My experience was pleasant... The attendants were helpful- any question I had was answered promptly... The prices are reasonable and they have a large selection if items.

Really knowledgeable staff, and the best prices I've found in the Charlotte area. If you've been to Greenville NC, this place is a lot like "Plant and See".

I am new to the area and needed some landscaping done on my new 1 acre lot .... I had driven by Mikes Growers Outlet and thought I would stop by for some ideas and set up an appointment .....After they reviewed my property and made suggestions, I hired them for work installing new shrubs and trees and moving some existing plants .... I was promised certain sizes on the trees and shrubs being used .... What I received was a different story ....The quality of the plants plus the sizes were not as promised and the installation was just as bad .... I had 5 Holly trees planted in back for privacy that had many broken branches .... I said to the landscape designer about my displeasure and he could have cared less ..... I would not recommend this place .... Head over to Lowes right down the road .... Plus you would get a better value and a better warranty there .....

I've been hear many times over the years. Mike's Growers Outlet has a beautiful selection of plants and flowers and his staff is always available to give their expert advice!

The person that helped me was so helpful and very nice. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. They are also very knowledgeable, if they don't have the answer about a plant, they take time to do research.

Large selection, mostly for outdoor landscaping. Stock seemed a little low (in May). I think it is best to get there early in spring. Staff was very helpful. Lots of never seen before stock.

I love shopping for plants here. Such a large variety of beautiful healthy plants. I enjoy finding plants that I don't see other places.

I love Mike's Growers Outlet. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable & you can't beat the prices. Hands down, this is the place to go over big box stores and the more expensive alternatives.

I prefer to support a local business and Mike’s typically has a good selection but they are so unfriendly I don’t think I can keep shopping there. Literally scowling at me…with a cart full of plants! I miss Bud’s!!!

Although our initial experience was good (Services, Plant variety and knowledge) we were in the end very disappointed that Mike would not stand by his products and services. Upon our introduction they helped layout a landscape design and came over to move some existing plants (For a services fee) and plant some new items. A couple months later several of the moved plants (at they're suggestion) have died. When we reached out to Mike to see if he could work with us on this problem he explained that it was not his problem. There are too many alternatives for garden and plant supplies to work with someone that does not stand behind their work.

Purchased a tree in the spring and also paid for it to be planted by Mike's. From the start the tree had problems, leaves falling almost immediately, turning brown. Contacted Mike's and was told to keep watering it because it was so hot. Problems continued, contacted Mike's again and was told the same thing. Finally contacted an arborist (after the 3 month warranty had expired, unfortunately) who came to evaluate the tree. Turns out it was planted incorrectly, at least 6 inches too deep and the plan for landscaping around the tree, which was also discussed with Mike's, was incorrect as well. Have adjusted the landscaping and have fixed the depth as much as possible; now hoping it can recover from the onset of blight that has occurred. Overall - poor service and sharing of "expertise".

Small but great selection. Very good prices, especially on delivery and planting. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Worth the drive. Lots of large trees available in the back field!

Yesterday, we drove from Mooresville to Mike's Landscaping as the store has been advertised on TV. OMG - this is the best place for plants and trees I have ever visited. I felt like I was in a tropical forest surrounded by every plant you can imagine. The selection is great, and please know they have all kinds of dwarf citrus trees. I bought a Meyer Lemon Tree. The help was A+.

The Best! Great variety & prices, unique plants. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and make you feel appreciated. The make sure you get what You want and that the plant is suitable for the area you are wanting to put it. You won't be disappointed!

What an amazing place! I called here looking specifically for papyrus and other plants to give my mom for her birthday to landscape her new pool. Mike answered the phone and was incredibly helpful at selecting appropriate plants.

They closed at 6pm and I was struggling through traffic to get from Kannapolis to the nursery by that time. I called ahead and Mike said it would be no problem if i got there a bit late. He was waiting there to help me when I pulled in at 6pm. We picked out some great plants and I had a lot of fun while I was there. They have quite an amazing (and extensive) selection of plants. I couldn't recommend them any more!

If you want to buy from people who really know plants! I've actually been told to come back and buy later because it was still too early. Big box stores won't do that. Great people, great knowledge.

Mike's Growers always has the greatest selection and those uncommon finds. I like unusual plants, not your run of the meal stuff. I bought $70 worth this week.

Staff helped me pick something specific I needed too.
