We had an excellent experience with Lusk Tree Service. Communication was great as they had to schedule the work around a lot of rain. They took great care to remove a very large tree without disturbing the surroundings. The Lusk team worked very well together and were very polite. Highly recommend.

This company does excellent work. they are careful of the lawn, they clean up after their work, and they do the work efficiently. I'm very happy with their service.

Lusk was great to work with. They came out right away to help us identify and look at trees we had concerns about in our new yard. They actually advised that no action should be taken at this time which was nice to hear. They provided this all free of charge and were very friendly. We will use them in a few months to do some trimming and would recommend them based on their honesty, friendliness, and knowledge.

Lusk cut down and removed a huge oak tree between my neighbor's house and mine quickly and cleanly, no problems at all. The neighbors slept through the entire process. Highly recommended!

We had a very large sweet gum tree that was hanging over our house removed. The Lusk team was careful not to damage our house or any trees or shrubs nearby. They had to take the tree down in sections. We were impressed with how careful they were when removing this tree. We would recommend their services and use them again in the future.

From the initial phone call to saying goodbye after the job was completed, Lusk gets 5 stars!! Tyler came to meet us and look at our trees first. He was so nice and polite and really knew what he was talking about. He made his recommendations and gave us a price. We were shocked at how reasonable his quote was. We were very pleased with his plan of action. It was obvious he put thought into it. Tanner and Chris showed up to do the work. They were very nice and very professional and got right to work. We were surprised only two men came for such a big job. We expected a crew. But they got busy and didnt even stop for a break. They did the job and then cleaned up. They didnt leave a single stick in the yard. They even cleaned up a pile I had left for the city to take. They worked so well together. We have had other well known tree companies out before. They brought full crews when they came. Tanner and Chris worked just as efficiently, if not better, and it took them no longer to get it done. We recommend this company 100%. We will use them again.

David and his team removed a large tree from my front yard. The team did an amazing job with the removal, clean up, and did so while maintaining a safe environment for us and the impacted traffic.

These guys were great! They arrived when they said they would, they worked from 7:30 am until almost 4:30pm. They removed the huge branches from our roof and attic with care, cut down the remainder of the tree and were very considerate of us and taking pauses when we needed to let our dogs out for a few minutes. They cleaned up great too. All the little things they did are what made this bad situation a little bit better! Thank you Davey Tree/Lusk!

My husband and I contacted Lusk Tree Care Services to come and assess an ash tree that was still standing but was showing no signs of foliage and we suspected needed to be removed, along with a willow oak tree that needed some pruning maintenance. We had used Lusk tree once before about 7-8 years ago with excellent results, so we had no hesitation in contacting them for tree service when this need arose. Ashley worked with us to arrange a time for David to visit our property to assess the situation with the ash tree and our pruning request and he advised us on the best course of action for both services. His crew, which was led by Gavin, expertly removed the ash tree that was at risk of falling and did an awesome job of pruning the willow oak, beautifying the tree in the process. Gavin and crew, worked efficiently and were cognizant to minimize any disruption to the lawn. After the service was complete, David checked back in with us to ensure that we were happy with the service and Ashley was very helpful in understanding when we would get invoiced for the service and our options for making payment when the invoice was received.

Great experience–Tanner and Chris cut back the massive oak over our house in no time at all and did an amazing job. They were extremely friendly, efficient, and the quality of work was top notch. Updated Post from 2020 — We recently had a large red oak tree fall and it created an unstable and dangerous situation with some other trees that could have potentially fallen on my house. David came out immediately to look at it and sent his crew the very next day to address this emergency (sometimes they are booked quite far out, so we are very thankful for David helping us out this way). It was a very large job and the crew did a phenomenal job. Tanner, who was leading our crew, is truly phenomenal at his work. They could not reach some trees with their crane because of our particular lot and house situation so he went up and rigged my 85-foot tree and dropped each and every piece from the canopy and the entire trunk precisely next to my fence without breaking the fence or any of the other small trees we were trying to save---if I would not have seen it myself, I would not have believed it to be possible. We really love nature and trees and Lusk Tree service is very conservative and they try to preserve and save as as many trees and as much of your yard as possible. If you need work done on your trees, don't look anywhere else, these folks are the best in town and provide very reasonable rates. They are well worth the wait for a job if they happen to be booked and if it's an emergency they really come through also.

Original Post from 2018 — We are very happy with the work the Lusk Tree Service crew has done recently on our property. David Lusk came and gave us great advice on taking care of the natural woodland behind a new house we purchased. We were pleasantly surprised when the estimate for removing three trees too close to the house came back super reasonable. His crew arrived a few weeks later and worked in between rain storms to complete the job. They took great care in maneuvering through some tight spaces in our backyard, without harming any more vegetation than absolutely necessarily. We were particularly impressed by the professional conduct of every single worker and appreciated how courteous they were. Lusk Tree Service came highly recommended from family friends and they did not disappoint. We will definitely be calling them again to help with any future forest or tree management issues so that we can properly care for our beautiful woodland.

We entertained four quotes before choosing Lusk Tree Service. We immediately appreciated the fact that their representative Derek, a certified arborist, is generous with his knowledge and approaches tree care with conservationist values. We also liked that Derek made on-site visits while the work was being done; and that he was so responsive to our texts, sometimes even after 5 p.m.! We did not get to meet any of the crew, but their work speaks volumes in terms of care and quality. The trees look happier, we feel safer, and we believe that this investment adds value to our home. They came and removed 12 trees from our yard and also did stump grinding. Entire job took 3 days as many were large trees. Just excellent work they left the yard clean and perfect for what we plan to use the space for. Thank you and highly recommend!! I left off James wanted to make sure I mentioned James and Tyler.
