If you are in search of an experienced landscaping company in the RTP area, I'd strongly recommend contacting Southern State Landscaping. Not only were they able to come out on very short notice, they also explained everything they would recommend to maintain the lawn. They have been doing an excellent job at taking care of my lawn and I am glad that I chose to work with this company :)

This was the absolute worst service I have ever received. They could not get it right. I had to get rid of them after only few visits. The didn't cut all of my yard.The didn't know where my property lines were even after my wife showed them. The blew grass in to all our freshly filled mulch beds. The guy showed up with a cigarette hanging out his mouth and looked very unprofessional. Called the owner/manager and he had no answers. After multiple times of the same issues you can't expect else to let you come back. My neighbors even complained. I would strongly recommend hiring someone else. We now have a new service and he cares about our property and it shows in his work.

Joseph and his team are knowledgeable and very helpful. He really tries to look out for your best interest. Sometimes his communication can be a bit hit or miss because they're a small, busy team but he tries his best.

They planted 33 Green Giants on my property and did an outstanding job. They were very knowledgeable about the different tree options I would highly recommend them for any landscaping needs without hesitation.

Joe and his team have done an amazing job. I learned about the company through a friend, and it was an answer to prayer. They care for about 3 to 4 acres of our property - pruning when needed and maintenance including mowing, weed eating, trimming. They are fast, reliable, timely, friendly, and have a good price. They did an initial full "blitz" to get it under control and have maintained since then so it to looks great again (it had become wild) - thank you Southern State Landscape!

I had Landgreen come out and complete several tasks for me. Restoned the driveway, mulched some beds, put out pine straw, cleared behind my fence, and even took care of some stumps for me. So happy to have all this knocked out and my yard looking fantastic finally.

Very pleased with the service provided. I had downspout drains buried to carry water away from my house, and the work was completed in one day with minimal disturbance. Crew was very good to work with and efficient.

Also have the monthly maintenance plan and so far I have been very pleased with the service provided.

I called a young man who used to do mulching and some landscaping in the past for us but because he was only doing business properties, he gave me Mason Hill's name. Before I could even get to my phone, George had called Mason who called me. He came over the same day and spoke to me about what I wanted to do. I was excited to tell him all the needed ideas and help. Mason worked with me kindly, for over a week to get to the budget that I needed, always considerate to redo the proposal a couple of times. He gave me suggestions and was extremely knowledgeable about my troubled bushes. I was surprised and delighted when agreeing on a proposal, it was just a few days before they came. His team of young men was hard-working, friendly, polite, and very meticulous. They did the work we asked for and helped us with a large limb that fell the day before with a storm that was not on the invoice. My husband and I could not move it and these two great young men took care of it! They were fantastic and cleaned up everything, even blowing off our deck and patio after the storm. I recently retired & needed to downsize my 5 gardens so I could manage easier after rotator cuff surgery last fall. I will definitely have them come again next year when I dream up ideas for the next garden. I recommend this company wholeheartedly.

NOTE: We ultimately changed our direction with the work we wanted done, and haven’t used this company, but I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my experience with the owner, Mason. He is a young, enthusiastic business owner who got his start before he was able to legally drive. He would have his grandfather drive him to each of his jobs as needed. Since that very dedicated beginning he has grown his company exponentially, yet, from my interaction with him, he has maintained the same level of commitment and dedication to his customers and potential customers. In my discussions with him as to what I wanted done, he was able to describe in detail how he would handle the job and what it would entail. He is young, but he most definitely knows his business. I won’t hesitate to call him again if our needs change. Use him and you are helping a local business succeed, but more importantly I am confident that you will be helping yourself as well by getting a quality job done at a very competitive price point. I had complete confidence in him after speaking with him about our project.
