FAST, courteous service Technician was very respectful of our home, put down a drop cloth under the work area and double-checked before he left. We are very pleased with work that was done. Bretco should be proud to have this level of skilled craftsman working for them.

Honestly, was drawn to this company by its logo and website. But was extremely pleased with the work. We needed a breaker checked and replaced (for our AC). Steve was our tech. Very personable, had no problem answering my many questions (and curiosity surrounding the panel). h Steve not only replaced the breaker, he checked the wiring to every breaker to make sure it was snug and tight.

SO GLAD I picked Bretco. Will be my go to electricians from now on!

If you are a woman, do NOT use this company. I have used them several times, each time was worse than the time before.In the early years they were great. I don't know if ownership has changed, but my last 3 experiences have been unsatisfactory. If you call to register a complaint or report damage, the owner will not call you back. I was quoted $150, max $200 to switch out a GFI switch (a $20 part and 5 min labor). The man spent 40 min (20 of it just chatting) and I received a bill for over $300!!!!!! I specifically told the young woman who took my call that I needed an estimate because I could not afford to pay $300 to switch out a GFI. She assured me the max would be $200 and more likely $150 including the charge for transportation. I have contacted several other companies since who said they would have charged between $75 and $150 max. I believe they take advantage of me because they equate being a woman with being stupid. In one aspect I am stupid, I used them again. But I was desperate and couldn't take the time to research other companies. The actual person who came out was nice. I even had the owner yell at me one time and tell me he had other customers and didn't have time to return my calls. I'm smarter now and will never recommend this company to my friends that ask for recommendations. Perhaps if you are a man, you will receive better results.

Had an appointment to get a quote to get some light fixtures. The guy came out, I think the son of the owner because he kept saying I will give this to my dad and he will get back to you in a in a couple of hours. Paid the $50 for the quote. I never got the quote or the call. I was supposed to get a call the same day- never did. I called the following day- the receptionist said I would be getting a call. Still haven't gotten the call 3 days later. Definitely not using this company. Please keep your word- integrity is everything.

I was quite disappointed with Bretco. It took several calls to even schedule an appointment and they never called me back after multiple inquiries. They then charged $274 to fix a light switch in my house. I had requested an estimate to fix the electricity to a back shed and accent lighting in my front yard - they literally dug a hole in my yard, filled it back in, and told me I would have to call to reschedule for another estimate. I would highly recommend against this company - quite unprofessional.

I hired Bretco to replace several lights, install ceiling fans, install light fixtures, add junction boxes, and figure out some mystery wires. They did a great job for a good price. I would hire them again.

Really happy we went with Bretco Electric! We wanted to replace a light fixture in our two story foyer and my husband quickly realized he was out of his depth. I was able to get an appt the very next day, after two calls to another electrician without any response. Technicians showed up on time and were very personable and professional. They even fixed and troubleshooted a smart switch that we had installed incorrectly. Then, they moved up a fixture in my dining room that was hanging too low, which wasn’t on the original work order. Rate was reasonable, too, compared to the other estimate I received. Will be calling again for any other electrical needs. Thank you!

Highly recommend! Our GFIs in the kitchen failed this morning and they were so responsive and helpful. Saved me a fridge full of groceries and my sanity. They worked quickly and professionally. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.

Finding a good electrician is as important as finding a good plumber. Bretco checked off all our boxes. I spoke with Randy a few days prior to our appointment as he wanted to fully understand what service we required. Matt and Lane arrived on time (actually early), was professional, personable, knowledgable, reasonable. A pleasure to work with. While I may not need regular electrical work, it is good to know I can count on Bretco Electric. I highly recommend their services.

This is the first time I've used Bretco Electric but it will not be the last time! After I placed a call to their office explaining my electrical need, there was a electrician at my door within 30 minutes. He was able to diagnose the problem within seconds. Literally seconds. He explained (so I could understand) why my light wasn't working. It was because the switches had been wired incorrectly. He quickly rewired them and installed a couple more in another area while he was here. Great customer service, amazing response time and fantastic electrician. Stephen was nice, courtesy and respectful! Thank you Bretco Electric! I will highly recommend your company to friends and family for their electrical needs.

After having several electricians never call us back, Bretco called me back and they fit us in very quickly, which was great! But they are very expensive, so just be aware of that going into it! As of April 2024, they charged $120/hour for labor and they charge you for their supposed travel time and they round up to the nearest 1/4 hour. For example, they finished at 1 hour 4 mins, but they rounded up to 1 hour 15 mins, and charged for 30 mins of travel, even though the phone operator had said they were 15 mins away. They replaced two GFCI outlets and added a timer to our bathroom fan and it cost $350, which seemed pricey 😟 They don't clean up after, so be prepared to vacuum or sweep (especially if you have a dog that likes to eat everything).

We used Bretco to install a transfer switch for a generator. They were not the least expensive quote we got, but the time they took during the quoting process to explain how everything would work and mapping out what would be powered by the generator made using them a no brainer. The installation was exactly as promised. Their technicians are knowledgeable and personable. Since then, we used them to help us wire an extension we put on our house and the experience for that was the same. We would highly recommend Randy and his team to anyone.

I've worked with a lot of electrical contractors, but Bretco has been the best so far. Randy the owner is a great guy who always gives me a good deal. I've stuck with them throughout my renovation project on multiple occasions. Steve is great as well. He is a good man who does honest, good work, and I enjoy working with him when he and his team are working on my house. I would definitely recommend Bretco electric. They offer a fair price, they do good work, and they will treat you right.
