The guys did a great job trimming the oak trees. They were respectful of the grass by putting boards down and explained the process well.

Very unprofessional! The crew did a horrible job with the sod and left a mess not only at our house but neighbors as well. Spoke to the crew manager NICK and he was very combative and went as far as making up lies about what was said and done at the job site. Unfortunate for him, all the work done was videotaped on our security camera and neighbors as well!! Completely over priced, horrible work, unprofessional crew, and most of all extremely unprofessional crew manager (Nick)! There are plenty of amazing landscaping, etc companies that are local that will appreciate your business!!

Terrible experience. Got an estimate in October for a tree pruning and was told I was being put on the schedule. Was also told that Winter was the ideal time for pruning trees. In December, the work had still not been done. When I finally got a return email (they don't return calls or emails most of the time), I was told it should be done that week. It's now the middle of March and the work still isn't done.

Stay away! They either don't know how to use technology effectively (any off the shelf scheduling application would do this thinking for them) or they choose to ignore their customers. Awful. I've spent hours of my time essentially begging for their business.

See their canned response below. They did indeed "share with management" who simply forwarded this back to the guy that couldn't get it right all along. That guy called, essentially, to say "too bad." Wasted EVEN MORE OF MY TIME.

Bit pricey compared to other estimates. Still chose Davey tree because 1) Dean was professional and very informative re: work to be done. Tree men were right on it. Polite, answered all questions, and cleaned up everything

Dean, the arborist I worked with, was great! He provided me with a bunch of different options for my trees, and Davey was more affordable than other companies that I got quotes from. The team was punctual the day the work was done, and they had the rotting tree removed much quicker than the estimated! They left my yard clear of any dropped limbs, and put back anything they needed to move.

We were beyond pleased with the service we received from Davey Tree. The arborist who gave us our estimate explained his recommendations for each tree and gave us the opportunity to prioritize the work to be done. The service crew worked diligently, methodically, and took much care in leaving our property looking so much better. Thank you!

This company was hired by Embridge Gas.. thy arrived at my 80 year old mother’s woods and decimated a 20 foot path through her woods without her knowledge and without providing any paperwork. They provided not explanation and had horrible bedside manners. They then demanded from us how we wanted to handle the over 100 trees they took down. Supposedly, there was an easement, allowing them to do this. We were never provided the documentation supporting the easement, and my mom has owned this woods since the 1940s! Terrible company with terrible service. You try to call and talk to somebody and they just toggle you from person to person.. Such a disgrace that a company can do this and in the middle of winter destroying wildlife and property without any notification or documentation!

I want to thank the Davey Tree Experts who came and pruned and treated my Ash Tree this past summer. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Want to thank Zach Loraditch for his knowledge and advise on how to save my trees.

Very responsive and knowledgeable. The Arborist did a great job explaining what was wrong with my trees and the technicians and trimming crew were friendly and professional. Wonderful experience all around!

They did an amazing job trimming some trees but now they've sent me a "quote" to do more work and per the mailing I recieved I have to written mail request cancellation. This is not something I want nor the way I feel business should be done.

EDIT: It's been a week now since the company asked me to reach out and I haven't heard anything back.

EDIT: Resolved I had to reach out directly again before getting the answer I needed but I will raise my rating since it is clarified.

The Davey folks are great to work with. I had trees trimmed and shaped today. But the stand out was working with my well established Rhododendrons. They transformed them from large bushes into what appears to be wondrous trees. Just striking.

Davey took excellent, personalized care of my property. Their expertise and professionalism are unmatched. Tyler and the team handled all my tree care needs with care and precision. I’m truly grateful for their outstanding service.

Personable and professional. They knew their product well and competitively priced. The process was WAY better than straw blowing all over the place for a month and I definitely feel my lawn came in much faster and thicker. Highly recommend.
