I got several quotes for a sump pump and Summit was the best. I had work done in 2023 and 2025 and both times were great. Gabe was the foreman and did great work - would highly recommend

I decided to have my foundation walls reinforced after having the basement waterproofed years ago. I was discouraged to find that all of the basement companies had really bad customer reviews. I then came across Summit Basement Company and was relieved to see all very positive reviews. I called Summit and Jake came out the same day!

Jake, the co-founder, assessed my foundation and offered several solutions thoroughly explaining each one. He provided me with information about foundations, remediation, materials and installation. We also conversed about family, community and Summit’s history. He never once tried to upsell me on a more expensive solution and answered all of my questions honestly.

After meeting with Jake and considering Summit’s positive customer reviews, I was confident I could trust them with my foundation repairs. Jake said he would have a team out in 8 days! That is extremely fast in my experience with contractors. His team was prompt, efficient, professional and finished the repair in a single day! The steel I-beam solution I had installed is impressive and I’m certain the materials and installation will long outlive my house.

I am admittedly overly particular and rarely happy with any contractor work. I can honestly say that I couldn't be more pleased with Summit, their personnel and workmanship. It’s refreshing to work with good people and a company with integrity. I rarely write customer reviews; however, I felt obligated to write this for Jake and the Summit team. I invite anyone to do as I did, compare contractors’ reviews online, visit Summit’s website and schedule a meeting with Jake. After purchasing our house and discovering water damage in the basement, we made the call to Summit Basement Company. Jeff quickly came out and thoroughly inspected our basement, then provided recommendations for a waterproofing solution. Gabe, Ricky, and Dan did a fantastic job on our installation and made sure we understood how the new system works. They were able to work around several quirks that come with the basement of a 100-year-old home, still finishing the project right on time. We're already seeing the results of this project and can breathe a sigh of relief now that we have a dry basement. Highly recommend this crew to anyone!

We had Jeff Baer come to evaluate some vertical cracks in our basement foundation. He informed me they were nothing of concern given the age of the home and the cracks which seemed to have been there a significant amount of time. I asked probably a million questions and he was incredibly informative and more than willing to go above and beyond normal explantations and recommendations. I dragged him all throughout my house and outside in the snow to ask him even the most mundane questions and he never seemed exasperated by my paranoia and silly concerns. I would recommend them in the future!

Tevin and his team did an excellent job waterproofing and installing a sump pump. They were very professional and knowledgeable! They really went above and beyond to make sure we were informed and comfortable! Thank you so much!

Overall experience very good and 5-star. Jeff was very personable and did good job of describing the carbon fiber strap process and providing the estimate which seemed fair. Gabe & Rickie were on time and completed all work within stated time window, and cleaned up well at conclusion. There seemed to be a lot of epoxy dripped on basement floor but maybe just part of process and unavoidable. I would suggest the team introduce themself when arriving, as i did not get actual names until i asked 4 hours later at project conclusion. Jake and Ashley did a great job following up on my questions in expedient manner after project completed. Overall, a very positive experience, thanks to all.

From the start Jake was very informative and answered all my questions and concerns. Workers (Gabe and Team) very respectful of the house and kept our garage door shut every time they went in and out due to having cats who would like to escape. Job was done in 1-1/2 days, basically waterproofing an attached well pump room. Will see in the future if the problem is solved but by the quality of work completed I would expect 100% success. Tevin, David and Matt put a new sump pump in after we had a catastrophe in our basement for which our previous pump gave it's life. The guys were quick, professional and even saved us some money. We appreciate their hard work, expertise and integrity.

I called Summit Basement earlier in the summer. While we couldn’t afford the fix at the time, they were constantly checking in to see if there was anything they can do. I called Friday for a new sump pump, they were quick to return the call and quick to schedule the install. Dave and Matt were great, in and out extremely quick and did great work. Would recommend them to anyone!

I had gotten a few quotes for this job and summit gave me the best price by far, sure they didn’t do a smoke show and magic act during the quote like the big box companies but that’s not what I called them for, they were straight to the point, gave good advice, and were easy to work with not to mention the other quoters were almost 2 months out on install! On install day they sent out Gabe and Dan who were there 10 minutes earlier than expected, they were very nice and professional young guys, in and out everything took less than 5hrs even with cleanup! I’m glad that I had them out and gave them a chance, I know you’ll be happy with their work as well!

Summit Basement Company waterproofed our basement this past week. I genuinely could not have been more impressed. The quality of the workmanship was unimpeachable, and the crew (Gabe, Ricky, Jeff, Dan, Steve, and Clay) were both extremely skilled and also incredibly professional. In addition to the agreed upon work scope, they were also helpful in pointing out a plumbing issue we were unaware of. They showed up when they said they would, were courteous and kind, and completed the work when they said it would be completed, even with a slight alteration. Both inside and outside were practically spotless when they left. These pictures don't capture the thorough detail of their workmanship, but it was virtually flawless.

My experience with Summit Basement Company has been very positive right from the get-go. Jeff came out to quote the job and allowed me to create a video of his explanation so I could share it with additional decision-makers. He was professional, courteous, and helpful. The first day of the job Jeff showed up to introduce me to Dave and his crew. Again Jeff’s approach was very low-key and friendly, and he took time to answer my remaining questions. Over the three days that it took to complete the job, Dave and his crew politely explained their progress and the next steps that would be taken. I was able to see how the drainage would work, and felt very reassured that this would resolve the damp, musty issues. They went above and beyond to restore the area to its original state, even rebuilding two steps at the base of the staircase that had to be removed to access the outer wall. The company did a good job of providing clear quote details about what would be included in the job, the names of the individuals who would be performing the work, and contact information in case of any questions. I’d also like to give a shout out to Ashley in the office. Both times we had an opportunity to speak. She was very welcoming, warm, and patient. Every person with whom I had contact was very focused on customer service and getting the job done right— a rare commodity in today’s service industry.
