Every year I go to Mike’s Growers Outlet in Stanley, NC. Every person helping me is very patient - spending lots of time with me. I am always sooo happy with how they explain every detail of how, when & where to put plants. GREAT place to get things for your yard!!!🌟🌟🌟

Had them come out and do a landscape design, and hired them to install plants in my front planter bed. Great work on installing them. I did have a few plants that didn't survive very long, and Mike's had them replaced free of charge. However, I have 3 perennials and 1 azalea that aren't looking too great - not sure if it's too late to have them replaced either. Spent a lot of money on those plants and hoped that they were healthier.

There's a huge selection of annuals, perrenials, vegetable plants, trees, and bushes. Everything is well cared for and the variety is impressive. The customer service is super, and the prices are very reasonable.

I wish we had some help loading our trees. The lady was very nice, however, and knowledgeable.

Mike's Growers Outlet is awesome! I have bought from them before and they have great quality! Just stopped in today for some guidance on a project and Tara had time due to a cancelation and came right over to my property to help me put together a plan. She is extremely knowledgeable! She sent me an email back within the hour with ideas and prices. So looking forward to the finished product. Highly recommend!

Great prices, especially for trees and herbs compared to other well-known local nurseries. Friendly staff willing to help. Have returned several times this season for purchases. Have recommended to several neighbors to visit.

Love, love, love this nursery. Neighbor told us about it. Bought 15 shrubs in April/May, all of them doing well and blooming. The staff there is great. Highly recommend Lisa. She helped us with shrubs and my latest purchase of flowers.

The employees enjoy gardening and have thorough knowledge of plants. They helped me select the best perennial plants for my patio. I love going there because their selection and prices are competitive and the customer service is top notch.

This nursery is wonderful! I needed a ton of work on our landscaping. Tara came out and did a great job planning what would look best. A year later, everything is thriving and it looks beautiful! Everyone there is very helpful. Will definitely return!

We are very pleased with our experience at Mike's Growers Outlet. The staff is very knowledgeable and the prices of both the plants and installation are very reasonable. Our trees were just installed today and the crew was respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. Upon job completion, they gave us instructions on how to care for our new trees and thanked us for our business. We would highly recommend them.

We used Mike’s Growers Outlet for our new home. We met with Tara and she was so helpful in showing us what shrubs and trees would grow best in our soil and according to where the sun and shade was during the day. Without her expertise, we would have spent money unwisely. She thoroughly went over the care and upkeep of each plant with us. The crew that came out to plant everything was very knowledgeable, tidy and friendly. Upon completion, they did a walk through with us to make sure we were happy with the result. We’re so pleased with how our yard looks! We will continue to use Mike’s Growers Outlet and highly recommend them.

This company doesn’t care about customer service or standing behind their products. They planted poor quality trees that had issues right away and wouldn’t replace since they only have a 3 month warranty. Save your money and go to a reputable nursery.

We don’t live near by but stopped in while in the area. I was looking for specific plants, the lady was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a great variety of outdoor plants. I will definitely return when we are back in the area.

Mike's is one of my favorite places to get plants. Prices are mostly on par, usually less than other places. They're especially good for fruit trees. Good selection of ornamentals as well as peppers and tomatoes.

Mike's was recommended to us by our new neighbors. Our experience was great. Tara has outstanding knowledge of what shrubs , trees, and plants grow well in this area. She listened to our tastes and designed a landscaping package that fit our needs perfectly. The installation went just as promised. We found their prices for the plants and labor to be an excellent value.

My original review was about how helpful everyone is, then I read what looks like a wife & husband review. I called in and spoke to Tara since the review sounded slanderous. The paperwork and email documentation showed that the trees were planted in the first week April of 2023 and one died. That tree was replaced in the first week of May of 2023 at no charge. The man reached out via email to Tara in late May of 2024 and there was no phone conversation with the female in 2024. Mike even offered to replace a replacement that they could plant, even though he was under no obligation to do so! Such a shame that people fabricate words to try and hurt a small local veteran owned business that has been there for 20 years. Thank you Mike for your service! I liked Tara's response about the reviews, just have to shake it off even though on our end nothing was done incorrectly and remember that Kindness doesn't cost a thing. The truth always comes out when someone is looking for it.

Had a wonderful experience here. Mike & Tara are true plant lovers, and incredibly smart with their craft of botany. They answered questions that I had & made sure I left with all the knowledge going forward with my new plant babies. You’ve got yourself a long time customer & I can’t wait to return in the spring to see the newest collection. This is a indoor/outdoor gardeners dream! Highly recommend for y’all your plant needs.

Great selection just be sure to avoid asking any questions. Apparently asking questions is annoying these days. Maybe it was just an off day but might rather drive to Pikes nursery. Way less irritable there.

We had the worst experience with this company. Save your money and go somewhere else! They planted 2 cherry trees. One died immediately and dealt with Tara about replacing it. She was extremely rude and had to call 10 times and practically beg her to get it replaced. They left a tight plastic tag on the new one that caused holes in the trunk. The following season both trees died after flowering and a professional nursery diagnosed it as a fungal disease. Called the owner because we didn’t want to deal with Tara again. He denied it was anything they did wrong and offered to replace one tree. He was so rude and disrespectful he had me in tears after I hung up! I would highly recommend going to a credible nursery that knows how to treat their customers and stands behind their products. I’m getting Pike’s Nursery in Cornelius to replace these tress.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mike's Growers. We have been working with them for years. Tara, Buzz and the team are awesome to work with. They have turned our yard into quite the oasis!! All the plants are thriving and look beautiful! You will not be disappointed and highly recommend them!
