Reviews of local pros in Fargo, North Dakota

Had a great experience working with Joshua. He was very fast at responding and came out to inspect the job site the same day that I called him.

David did a fantastic job! Cut down 7 trees and grinded an additional 4 stumps. Would have Northland and David return for future jobs!

Joshua was able to come very quickly and give me an estimate of removing a downed branch of my tree that was damaged during the storm the previous night. He gave me an estimate and was able to come back and do the work that afternoon. He did a great job on the tree removal and cleanup! He was very polite and considerate and I appreciated what a great job he did! I would very highly recommend Northland Tree and Stump
Removal! Customer service and quality work are everything and they provided both!

Northland tree was great, they dropped 7 trees at our house in Barnesville, ground up stumps and did a great job cleaning up, very professional and kept us informed of what they where doing, very nice gentlemen, they'll be back to take down any other trees we have.

Josh with Northland Stump did an amazing job removing a large stump from our yard in the Buxton area this summer (July 2025). We found him through an online search, and he was one of the only companies who actually got back to us and provided a quote. He was careful with our lawn, cleaned up thoroughly, and filled in the area where the stump had been. He even went above and beyond to help when unexpected damage occurred elsewhere in the yard. Great communication, showed up on time, and very reasonable pricing. We’d definitely hire him again—highly recommend Northland Stump to anyone looking for stump removal!

Northland did an amazing job. David and his crew were very transparent with pricing, what to expect from their work and were great at communicating thru out the work they did. They were fast and professional from start to finish. Highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for top quality work.

I needed a stump removed in my landscaping rock. They did a fabulous job moving the rock, putting it back & cleaning up. Even with inclement Spring weather, they were very quick to get it done & great communication. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Early in December we had a large tree removed by Northland. Quick response on an estimate and setting up removal. Very reasonable price, great communication, excellent work and cleanup. Highly recommend. Brian P

Some of the best electricians in the area.

Great experience - I called just after 8 am, hoping to get service the same day an electrician was here 30 minutes later to fix my problem. Very professional, fast and friendly service. I will definitely use them again. Thank you!

Refuses to honor a national contract with HSA home service warranty company claiming they don't take service calls past 3:00 when there business hours are clearly posted to 5:00PM.
Do not bother giving them the business as the service manager does not make honoring a home warranty service contract a priority , or much less follow what the hsa home warranty contract states as policy .

Derek Martin did a great job installing extra outlets in my garage. Stayed in contact with me, very professional, timely, efficient and pleasant. I would recommend Derek for any electrical job you may have. Also does great cleanup when he's finished.
