Water Damage Restoration reviews in Akron, Ohio

Have used RFD multiple times over the years at a couple different homes. Always a great experience. Dan and his team are great!!

This is absolutely the most prodessional and efficient company I have worked with in a long time. I had some pretty severe water damage and called as soon as my basement flooded. The guys came over and cleaned everything up so efficiently, while Dan explained the measures he was taking to prevent molding and sickness for my family. They worked with my insurance company and made this difficult experience much easier for me. The work was done swiftly and expertly, my basement looks and feels better than it did before! I highly recommend this company

We had major storm damage to our house roof and met with multiple contractors. We decided to go with RFD Services for many reasons. Their knowledge and hands on approach with insurance companies is top notch. Our insurance company first offer appeared fair until Dan the owner pointed out a large amount of items that our insurance policy would cover due to building code issues. After insurance claim repairs and negotiations were completed the original insurance offer was a not even close to what was actually required to replace our roof to local building codes. After Dan contacted our insurance company they approved all items from the RFD services estimate and paid the required amount.

My husband and I can not express our gratitude for everything that RFD services and the outstanding guidance of Dan Mocilnikar. Dan came to our home after a large branch fell on our home, which basically consumed the front part of our home. We were completely lost and did not know what to do. Dan looked at us and told us everything was going to be ok. He assured us that he was going to fix our home and guide us every step of the way, which he did. He answered our questions, our calls, and beyond. Dan was,at our home when the insurance adjuster came and handled everything for me.
The day the reconstruction started the crew was professional, friendly, and always gave a smile. The guys always answered questions and even explained what they were doing. The guys worked hard every day, I must say our dog looks for them every morning.
RFD Services is an outstanding, professional, and honest company. We will recommend their services to everyone. Dan told us our home we will be alright and fixed correctly and he and his crew did exactly that!
Thank you

From consultation to after-installation, we had a beyond perfect experience with RFD. They provided us with an informative description of the product with a very detailed quote well working hand-in-hand with our insurance agency. He was always open to answer any questions, and went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased. The crew was clean, efficient, experienced, and quick. We had a phenomenal experience, and would recommend RFD to anyone!

I just had my roof replaced by RFD roofing. I was very impressed by Dan and his team. They were very fast, professional and clean. The job was done in a few days and I couldn't tell they were there the day before (other than the beautiful new roof, siding and down spouts) because they cleaned up so well after. I highly recommend RFD for all you exterior renovation needs.

Loved working with Dan and the whole team. Had a tree fall on the house. They worked with my insurance company and me. The siding and roof were replaced on my home. It looks beautiful! Everyone was kind and courteous. Could not have asked for better folks to work with. I would recommend to anyone.

I am a real estate agent and have used this company more than once and highly recommend them. From clients who needed a new roof or repairs, I found them to be very efficient, professional and very knowledgeable about the roofing repairs and about roofing products.

This company did work on my home and my family's orchard buildings, and they did such a wonderful job each time. We have used them several times for multiple insurance claims including our roof, bathroom, and a kitchen leak.
During the stressful time of the kitchen flood, RFD Serivces's employees were very professional and caring. They helped us deal with the insurance company and did great work all throughout. I would recommend using them too anyone.

We had to have a major home repair and renovation. RFD did an amazing job! They were prompt, helpful and professional at all times, and their work is top-notch. Would highly recommend them.

The service Dan and Matt and the crew was just outstanding from first meet up. They did not leave one problem unsolved. From the mold in attic from leaks. They sprayed and fix any leakage. When doing the roof they went and replace any boards that needed it. Made sure I had the right venting going out of my roof. Put water and ice prevention up on roof. Helped me pick the right color roofing so my house looks so warm and inviting. they answer any questions (dumb ones too😉) that I asked along the way. When the roofers were done u wouldn't know they were here. Everything was cleaned up. I know I can sleep at night knowing that I am under a roof that was done right and has made me feel safe in my home. This company gets A+ in all categories. Thanks to everyone at rfd.

Have used RFD Services of Akron OHIO for emergencies at my property in Akron three years ago for a flood in my basement. They repaired the damage done by the flood in the basement. This included electrical, plumbing and paneling. Last year high winds destroyed, a fence, downspouts and parts of a roof, again they did excellent repairs quickly. This year due to freezing temperatures the sump pump failed and flood damage occurred. They repaired the damage seamlessly and efficiently. . In the future I would not hesitate to call them for any future emergencies and for future non emergency construction projects.

Great experience! Dan and Scott were both very clear and professional in all our communications. Our roof was done in a timely manor and construction was on point. Their crew also did a great job on clean up after the roof was complete. I would highly recommend RFD Services, LLC.

When we returned from vacation, we were shocked to find that our gazebo had been blown off our deck and into our house. A powerful storm had hit while we were away, causing damage to our siding and roof. Dan and his team responded quickly to assess the situation, handling everything with professionalism from start to finish. Dealing with insurance can be a hassle, but Dan guided us through every step, making the process so much easier. I truly can’t say enough good things about Dan and his team—they will be my first call if we ever need repairs again.

RFD led by Dan M does superb work. Our house flooded due to a broken washer hose. Dan and his team was onsite within the hour with fans and dehumidifiers to mitigate the water damage, and then managed a 5 month rebuild that included restoring our basement, replacing and leveling the subfloor, replacing over 1500 sq ft of oak flooring, rebuilding our laundry room and kitchen. His team even pulled and saved our cherry cabinets and later restored them in place. When a subcontractor didn’t finish the work correctly, Dan had them do it over until he (and we) were satisfied. Dan knows how to work with insurance companies, communicates very well, and completes the jobs. We have been beyond impressed. If you need a home rebuilt after a disaster, go with RFD.

Had a tree hit our house. When we gave Dan and the guys at RFD was a blessing. From start to finish i barely lifted a finger. The hardest part with working with RFD picking the color of shingles we wanted they and plenty of them. If I were in the same situation would definitely call RFD again and again. They made the whole process from impact to finish stress free.

RFD did an amazing job mitigating our water damage from a pipe that burst in our bathroom. Their advanced technology and scanning techniques found water in many places The other company would’ve left behind to cause mold in the future. Not only Did they handle the cleanup but they also handled dealing with the insurance company and making sure we were able to communicate effectively and receive reimbursement for everything that needed to be fixed not just some of it. From cleanup to scope write up with the insurance , to rebuild, RFD will cover everything you need!

Work was prompt, professional, thorough, and up to code Dan dealt with the insurance company for more funds to fix my roof and deck

RFD Services responded immediately when my basement flooded during high rains, and my system failed. The crew took all the necessary steps to prevent additional damage and protect us from more significant health and safety risks.

They handled all issues with the insurance provider and completed my services promptly. With so many other companies available, this is the only one who answered and immediately started the work.

Dan has a group of very professional employees who do exceptional work - no shortcuts. I’m EXTREMELY satisfied with the house and garage siding and roofing Dan’s crew did! I HIGHLY recommend his company!
