Electrical reviews in Akron, Ohio

AC electric is my go to company for all my electrical needs. I’ve been working with this company since 2014. Knowledgeable staff with prompt service.

I needed to vent my bathroom fan outside of the house when I was selling the house. They came in and discovered it was already vented outside. Better inspector than the inspector the buyers use. I highly recommend them!

Simply the best. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and upfront every time. Always make sure they explain everything and all the options before moving forward so I can make informed decisions. Every visit and service I’ve had from them has been exemplary. Absolutely recommend.

Estevania replaced a light fixture in my home office, and I couldn’t be more pleased! She installed the new fixture quickly and efficiently, leaving absolutely no trace of the work, not even a speck of dust. A true professional through and through!

I've used AC for a couple jobs over the past few years, a meter head installation as well as more recently installing an outdoor light on our back porch. From the estimating process to the actual installation, Asmint and Todd are 100% professional. They show up on time, communicate well and clean up the job site better than they started! Highly recommend.

From Asmint to his crew. I couldn’t thank this company enough for everything they have done and the safety they have provided my family. Asmint personally came out the first time, he listened to the problems I was having, explained how things worked, what would need done and why it needed done. Then he throughly looked at the electric, left and provided me multiple quotes and let me choose which one I would want to go with. If I had questions afterwards he was available. His response time was quick and efficient. Once the crew came they were just as knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and respectful. Everyone I have encountered at AC was so friendly and helpful. Honestly this is my first home so I wasn’t sure what was doing or getting myself into but I am so glad I did my research on multiple electrical companies and chose this one. Definitely will remain a customer for life. Great Job AC Electric!!

I had an excellent experience with AC Electric. Their team was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly, offered fair pricing, and completed the job efficiently without cutting corners. The quality of their work really shows — everything was done neatly and up to code.

It’s not easy finding reliable electricians these days, but AC Electric definitely stands out for their honesty, skill, and great customer service. I’ll be calling them again for any future electrical work and highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable professionals

Corey did an excellent job helping me with the electric in my home. My cabin is a prefab and came pre-wired but is off grid. Corey helped tie in my solar battery/system to the main panel.

Hired Cory to work on an AV installation project in my living room that required an extensive amount of work. Cory installed speaker wiring to 11 locations throughout the room, including installing 4 in-ceiling Atmos speakers. He also made modifications to an existing stone facade fireplace wall to support the installation of a fully articulating TV mount supporting a 98" TV, and moved an existing outlet on the wall to behind the TV mount, with fiber-optic HDMI cabling run to the same place. All of the speaker and HDMI wiring were terminated to a central location for connection to my AV receiver. Furthermore, he also built a custom shelving insert out of oak, replacing the pre-existing electric fireplace, to house the center channel speaker. He also installed an antenna in my attic, wiring it to the same location. Cory did an amazing job with the install, with excellent attention to detail, I have no hesitation recommending him to anyone and plan on hiring him again in the future for additional projects.

Great service — Cory helped me with several electrical issues and everything works perfectly now. Fast, reliable, and very easy to work with

Quality work, great price. Kept to his labor quote even though there were some unforeseen complications that resulted in additional time and materials needed. I highly recommend this company!

Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. He took the time to explain things clearly, was patient with my questions, and made sure everything was handled properly. You can tell he takes pride in his work I felt confident and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

This young man is thorough, reasonably priced, friendly, just all around he knows his stuff & gets it done.
I'm one that never gives a review right away. I like to be sure I'm happy with the job or product. So it has been 6 weeks and think its safe to review. We have had not one problem. We really will call him back. In fact I'm making a list 😊

Listen, if you have a problem, Cory will figure it out. Our really old house was a puzzle, and Cory just wouldn’t give up. I can’t say enough about this dude’s knowledge and work ethic. The charges for his work were very fair as well. I absolutely would hire him again.
