Called for a repair. Service man told me what time he would be there and was right on time. Seemed knowledgeable made repair quickly for a reasonable price. Well pleased!

Great business. Good quality used and new appliances. Small-ish selection. Friendly, un-pushy customer service. Wonderful delivery person. 30 day warranty on used is comforting.

I have always bought my appliances at Bob Young's. My best experience was when I was keeping my young grand children and my washer went out. I called Bob Young and told him what I needed and he brought me a washer and installed it upon payment. That meant a lot to me. Thank you Bob Young.😃

Used to be one of the best places to get used appliances. I will say they stand by their products and gave me a full refund for the items I had gotten... But both items I had gotten there was defective and didn’t work correctly. I have bought there in years past and never had a problem with any of their appliances but more and more people are saying that this place isn’t what it’s used to be... Hope they can figure out a way to come up with better business products than what they have now.

They have always done right by us. We bought a washer and dryer from them. The washer had a problem and they swapped it out for a different model becuase others had had problems with the same model. The repairman, Jose, is excellent and very helpful. They will be getting repeat business from us.

Called asking about refrigerators and was told they just got in a large selection with a price range of $200-$300. After driving 45 minutes they only had 1 (well worn) and it was $350!!! Their lack of being truthful cost me an afternoon and probably $20 of gas.

John initially came out to our house and was able to properly diagnose the issue with our dishwasher. The part was ordered and the repair /re-installation was completed within 4 days. Thank you John for your attention to our family!

Myself and most everyone I know, buys their used appliances from them with complete satisfaction. I don't know of anyone that wasn't happy with their purchase

I have gotten most of my appliances from Bob Young over the past 5 years, and have never been disappointed. You know you are getting a good deal with them. And they stand behind everything they sell for a certain time. The things I got off Craigslist have not been that way. I need another washer soon and am planning a trip there, even though it is out of my way, because of their unbeatable deals. -Gordon

I called to ask if they had any deep freezers in stock. The woman I spoke with was very rude..turn off number one..if you can't handle providing courteous, friendly customer service over a phone, it won't be much better in person. I was told they didn't have any and wouldn't until " probably in June sometime ". So I asked if she could tell me what the price range is when they are in stock. Again, a heavy, annoyed sigh.. The professional response I received.." I just don't know the answer to that, but I will tell you the prices will be going up when we get them in..its just the nature of the business ". Well my money is best spent elsewhere..you know, where customer service actually is just the nature of the business and they aren't unnecessarily trying to profit off a need due to a national pandemic..pathetic..

Just had Jose out to my house to repair my dryer. He knew just what the problem was and fixed it immediately. The price was EXACTLY what he quoted as well. I figure I ended up saving at least the additional $400.00 even a low-cost new dryer would have entailed. If I ever need any other appliances repaired, I'll definitely go to BYA Inc. Three thumbs up!

Honest hardworking people. Took my dryer in the get looked at and the man had it fixed and running in 20 minutes and showed me what to do if it happens again. Can't ask for better service and wouldn't take my stuff anywhere else. Also was VERY reasonably priced. Not only on repairs but on their appliances as well. Like I said honest, hardworking people.

Had dryer issue , Jose came out and fixed issue , he was very nice and and I’d recommend him to anyone needing service work !

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Bob Young Appliance. Our mountain house refrigerator had an issue with the door closing all the way. We were told by another company that it would take over two weeks to get the part and get it repaired, that we should just buy a replacement. After buying a replacement through a big box store they failed to deliver it after three attempts and cancellations. I called Bob Young Appliance and he found a cheaper but same quality replacement that could have been delivered same day. But then he also tracked down the part for our broken refrigerator and was actually able to fix it instead within 4 days. He saved us over $1400!!!! They were kind, quick to respond and had excellent customer service throughout. He didn’t have to follow through on locating the part - he could have just sold us the new refrigerator and made more money for himself, but instead he had the customer’s best interest at heart. I will trust him 100% going forward for any appliance repair or replacement issues. Great well run company!!

TRUCK DRIVERS BEWARE:

This place is not set up for trucks for a couple reasons:

1) No loading dock or proper equipment. Trailer was unloaded with a pick up truck and a ramp, these are floor loaded loads.

2) Delivery can take hours

3) The middle of their parking lot has a VERY STEEP DROP then an Incline. 90% chance of your trailer bottoming out and getting stuck.

4) Ditch along the road causing a tipping hazard.

Not worth taking this load for $1/M from their other store with all the risks and damage your equipment is at risk of. This is a business that should be ran out of a warehouse, not sure how brokers agree to send trucks to either locations.

Updating to add my recent experience.
Originally I have gotten a fridge and dryer at a reasonable price. The people who work here are very polite and helpful. Delivery fee is reasonable. I bought a stove from them at a reasonable price, payed the delivery fee, and was told it'd be delivered by 3pm. Ten minutes to close it still hadn't arrived and I called to find out what's going on. They told me they wouldn't deliver it until in the morning because they were behind. That's fine but I wish they'd have called me to let me know, which I told him. They take your phone number when you pay and people have jobs and obligations. He apologized and insisted it'd be the next morning. Once my stove was delivered the next morning he did call to make sure it had arrived, so I appreciate the attempt to repair. This isn't an incident that would make me not want to come back, I would still recommend this place to others. Just be aware delivery time may vary wildly from the time you were told to be ready.

Was in bind and needed a part. Gave Bob’s a call. Had the part. Sold it for a reasonable price and even gave some advice to follow up on the repair. Friendly staff.

Bob Young’s was great to work with, really helped us out in a pinch. We needed a refrigerator next day for a Christmas party the following evening. Jose’ was so accommodating & got us lined up for an early morning delivery so the new fridge would have time to get cold. Our delivery guy, Paul, was in & out, super friendly, & professional. They hauled away the old fridge for us. Highly recommend these guys.
