Fixed a mess another “electrician” made of my electrical outlets. Amazing work!

From the very beginning I was nervous because he stood there with his arms crossed leaning against the wall the whole time he talked to me. He didn’t look at anything under the house or in the attic before he quoted me for the work, but I needed something fast and he was the only one not booked out for months. Now I know why. He missed critically important information by not examining the wiring from day one even though I told him explicitly what the inspector had found before—he didn’t believe me. The quoted 2.5 day project took over 4 working days spanning across nearly 3 weeks from the day he started. The start day was delayed multiple times as well. We completely missed our deadline. On the last day he found exactly what I told him was there the whole time. He immediately called the county inspector (before he even called me). He was very chummy with one of the county inspectors who ignored his mistakes that we now have to go back and fix. Even though the county inspector passed us it was a clearly fire hazard, the fire inspector agreed, and my insurance certainly wouldn’t cover me if I left it that way. He installed exit signs so crooked and off center I have to go back and try to fix it but I don’t think I can. He butchered my baseboards with his saw so badly I couldn’t do anything to fix it but try to paint over it. I wish I would have gone with anyone else. I can’t undo the damage he did to my property, and he did nothing to fix the main problem he refused to believe or even look for from day one.

I had an issue with my old meter panel, I had another electrician come out who refused to fix the old part but would only replace both panels. I called Ricks and they came out the next day with the part I needed and had it installed in less than an hour (most of the time was spent waiting for the city to disconnect service), and the price was very fair. Great guys, very friendly, and great service.
