I feel this year quality of treatment went down. I had many weeds and grass didn't look as good as usual . There was always an excuse by them for my concern

Since switching to Barefoot to manage my lawn care earlier this year I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Today Dennis, the technician was her to treat Dove weed which has been a major problem in my neighborhood. He is knowledgeable and courteous, and's took his time to explain the treatment. I highly recommend Barefoot!

08/08/2025: I hired Barefoot Lawn Care five (5) or more years ago. Their products worked great and my lawn was the best looking in the neighborhood. (According to the neighbors.)

I had a couple of issues with the techs not always treating the area specified in my contract. Several times they just missed areas. Also, the spot spraying they did with weed killer was "spotty" at best.

I had called and complained enough times that when they treated my lawn in March, 2025 and missed a large patch, I fired them. I was just tired of complaining and not seeing any improvement. The supervisor I dealt with in the past may have addressed the issues with the techs, but mistakes were still being made.

Five months later (August, 2025), after I calmed down, I called and spoke with the owner, Scott Reeder. We spoke for about 20 minutes. He let me explain the past issues, and then he addressed them all. I liked what I heard and rehired them.

He got his new supervisor, Josiah, in touch with me. Josiah came out the next day and was here for about 30 minutes. We went over the issues in my yard and I was impressed with his knowledge. He said he would take care of some of the problem areas the following week and he personally did.

The same day he came out, the tech, Tyler, also came out to do the regular treatment service. Before he started, I spoke with Tyler and found out Josiah had gone over my concerns with him.

I am very glad I called them and gave them another chance to get it right.
Would I recommend them? Yes.

I started using this company 2 years ago. Unfortunately I had to cancel services with them cause of several reasons. The results just were not there. When I first hired them, I had minimal weeds in my grass. Since they have taken over, my yard is covered in weeds. It’s the worst my yard has ever looked. They come and spray but the weeds continue to grow and thrive. The weeds don’t die after being sprayed which I’ve also never seen before. I purchased a weed killer from Ace hardware and the weeds I sprayed all died in a few days so obviously Barefoot is not doing something right since anytime they sprayed, not a single weed would die and quality of my lawn continued to get worse. They are nice people and they show up so I was going to let them finish the season before cancelling but last week was my final straw. I noticed on the garden bed service, they only did the front yard and not the back like they were contracted to do. When I called and asked why, they said there’s a note to do front only. I asked where this note came from and who approved that cause no one ever contacted me and I never gave that approval. They told me I would have to speak to the tech. Not a manager or owner, but the tech? Okay, very odd. I speak to the tech and he tells me they are only doing the front yard cause they didn’t price it out properly and price was too low. So instead of telling me this, they took it upon themselves to never treat the back yard gardens for who knows how long. I also advised they made site visit, saw and measured all the gardens and priced accordingly so why now is this the issue and why did no one say anything to me? Since they measured and priced it out, their numbers should be accurate. If not, then call to discuss and tell me this. There was no communication at all. They just decided to alter and change my signed contract without my approval or giving me any notice or explanation. Why have a signed contract then? I’ve since met with two new companies who priced out the same services and new prices I’m receiving are almost the same as barefoot’s price that they said was “too low.”

Damon, Andrew & Brian arrived this AM for our Fall Renovation. They were professional & courteous. They listened to a number of concerns I had about run off from neighboring property and discussed possible lawn remedies for next spring, once I have the runoff issues corrected. Crews like Damon, Andrew & Brian make it a pleasure to do business with Barefoot.

Used Barefoot for years on recommendation of a family member in a nearby town. Now dozens of our neighbors use them too. Excellent service.

Does't work. They came a week ago and my yard is just full of weeds. And we have been with barefoot for over 4 years, they used to be good, but now, we don't know what happened. We have complained many times to then, and still no results.
