Walked in and all washers (that worked) were full of laundry. Dryers were the same. Piles of laundry were laying all over. What a dump. We left.

The owner was punctual and professional. His price was the best around, and he guaranteed his work.

Wow! K&D has a new owner for the last two years, and he's a professional. Apparently Dana has purchased the business and is starting anew. I'd use K&D in the past, and was okay with their business, but they needed some assistance. Their shop was a working shop, and not anything to write home about. However, they were helpful and I appreciated their products and guidance. So after not hearing back from Bismarck's companies, I decided to see if K&D was still in business Well, A NEW OWNER answered the phone. A HUGE thank you to Dana (owner) and K&D services for installing our new Amana furnace. We were extremely pleased with Dana's work and professionalism. We had contacted two other Bismarck services, who took our telephone number and said they would get back to us immediately; which they never did. Not only did Dana get back to me immediately, he came over, inspected the system and got us an estimate the next day. Although he could have fixed our old 1987 furnace, I told him we would just replace it. He followed through with contacting us immediately, installation and warranty registration. Within a couple of days we were up and running perfectly. It's nice to have a good hometown specialist in our area. I had never meet or heard of Dana before this, but trusted him to do our work, and am very glad we did. I will recommend him to other local people Here's a before and after of the new furnace. Thank you for staying local Dana.

During one of this winter’s many cold spells I came home on a Friday afternoon to find my furnace was not working. I called New Age HVAC and they made time in their extremely busy schedule to stop out and take a look. They got it working, though it definitely needed to be replaced (was 30 some years old). That very next week they came back and installed a new high efficiency furnace. I highly recommend New Age HVAC. They are very knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and go the extra mile for their customers.

I highly recommend New Age HVAC services. Last fall I needed a new hot water heater installed. I called New Age HVAC to install it and was very impressed with their company. So there was no question who to call when my 20 year old furnace quit working on the coldest day of this winter, which of course was on the weekend. I called New Age HVAC and they had a new High Efficiency furnace installed that same day. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and treated me with the utmost respect. THANK YOU New Age HVAC!

Frequently asked questions
-
Is GigoPro free to use?
Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing providers is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.
-
How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?
Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, active, and matches the category it claims. For regulated trades, we look for proper credentials, and inactive listings are hidden automatically.
-
How do I choose the right contractor?
Start with ratings and recent reviews, then compare the services offered, location, and response time. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes — not just the bottom line.
-
Can I list my business on GigoPro?
Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update your services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.
-
How often is the HVAC directory updated?
Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. This page, for example, is reviewed and updated monthly.
-
How often should I have my air system serviced?
At minimum, once a year — ideally a spring tune-up before cooling season and a fall check-up before heating season. Systems that run year-round, older units, and commercial systems often benefit from professional service twice a year.
-
Repair or replacement — how do I decide?
Ask each contractor for both a repair quote and an honest assessment of the unit's remaining life. As a general rule, if a repair costs more than a third of a new system, or your equipment is past its expected lifespan and breaking down repeatedly, replacement is usually the better value. Get two or three opinions before a decision this large.
-
Can companies on GigoPro handle emergencies?
Yes — many list emergency and same-day service in their profiles, with stated after-hours policies. Open the profile and check the response-time and availability information before you need it; in a real emergency, filter for companies that explicitly offer 24/7 service.
-
How much does service cost?
Costs vary by region, system type, and job — there is no honest single number. Reputable contractors provide written estimates after inspecting the system, and comparing two or three is the best way to understand what your job should cost.
-
Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?
Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the company and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs are exactly what helps the next homeowners in your city choose well — and what keeps listed professionals at their best.
