up with an adjusted invoice, removing the work they never completed. No one called to inform me of any changes, no updates, no communication — just an invoice for a job they didn’t finish.

This is a business, and we depend on proper lighting and electrical work to operate. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to complete the job caused major inconvenience. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I would not recommend them.
